Zhu Yaying is an amazing salesperson. She's lovely, charming, and thoughtful--the perfect example of how luxury sales should be. She sets the bar high for excellence and is a role model for all luxury sales professionals. I'm happy that Van Cleef & Arpels has people like her adding to their prestigious luxury status.

The entire experience was amazing and a 10 on the scale. Jack Hung was our salesman. He was extremely knowledgeable. He explained how delicate the one I wanted was. He gave us champagne and chocolate as I was fitted and made my selection in a very comfortable area, where my husband and I were seated. Because the malachite is in demand, and no where to be found in the US and Canada, I had to order and won't receive for about 6-8 weeks, but b4 my birthday, which was important. If ever I decide to purchase another item, Jack is the man.

They have THE WORST customer service here. Everytime I go in here to get my bracelet resized the Chinese guy and some Chinese girl are extremely rude makes me feel like I'm a burden to ask for resizing my bracelet.. when they can't even get the sizing correct. Resizing takes forever... couple weeks & each worker tells me a different rule about resizing policy... like? Get it together. The staff should be friendly and know what the rules are.. shouldn't be different everytime I come in... I will stick with cartier now.

Checked out their newer location at the SCP and it's much bigger and nicer. They had a couple securities to help you check in. I already knew her I wanted to check out, so the whole process was quick. And the SA who helped me was professional and friendly.

Van Cleef's appointment system was very efficient. We were able to walk around the mall while waiting for our turn. Once our SA is ready for us, we received a text and a call from them. Cameron was very helpful and made good recommendations on what color of Alhambra's will be perfect for my needs. Most of the popular color is not available for purchase and needs to be ordered. I am extremely contented with this visit and will definitely recommend her to my friends.

Customer service was good when we came in to look around. The particular item was not available and had to be ordered. Our sales person told us she will call when it becomes available. Jewelry looks so perfect.

I was initially texting with a woman at this location regarding a few pieces I was looking for. Once she found out she was not going to be there the day of my appt she cut contact. I found that to be super unprofessional and I almost wrote off this location. But I did end up meeting with Dennis to buy my dream piece. He was very patient and understanding and made my experience very enjoyable.

I'm still very much in love with my Vintage Alhambra 5 motifs guilloche bracelet. But the 2 stars is for the customer service. I'm not even mad, I'm just extremely disappointed with the durability of the jewelry and the service I've received from different SAs. This bracelet is highly sought after, so it took them 3 months from purchase to delivery until I was able to pick it up in July 2023. It was worth the wait but not sure if it's worth the dollar amount. I bought the bracelet bc it's just so beautifully crafted and sparkly and feminine and dainty. But that shouldn't mean it should be flimsy too. After ONE MONTH of wearing it, one of the chain links broke and my bracelet fell off. I contacted my SA and she was sympathetic but said the broken link is not under warranty and I would have to pay $180 for the repair. VCA offers the tailoring of their jewelry to your liking free of charge, within one year of purchase. And since I also wanted to add two additional links back onto the bracelet I thought the fee would be waived bc it's really just taking out the broken link, replacing it and adding two more links. They would have to do the same anyway to just add links, so why couldn't they just waive it? I just don't understand. Why would I pay more to fix a lemon of expensive jewelry? The SA was nice to ask her manager but of course VCA is a business of selling, not really for building the brand or the relationship and the fee could not be waived. Some SAs are nice, but most are not. Some I can't even understand their accents. Not trying to be mean or insensitive here, just stating that I can't understand what they're saying to me. The store is beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and like other luxury stores, they offer you Evian, champagne and chocolate while you wait. This is my first jewelry with VCA and will likely be my last unfortunately. Just a shame.

Im usually reluctant when going to high end stores because of the so many negative reviews customers get from employees. Everyone i came across at this location this morning were great, friendly. I had to come drop my bracelet off for an adjustment and Rigo helped me out, im excited to receive my item in a few weeks!

Not often I write an immediate review, but i feel like it is necessary. Today, August 8th is our anniversary, we were at South Coast and stopped by the store to get me wife an Onyx necklace. It was 7:40pm. Door man did not let me in. Even though I told him I know EXACTLY what I want (he confimed that they have it in the store) . i said "I'm sure one of your associates would appreciate a quick sale, I’ll be out of here as fast as she can charge my credit card” Door man still said no. One female associate saw me, made her way out to me but was stopped by the Door man. This location lost a quick sale tonight. I truely hope this is how the brand carry themselves. Such a highend brand with low grade service… at least at this location. Don’t waste your time here.

Very unpleasant experience with SA Jake and Rigo. Bought new bracelet with Jake and sent directly to be shortened. Another SA Rigo contacted me for shipping back to me. But not willing to provide tracking info. Received in a bad package and the certificate was missing. Contacted both SAs and no response for a whole day. Finally replied and said it will be sent. No apologies. Again, no tracking info but need signature.Never had such unpleasant experience with any other luxury brands/ stores. Will advise my friends not going to this store.

Came in to pick up my item and was supposed to ask for Rigo Alcaraz after we had already spoken early during the day. Waited over an hour just to pick up my item very disappointing. I had to come to front desk again to ask receptionist to assign me to someone else this was ridiculous to wait over an hour for an item pick up. I'll prefer to come to Cameron was more helpful and attentive, VCA you need to improve some employees.

Decades ago I fell in love with the Alhambra collection. Finally, two years ago, I got my first piece for my birthday. Yesterday, I got another piece for my birthday at the boutique in Costa Mesa. The craftsmanship of the Alhambra is exceptional. Service could improve a bit more. Also, be it online purchase or in-store, item is not readily available. It has to be ordered in France with a wait time of two weeks or more.
