Sam is very friendly. Wait times are short and service is excellent.

Worst post office EVER!! I mail all our small business packages thru this post office, but never had the pleasure (sarcasm) of dealing with their staff until today. I was mailing a package to a friend (mailed same package several thru USPS and UPS and FedEx) of the same contents. A 10 ml essential oil roller bottle. He told me which slip to fill out bc it was going to the UK. When i came back to his little station he starts yelling (actually yelling) that i am responsible for a plane blowing up with this package. Seeing as my full time job handles all sorts of cosmetic products and my own vendor is located in France, I'm well aware of the rules for shipping. Instead of him either communicating to me that they can only ship this via ground or that i might need to wrap it differently he keeps yelling that i am responsible for planes exploding. So in the same tone he is giving me, i state that he wasn't making sense. He gets even louder (still yelling that I'm blowing up planes!) i take my package and walk out. As I'm walking out he is still screaming at me. Worst post office and based on the other reviews sounds like they do not care to make it better.

Came to apply for my passport. Granted 6 min late because got delayed at my job( people work you know) , the woman there made little to absolutely no effort to help. She yelled out loud how I am 10 min late, no.. you argue with me longer. It's not that she couldn't. It's that she didn't want to. Don't waste your time here. She is miserable and wants to make everyone miserable using her "authority " to say no. Also, no masks worn by staff

I have had 3 pieces of mail stolen on 3 different occasions by a mailman that delivers on my regular mailman's day off. I have informed delivery where the post office takes a picture of mail that is addressed to me. 2 of the times there were 2 pieces of mail but I only received one of the 2. And the pieces that were stolen were ones that had monetary value. This last time was a birthday card that was sent to me from Newport Coast and I am in costa mesa. I have called the Adams office only to be laughed at, hung up on and told they would call me back after they investigated. It has been over a month since I called and no call back. I called the 800 number and all they gave were excuses and told that you never get it the same day. YES I HAVE ALWAYS GOTTEN MY INFORMED DELIVERY MAIL THE SAME DAY!!! They have thieves working in the post office and will not do anything about it. I was also told to insure all my mail, how stupid its that. They protect their own even if they are breaking the law. HOW IS IT I CAN NOT TRUST THE US POSTAL SERVISE TO DELIVER MY MAIL?? BECAREFUL THEY WILL STEAL YOURS IF THEY HAVE NOT ALREADY.

Do NOT give this location your business. Truly the worst customer service experience I've had, public or private sector. We had a 2:30 pm passport appointment and arrived at 2:35 due to heavy traffic from LA and my son's school schedule. My husband and I took time off work for this appointment, and we had our two young children with us. Dwayne, the worker monitoring the line, was rude from the first moment and refused to honor our appointment because we were five minutes late. Literally five minutes. I understand that they ask passport customers to arrive 5-10 minutes early, but we were still well within our appointment slot, and they showed zero empathy for working parents during a pandemic. Dwayne and his supervisor chose to argue with us in front of my children rather than allow us our appointment, or even let us wait for a later time. I've reported this to USPS and will continue to escalate until I can speak with someone in their direct line of supervision. These employees are rude, entitled, and completely unhelpful. As a fellow government employee, I'm shocked that this is how federal tax dollars are spent. Shame on you.

Authentically this is the worst post office I have ever been to. Not only are the lines exceptionally long but the people that work there including management are complete jerks. The personnel here needs to be retrained from a director's standpoint because their customer service is nonexistent and fully dismissed. I walked in on a man dismissing a woman and two young children and her husband because they were within five minutes after one of their appointments. The Latino manager was chuckling about the situation. I personally had another man that was standing in the back of the post office not spend more than two seconds I'm trying to help me find a package in the back. I miss hb office, I love the mail personal over there.

Home to the MEANEST postal worker. Each time I come here and he happens to be the person to "help" me he makes assumptions as to what info I need to provide. Today I went to pick up mail that was on hold so I tell him that, take out my ID and tell him I have a confirmation #. He says I need to give him the address so I go to hand my ID. And he says no you need to say it. So, I do in the same tone he was giving me. Fast forward he says I need to go to the post office on Adams. So I do and I get there and do the same process except this time I begin to state my address and no joke this postal worker tells me , no just hand me your ID. Don't assume I know how to do your job. I'm surprised I am even saying that because I'm sure it's super annoying when people claim to know how to do your job. Go to the post office on Adams. Really it's only a block away. It didn't ruin my day but it sure made the time very frustrating. The first time he made it difficult for me to send something to my husband who is deployed in the army. I just got back in line and a very friendly female postal worker was patient enough to help me. Not everyone is mean but he's always there. This mean postal worker should go work at the DMV. Surprisingly though I have yet to have a negative experience there.

1. I only waited in line for 10m, right at closing 2. They sell individual stamps and envelopes here 3. The staff are all friendly and funny. Thanks Nathan! 4. If your packages are already paid for and ready to go, you can just skip the line and give it to the worker in front to scan-in 5. I will definitely come again I am a college kid that knows ABSOLUTELY nothing about mail. The internet is full of so much mixed information, I didn't even know what to do. I just showed up with some tax forms that I needed to send to the IRS and expected to be yelled at, scolded, or honestly straight up miss my tax deadline. To my surprise, the staff were extremely helpful, kind, and funny too! Nathan helped me out so much and made the experience easy and actually enjoyable. I literally only had the forms in my hand and he walked me through all my options and his recommendations: regular vs priority vs certified, etc. For those of you like me with no experience, they do in fact sell individual envelopes and stamps at this post office which I purchased. I honestly don't know why their star rating is so low because it was one of the best post office experiences I've ever had.

Went in for a new passport. Two employees were not wearing masks, and the man that worked there( who wasn't wearing a mask) has a temper, he started raising his voice when I asked more questions about the documentation I needed. Will not go to again.

Old Native American looking man was extremely rude. Asked a simple question and he went on a rant for no reason. Go to the other post office in Costa Mesa.

This lady who didn’t have a mask told me lies about how I can not send my camera because the batteries have to be in them. Not only are there three batteries included so there’s no way for me to have them all inside the camera, but I’ve also sent many cameras packed the same way before and never had any problems. I think she might just always be looking for something to fuss about. Hope you find peace, ma’am.

Sent an important letter with some cashiers checks and usb drive to family. Sent certified to make sure I know they receive it.. I sent on Dec 10th, 2020. Today is Dec 29th and still haven't been delivered. It's no we're near where it's destination is!! WTF. I could have drove to deliver myself and would have took me 45 minute not 20plus days..

Gotta give em 5 stars. The manager lady was really helpful to me when I had a package get stuck in a back and forth limbo awhile back.

Just got my mail delivered. Was waiting outside since I noticed the mail carrier was next door. I was waiting since we do have mail thieves pretty often & I had packages coming in. It was a guy delivering next door, then he had called for someone to finish his route. When she arrived, she had dropped someone's package on the ground pretty hard like it didn't matter. When she arrived to my apartment, she speed walks passed me, asked if I swore at her when I was just standing there. That's when I explained I was waiting since we have thieves. She asked if this was my apartment, I said yes & she tossed my package at my door. I really wish I had recorded this, but this is really the best I can do.
