UFC Costa Mesa is hands down the best gym I’ve ever belonged to. The classes, both workout and martial arts, offer an incredible value that’s hard to find anywhere else. The coaches are amazing, and while some come and go (as is common in the industry), the overall vibe of the gym remains steady and positive. They have plans that allow you to access alk the UFC gyms nationwide.
Everyone here is super supportive of your goals, and I’ve made so many friends since joining. The community aspect of this gym is something special. Plus, it’s owned by UFC greats Cub Swanson and Michael Bisping, which makes it even cooler. Cub often trains here with his entire team, so you can really feel the presence and energy in the gym.
I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more for anyone looking to take their fitness or martial arts journey to the next level!

I have never felt so welcomed by a business before. I was helped by Nick and Jay. Their professionalism and thoroughness were refreshing. Thank you Jay and Nick!! THERE IS NO BETTER GYM OUT THERE EVERYONE!

I've been trying to decide what time of gym I wanted to join for a while now. Between 24 hour, CrossFit or a BJJ gym, which l've all done in the past. But never thought about a UFC GYM even though I live across the street from one. Finally decided to check it out. Made an appointment with jade and was blown away at everything they offer. Literally everything | wanted plus so much more in one gym! If you're debating on what you want to do, don't waste time like I did!

It’s not a 24 hour gym, though the website and their door hours say otherwise. Friday they close at 8 pm, Saturday & Sunday at 6 pm. It’s a big gym but the equipment is limited to one machine each, not multiples as you’d expect for a warehouse type space.
Gym bags are left everywhere, next to the machines as people work out. Barely no one removes their weights after themselves, nor it is enforced by management. People work out shirtless or in flipflops.
It’s not a bad gym overall, but not great.

First off there employees are severe in their pushienes to have you buy more classes/ private classes ( to the point that the only way they'll stop is by saying you out right do not have the money to afford extra classes). secondly if you wish to cancel, they wont cancel. Currently a year out of leaving the gym and the past four months new charges from their gym started.

Was double billed for services never signed up for. Sorry guys. Can not recommend fraudulent billing practices.

Really disappointed with being double charged every month for my membership without ever signing up for "additional services". BE careful about this place sign up process.

Coach Richie Munguia is an OG who just transferred here to UFC costa Mesa. I've trained with him at UFC HB since before covid and now fight under him resulting in 4-0 thus far (3 kickboxing 1 boxing) He really knows his stuff. He also teaches MMA Jiu-jitsu, strength & conditioning, muay thai, wrestling, dieting/meal plan/supplement intake & recovery. Stoked to have him over at CM location to accompany the other great coaches ? ? ?

I've been with the UFC gym community for over 2 years now. Joining UFC was one of the best decision of my life, one of my favorite reason to go is for the skills and technique classes taught by Coach Richie. He helped me hone my skills in kickboxing, as well as becoming more comfortable with the class and with the team, especially in a predominantly male sports. I have also taken one on one classes with Coach Richie, and I could not recommend more. There's really no cheat sheet on how to learn martial art besides consistency, but maybe some one on one would help accelerate it just a little bit.

The gym is nice and has everything I need. I’m mainly there for coach Richie. He’s THE guy when it comes to any combat sport you’re interested either boxing, Muay Thai, mma or bjj. He is well knowledge in all fields. If you want to dial in your nutrition or improve your workout regimen he is well educated in that as well. I don’t miss any of his classes, he has good attention to detail and also bring a good intensity and vibe to all of his classes. For sure hit him up when attending this gym!!

Had a great first time experience back to the gym thanks to Stewart and making me feel comfortable in a different UFC gym. Came on a Thrusday night and wasnt packed got a full body workout in and even got to try out the recovery Space and loved the massage chairs and compression device which has me feeling bigger and better already again thanks to Stewart for showing me how to use everything. Super friendly staff, members, and eclectic environment.
