We have had an incredible experience with TippedEars. I reached out considering adopting, and was matched with cats that they felt would do well with our family and housing situation. They were very communicative about their expectations and certain care for any cats that are adopted, which I felt was very thorough. It is obvious they have an abundant amount of love for the cats they all foster, which is so special.
We picked the sweetest 1 year old kitty named Junie, and she fits right in with our family. She has the most outgoing personality and just loves to be included in everything. I am so glad she was suggested to us, because I can’t imagine having any other cat.
If we are ever considering getting a second cat, we will definitely come back to TippedEars. The whole process was such a positive experience and I’m grateful to have found this organization full of incredible individuals.

The entire process was amazing from start to finish. I really appreciate how dedicated they are to ensuring the fur babies find good homes and that adopters are fully prepared. Rita is incredible—so knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions I have. If you're thinking about adopting, I highly recommend checking out Tipped Ears. 100% satisfied! Cash and Zoey have their forever homes!!!! (Aka Wilbur and Amelia)

As a lifelong dog owner, I was a nervous wreck about transitioning to cats! After extensive research and several trips to shelters, I felt ready to adopt but still had lingering concerns.
Finding TippedEars within my community was a game-changer. When I sent in a request for more information on a pair of cats, I received a reply the very next morning. This prompt response included detailed information and a scheduled call with the owner, Renae. During our hour-long chat, Renae provided an incredibly thorough rundown of everything I needed to know about cats, and she connected me with their foster parent.
Meeting Piano and Rhubarb was love at first sight, and I knew I had to move forward with the adoption. Vita, the foster, was exceptional. She kept me updated on the cats' health and diet and patiently answered all my questions about their favorite toys, recommended cat furniture, and more. Vita even offered a thoughtful care package with their favorite food, treats, and toys to help them adjust to their new home.
Now, a few weeks into the adoption, I am absolutely enamored with Piano and Rhubarb. They have opened up so quickly and brought an indescribable joy to my life. I couldn't be more grateful to TippedEars for their support throughout the entire process. I highly recommend TippedEars to anyone interested in adopting. Their dedication and care are truly outstanding!

I had a great experience with my recent adoption through Tipped Ears. Their owner Vita was so patient and kind to walk me through all the details and never pushed me to just take a cat, she truly wanted to make sure it would be a perfect match my family and the cat, just the way it should be!Once I had decided on my new cat, Vita continued to be supportive through the adoption process making sure I had all the right vaccine paperwork, microchip information and checked in a few times to make sure the transition for my new little guy was successful.I can't say enough good things about the rescue organization and all the good things they do, both for adoptable cats and the feral colonies around Southern California. Their fosters were also amazing, super helpful and created loving homes for their animals while waiting to be adopted. Definitely consider Tipped Ears for your next fur baby!

Thanks to Tipped Ears, the kitten I found is safe and on his way to good health. I wasn’t able to afford the surgery he needed to repair his fractured leg, and when the Tipped Ears team found out, they stepped in to rescue him. What strikes me most is how determined they are to help the suffering street cats they find with their difficult health issues. As his foster, I feel supported and reassured by their knowledge of cat behavior and health, ability to coordinate and access urgent veterinary care, and determination to help this kitten through his different recovery challenges and health issues. They consider food, medications, testing, treatments, and vaccinations, socializing the cat, its living conditions and how much time and attention is needed. I’m also feeling more capable of helping community cats in need of TNR and adoption in my Compton neighborhood because they are here.

TippedEars is an ANSWERED PRAYER. Vita, Renee, Priscilla, ALL OF THEM. I applied to them to help me with my colony cats last year and they reached out when they had slots available to help. I thought they would just pick up my colony cats, spay/neuter them, and then release them back but they went above and beyond without you asking based on the needs of the critters. They are extremely knowledgeable in how to care for them and the care and love they show for them, which I share, made me feel so supported and seen. They not only TNR'd them (Vita and Renee helped with that), but also did medical examinations for all of them and my two senior cats were in need of medical treatment, which they planned for. They provided me a cage and resources to keep my two senior cats in there and some medicine to give to them. They made an appointment for one of them, who needs dental work and surgery and also found a foster for her.I mentioned to them that I also have fosters in my care and they offered to vaccinate, de-worm, and de-flea them, which Renee did so safely at my home. They are also trying to help me find homes for my fosters since it has been difficult to do so. I cannot express how thankful I am to them for helping with my colony cats and fosters. I have been fostering out of pocket for three years now and I haven't been working as much anymore so all of the help they have provided has been a huge weight off my shoulder.Lots of people don't care or understand about the little critters or see the impact we make to them when we help them out by rescuing or fostering, feeding them, etc. TippedEars not only helps but they understand and they CARE and provide by going above and beyond based on the needs. I am blessed to have found them and I feel better and supported now that my colony cats were taken care of as well as my fosters.

I have fostered 4 cats for TippedEars so far and have had a great experience. Everyone involved is extremely knowledgeable about rescue and I have always felt very supported as a fosterer. It’s easy to get very attached to foster cats so knowing that Tipped Ears is selective with their adoption process is the reason that I chose to foster for them. I wouldn’t be able to give up a foster cat if I didn’t believe they would be happy and healthy in their new home. It is clear that this organization deeply cares about all of the cats they rescue. I really appreciate the effort they go through to make sure all of their cats go to safe and loving forever homes.I also really admire their dedication to TNR to prevent future cats from suffering on the streets and to combat the overcrowding crisis in shelters. This is desperately needed in Southern California.

I needed help with my colony cats and they help me. The cats had babies and they took them and found them a forever home. The cats are neuter and return. For me, TIPPEREARS are the best. Thank you very much for helping with the outdoor cats.

I submitted a two page application to this agency in Newport Beach to adopt two kittens. I received a call asking for a telephone interview. I agreed. The agency called and for the first 15 minutes before I hung up on her the woman, she only talked about herself. She was so busy telling me how great she was she forgot about asking me any personal questions related to owning kittens and/or cats. I had already submitted my Vet's name and phone number as a reference. The only thing she wanted to discuss was wet food vs. dry food. She said I could only have the kittens if I agreed to her 'natural wet food'. I replied this is something my vet and I have always worked out to find what would be best for my kitten/cats. She quickly responded that Vets do not know anything about feeding cats. At that point I said we are finished and hung up. All my cats have lived between 16 and 20 years. Every other agency I have talked to want us to adopt one of their kittens. We passed all other qualifications. I will never deal with this single minded agency again. They should be looking for someone who wants a cat, is prepared to care for the cat, have a good vet., and a home that is more than suitable for a cat. Wish she would have taken the time to interview me, and check my references, instead of pushing her own natural catfood.

I had a great experience adopting my 2 kitties with Tipped Ears. From the moment I shared my interest, they were very attentive and informative. I know that I can still rely on them even after completing the process if I have any questions or concerns. They truly care about their cats and want to make sure they go to the right home. Prior to my adoption, my cats had a number of medical issues that they personally managed. By the time I got them they were in tip top shape! They gave me a booklet of information on how to transition my cats to their new home and how to take the best care of them. I continue to see their efforts in the community and can vouch for their dedication to saving cats lives. I wish there were more organizations like this! Thank you Tipped Ears for my babies!

TippedEars is a wonderful rescue to foster for and volunteer with. They are extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive, providing fosters with the skills they need to care for cats and kittens with confidence. I recently fostered Panko with TippedEars. He was with me for about four months before being adopted by the perfect family. TippedEars has a thorough process for vetting adopters and ensuring that cats go to the best homes. I’m excited to work with TippedEars again in the future!
