I went on my app today to book a time for service on my new Tesla model Y Performance. Got a reply back from one of the service guys telling me that I don’t have to come in for regular tire rotations for the performance model. I was shocked at the honesty of a service place. In the past, I’ve always had to pay more than what I expect for service at a car dealership/ mechanics shop. First time ever that someone in service department has ever saved me money. He did mentioned that performance models do wear out the back tires fast so keep an eye out for the wear/tear.

Had a pricy repair here $4k+ when my wife went to pick up the car the service man didn’t walk her out to even show her where the car was, left the car with a very low charge and didn’t even give it a courtesy exterior wash. Car had hand prints from the mechanics all over it. You would think if you’re spending that type of money there would be some sort of customer service. Honda gives a car wash when you bring a car in for a $50 oil change. Very disappointed with the customer service from this locations “luxury” car brand

Absolutely the best service center in OC. Nate was my service advisor who was super nice throughout the whole service. He kept me updated and made sure I got a loaner. They took care of an issue that was bothering me a lot and now it's better than I ever could have expected. Nate really did a perfect job and Raf the tech who went on a test drive to verify my concern was also wonderful. Highly recommend this service center and team! Thank you!!

Honestly I'm so shocked at the level of customer service... have only had the car for a few months and felt the alignment was off so I brought it in.. upon further inspection they told me my tires have worn unevenly and now I need two new tires for 800 dollars.. so I argued that the car has only been driven on the freeway with not aggressive driving. Shouldn't the alignment have been done prior to delivery? To which the service techs answer was "if you would have brought it back within 90 days we could have done something... and that I could go to discount tires for a better price" needless to say this is not a good way to retain a customer.. these service techs are completely incompetent and need to go back to taking orders at Jack in the box.

Service drop off was great. The advisor was on point from the beginning. Correct remote diagnosis. Everything was prepared ahead of time and he already had a loaner ready for me. In and out in a minute.Pickup was not so great. Although my car was ready, no one seemed to know that. No communication between the people out front and the people inside. They cover the drivers seat but the uncovered areas were left dirty. And the car came back with uneven tire pressures. Just sloppy.Services: Electrical repair

Tesla will make YOU pay if your vehicle is damaged while under their care.I dropped a brand new Tesla Model Y off for service under their 7-day, 100 mile policy. We went through the list and noted the issues. After my appointment, I left the car with Tesla, was given a loaner and was on my way.Two hours later, I get a call saying that someone else hit my vehicle and damaged it, requiring a repair over $1200 for a new front bumper.Tesla refuses to accept responsibility and has been ignoring my calls. They're sending me the bill demanding payment. They're threating to charge me $100/day until I return the loaner vehicle and accept the damaged car from their center.Nate Lopez, the Service Supervisor, is the one who has been handling this issue.I would advise anyone trying to get their vehicle worked on should avoid this service center.Be warned and know that any unforeseen damage to your vehicle is YOUR responsibility to pay for when you leave it with Nate Lopez and this service center.Service: Body & Trim

This location is horrible. I'm my 2021 Model 3 was making suspension noise and I went to have it addressed as I believed it was a safety issue. They try to charge me $300 to lubricate by saying it was wear & tear when this should have been addressed by warranty. The car was less than 2 years old, the only reason suspension noise started was because the lack of lubricant (which would cause premature failure) from the factory. Luis tried to make it seem like he was doing me a favor, the "managers" felt they needed to 2v1 me on this complaint that it wasn't covered under warranty. They have no experience working on vehicles. Go to Irvine or Santa Ana, this place is quite literally a piece of sh*t run by idiots. Techs are fine, it's the "front" people.

My Tesla X has been through so much in the last 5 years it which made me feel as though I was the unluckiest Tesla (bad karma) owner around. There were many a times where I found myself bickering with customer service at nearly all Tesla locations, even the one in Costa Mesa, for the company's small lies. That was until recent that I had discovered two kind spiritual souls at the Costa Mesa location (Jarred & Beto) who turned me back into a believer, and I've since had nothing but respect for the hard work that those guys put into Tesla's there at their dealership to keep that place running efficiently for customers like me who wants to get in there quick for a service, un-lied to, then make it back in time for dinner.I've since learned that the speed at which all employees had to operate makes it easy for new employees to take shortcuts with small lies and etc. I supposed every thing has got its reasons and I feel now a lot more calm and patient and to allow things to come my way without forcing it.Thank you two tremendously, Jarred Fish and Beto, for all that you've done in keeping me calm and converting me back into a Tesla fan. You both need a promotion, I mean right away!Danny.

Flat tire only owned new performance Tesla Model Y less than a month. Frustrating for several reasons. Tesla's do not have spare tires, tools or anything besides an adapter for other electrical charging stations. You need to call service and they can bring you spare tire, or tow the car. Of course service truck out of spare tires.Decided the next morning I will buy a low profile jack and just remove the tire and take it to the Tesla service center. The service shop actually seemed surprised I did not tow the car for a flat tire. Sad nobody can remove a tire.Anyway, new tires and they placed a plug. It costs $124 to plug the tire. Will go to Costco for the next set of tires. This worries me if I get a flat driving to Texas. I need to come up with something besides a can of Fix a Flat on a long deserted desert road in Arizona or New Mexico.

In general it's best to stay away from Tesla service centers if you have an issue and it's not under warranty. Or so I've been told. Today confirmed it. I got a flat tire on June 15th and the process to make an appointment was easy. I made the earliest appointment which was June 27th and the tow truck guy gave me a temporary tire which was cool. It would have been nice to be told that I could just go into the service center any day and get the tire swapped out but that was not conveyed by the service Rep in the app. When reviewing the flat tire, the back left tire was complete bald. "Never seen that before" said the tow truck guy, and it was the original tire at 29,000 miles. All other tires were normal and still had lots of life left. June 27th came and I was scheduled to be at Lake Forest service at 8:30am. I sat there for about 30 minutes until they figured out that my tire was sent to Costa Mesa. I'm not sure how that happens but if it was my business I would send someone to get it or have someone drive it over. Instead they told me to drive over. So now I'm wasting another 30 minute drive each way just to get a tire replaced. I also wanted to get an alignment or at least checked over to see if it needed an alignment or if the motor was acting strange due to just one tire being bald. I explained that to the Lake forest guy and also the Costa Mesa guy yet no one ended up checking to see if I needed an alignment done. It's also in my app and my estimate that I requested one but no one seemed to take the time to check. The service desk people do not know how to communicate at all to the customer or the actual technician doing the work. At Costa Mesa they replaced my tire and said I was done within about two hours. Seemed weird to me because I thought an alignment would take longer. No one cared to do an alignment or even check anything besides swapping out my tire. At every other auto shop they will check other issues with the car. Especially when the customer requests extra items to inspect. The manager of Costa Mesa came out because no one else knew what I was asking for and they just repeated more ignorant phrases just to get me out the door.I had to repeat at least three times that I've never replaced any tire, we are the original owners, and that this is odd that one tire is bald and all others are fine. He kept saying the other tire is not Michelin and therefore not an original tire. He would not take my word that the car was delivered with mismatched tires. He kept pointing out that my other rear tire is different from stock tires and kept saying I've changed my tires around even though we have not. He said that Tesla "always has Michelin tires on a 3" and that in "my 18 years of experience this happens a-lot and tires never come delivers mismatched." Yet if you do a simple google search you can see lots of stories of people receiving their cars with different sets of tires. I's obvious at this point this guy is just a scammer and doesn't care about customer service or putting in any effort to figure out the issue with the car. I started off this whole conversation with the manager about how I wanted them to see if an alignment is needed and for some reason they couldn't comprehend that request. I explained to him again and again that each location knew this and it's on my service receipt. Something is obviously is making the left rear tire bald but they couldn't care less. At this point I was done with Tesla service so I don't want them touching my car. I'll go elsewhere for better service and a lot better prices. He tried showing me the spec of the car that it was delivered with all four Michelin tires but it was just a spec sheet to show what should be used for the car. Not actual delivery. There must be a way to figure that out but he didn't seem to care or had no time to keep a customer.
