I called and asked if i could pick up the door direct instead of having it shipped because i live nearby and he went on a rant on how i am trying to avoid paying taxes and put him out of business and then he hung up on me. i was willing to pay to have it shipped, i was just checking. Now there is no chance i am buying from them. I am very confused

Horrible customer service. Rude rude rude. Actually hung up on me when I questioned the high shipping cost for a tag!!!!! Had my door for years and it works well but what a joke how they handle a customers questions.

The door works using ANY old magnet! Even a kitchen magnet opened the door. It isn't any kind of special magnet. Why is a magnet costing $40 with $20 to ship it. I can get a magnet anywhere. So can a burglar! I am a little freaked out by this.
Follow up: Pretty much anything with a rechargeable battery will open this door. I was able to open it by waving my cell phone in front of it and then my earbuds and then a kid's toy. I think anything with a lithium ion rechargeable battery will open this door.

BE AWARE!!
I ordered for my pet a large automatic pet door. It looks good but doesn't really work properly. Later on I ordered additional door tag for my pet. I ordered it on 6.10.2023 and still did not get it. I emailed several times with no reply back. Today I called them again, the guy asked me for my website.. I told him that I do not have one. I guessed that he is asking for my email, I gave it to him and his reply was: "talk to somebody else" and he hangup on me. This is customer service that you get, their own face!! Shame on you!!!! You took my money and did not deliver the product = you stole my money! You deserve 0 stars!!!!!!!

A16-lb door shipping UPS ground from CA to TX - costs $235? This is half the price of the door.
Customer service & response to questions about replacing the door we have (which has been great! Just worn out) has been poor - seems very annoyed with basic questions on size & clarification before placing an order.
The products are great - the service and support are NOT.

I have Had 2 doors from him for years now. They are the largest ones. For over 2 weeks now I have Been trying to get parts for one the doors. The motor and pulley is broken. I have spoken to a multiple times and each time I talk to him he doesn’t recall the last conversation. He asked me to email over my confirmations I did that and we had to do go over that twice. Over two weeks later now, still no parts and can’t get in touch with him. I think he is losing his mind. And I was charged for all my parts. Not sure what to do or how to handle this. I guess I will have to call my credit card and have the charges reversed. anyone have any idea of how to get in touch with this man? Prior to that the doors have been great. I have five dogs ranging from Frenchies to great Danes. So they’ve been great. But now that I need parts, I can’t get them.

Hank Solo is the most unprofessional individual. Poor customer service. I ordered a door in November. When it arrived I found out it was the wrong one. I tried calling the number on file and no answer. After a few attempts he finally answered and I explained the scenario. He was helpful at first until I said I needed to return the door… I initially asked for an exchange. And he hesitated. Then he hung up. I tried calling, and calling, no answer. I thought I legit got ripped off. I called my bank to report it. They refunded me the payment. And I sent the old door back. Come to find out he sent another door. A really small door! I asked him why he sent another door is I asked for a refund? He stated there was a confusion. I called my bank and to dispute and come to find he charged another $38.50 with out approval or authorization! The representative said some smaller companies do this to keep the payment and they can show they sent the product via confirmation of delivery. I contacted the state for them to further investigate this business. I highly not recommend this place. Very unethical practices. Definitely will never give my business to this individual or this company.

The absolutely best dog door on the market. Our first door is 15 years old and still works perfectly, we bought another door last year for a second home and again, it works perfectly. I highly recommend their doors!

No response to inquiry email for over two weeks… If they can’t provide even decent service for someone looking to buy one… what can you expect after you do receive it. Hard pass.

The door is huge and looks terrible. Not good instructions and never installed. Buyer beware with a no return policy. Too expensive to take a chance. Stand behind your product
