I came into this store in search of a Graco product and the employees went above and beyond with their service. David the Branch Manager was a great help in setting up my company with a commercial account. He ran through all the services Sherwin Williams provided and got me equipped with the items I was in search of. Their sales rep Alejandro was very knowledgeable about the product line answering all my questions I had over their paint. I am looking forward to working with them again for any future projects.

Colour matching hell day!Home Depot Warner couldn't match their own "Coral Mantle" after 3x, gave up. Lowes, ditto after 3x.Sherwin Beach matched in 1 try, but only had sample paint, not exterior in quarts. Called around, this had quarts, stopped by with their own color match info printed on the receipt and matching sample paint to get a quart made. Also brought in the Sherwin Beach sample paint can that matched my paint.Quart was made quick in "All Surface Enamel", I asked if the colors would match perfectly, not darker like the other attempts. Was told yes. I took it at face value, didn't check.Home, painted the horizontal bar on the color chip (3 circular spots on upper area from lowes, 1 circular spot in lower right from Sherwin Beach)....and guess what???Sherwin FV didn't match their Sherwin HB color sample or my original paint.Wasted an hour driving back and forth. Then told that was the last quart, so no way to remake it right and had to get a refund and run to Ace Hardware Adams to get the matching exterior paint.

I needed two specific bright colors for a wall mural this morning so I stopped here. I didn't catch the name of the gal that helped me but she was awesome! They didn't have the base needed to make the colors I wanted in stock so she called a few other stores and directed me to a store 10 min away that had what I needed. She also printed me a coupon and told me to sign up for an account so I could get an additional 10% off every purchase. She was so sweet and super excited for me. Exceptional service!

Olivia was incredibly helpful! She spent a full 30 minutes helping guide us through our paint selection, and we are really happy with the results. Highly recommend for all your paint needs!

Called to order a couple of gallons of ProMar 200 contractor grade paint and was happy Ms Olivia assisted me!! She was knowledgeable and very nice! Rare these days for a paint company... I was impressed she had my order right the first time and ready for pickup as requested! We recommend this location for all your paint needs!

I pulled off the 405 because I had an emergency and needed to use the bathroom. I saw this business and I know that paint stores open early so I parked the car and ran in to use the bathroom. There were no customers in the store and only one employee. I asked the employee if I could use the bathroom and he told me no. I told him it was an emergency. He then told me somebody was in there and I said I'd wait. The truth is that nobody was in there and he repeated that I could not use the bathroom. I was so shocked to be treated like this. I will never again purchase this brand of paints.

If you want real customer service, honesty and integrity, don't shop at this store. I wished there was a rating lower than 1 star. The staff and management of Sherwin Williams store in Fountain Valley truly deserve a lower rating than 1. I feel very sorry for the owner of this location if he doesn't know what the manager and assistant manager are doing. I recently had the exterior of my house painted. My contractor said he only uses Sherwin Williams paints. He sent one of his painters to this store to pick up nearly 50 gallons of base paint and 10 gallons for trim paint. That is about 2000.00 just in paint plus all the supplies for my paint job. There was some unopened paint worth 45.00. I went there on Saturday 2-27-21 and spoke with the rude cashier lady and then the rude assistant manager-Diego. Although I had my receipt, he refused the return. I told him I just spent nearly 2000.00 in exterior paint and next week my contractor will buy more for my interior paint which would be another 2000.00. I asked him if 45.00 is worth losing the ongoing business of my contractor who use them only. Diego did not care. He said he will talk to his manager on Monday morning. He refused to call the manager on Saturday. I called this morning and talked to David-manager. He knew nothing about this. He said Diego is off today! Diego lied to me, did not leave a note for his manager about this and had no intention of talking to him about this small return. After talking to David-manager, it very obvious that the entire staff at this location is totally anti customer service. Knowing I spent thousands of dollars at his store, I had the receipt for this return, he refused to accept a 45.00 return and also did not care about losing future business of my contractor. David said his computer will not allow him to process this return! This is more about the principal of this matter than the 45.00. If you want real customer service, honesty and integrity, don't shop at this store.

So excited to go to Sherwin-Williams to pick out paint in Fountain Valley and was met with the worst sales young lady. She was afraid to help me and and stood six feet away and would not answer my questions. Why work in retail if you are so afraid to help people. I didnt get any help so I walked out and she sarcastically said, bye have a nice day. Sherwin-Williams lost my business. Don't go there for professional paint help. They lost a sale and a future customer. Zero stars

It's pretty clear that Sherwin-Williams the parent company just doesn't understand young people, *especially younger homeowners*.Went into this store to get some paint and everything just felt so old fashioned compared to some of the other paint brands I interact with. No virtual paint samples, no mobile order, poor matching - and an aggressive employee.I thought it might have just been my experience. Now today, I find out they also fired a guy over being passionate about their product and wanting to share that passion with the world. Ahh, it all makes so much sense now. This is an old fashion company for boomers.Gonna skip S-W, I'm going Glidden in the future.

Absolutely unacceptable!!! Today is Saturday and the store opens up at 8:00am (As advertised EVERYWHERE) A girl shows up literally 2 mins before 8am and sees me waiting at the door. She says, "sorry but the store doesn't open for another 15-20 mins." I pointed to the sign on the door and said, "It shows you open at 8am" She said "No, that's the time I clock in, I have to open the registers and that take at least 15-20 mins" Completely unacceptable but I thought ok whatever I'm here I guess I can shop for some extra painting supplies while (she opens up the register). She seemed like she was going to just close the door. So I asked, "Can I come in?" It was raining outside and they have hardly any covering. She said, "No you have to wait 15-20 more mins" Like are you serious!!!?????? I got her name, she said it was Olivia. I don't know if it's her fault if the store doesn't want to pay for those extra 15-20 before the store opens or if she was late. However I will tell you one thing it definitely felt rude regardless. I am outside the store writing this review and guess what I'm not going to shop at this store just because this place obviously does not care for your business. I have a painting company and love Sherwin Willams and came to this store because it's closest to the project we're working at today and guess what I'm no longer shopping at this store even if I my guys are painting the building next door! Rude!!! Would definitely not recommend this store!

I’m really upset about the customer service I received from the person that answered the phone at this store today 4:55pm I’ve been using Sherwin Williams for years and years and I never have any problem at any store. I asked the lady to make a gallon for me that I was 10 minutes away and to please leave outside by the front door cause I leave 2hrs away from there and she was very unhelpful even though it was going to be charged to my account. Well I won’t go to that store anymore and I won’t recommend to nobody to go more if u need help from them.
