We bought the 3-section Satellite Sofa in custom blue ?️ 4 years ago from the Costa Mesa showroom. The motor that moves the middle panel stopped working this year and we have not been able to get it repaired since October!! It is no longer under the 2 year warranty, but we are fine with paying the quoted price of around $300. A team from “Sofa Tech,” who did not speak English, was sent out to diagnose the problem 2 months ago. There was a crack in the plastic casing surrounding the middle motor.We paid about $150 for them to come out and diagnose this. They were also supposed to bring sofa cleaner from the warehouse which I ordered, but they did not bring any. Since then, there has been no follow up! I have called our Sales Rep Richard Alegre a couple of times and tried to follow up with the Customer Service Rep Briana Mendoza several times! She gives me nothing but lip service and a dead-end run-around. I told her that I would take my case to the Better Business Bureau. She said she would inform upper management, but never followed up. She did not provide me with the contact information for upper management as I asked 3 weeks ago.We were in love with the sofa, waited 6 months to get it, and thought it worth the very high price. But we have serious doubts about the quality of this company now. I will write Yelp & BBB reviews next. Perhaps it will attract the attention of management?

The only nice thing I can say about them is their designs are beautiful. The quality of their furniture is terrible and the customer service is worse. We've been trying to resolve problems with our barstools for months and months. They finally had a service crew come out to the house, unannounced, and went back to the shop. The next thing we heard was a voicemail about two weeks later informing us that the stools were out of warranty and they would provide us with prices to replace the bases. Two weeks later, we still don't know how much they are going to charge. My suggestion is look but don't buy.

The sales department is very helpful and created a 3-D image for me. However, after waiting six months my couch was damaged during delivery. It appears that it was cut when the box was opened. I have been trying for two weeks to get some action. They promised to either replace the couch or repair that section. But after multiple emails and phone calls I am still waiting. So they sell you the product and then turn you loose.

If it was allowed to give no star rating, I will choose that. Here is my experience with Roche Bobios in Beverly Blvd. Los Angeles. On Jan. 15 th 2022, I and my family vIsited their showroom for their Floor model sale. My salesperson was a young man Josue H,and Lorraine N ,manager of store. l , chose Pixl bookcase, a floor model, with 20% discount. Lorraine, added another 5% discount for being an existing customer. The floor model bookcase,was in inspected by myself and my family . The Pixl bookcase was in perfect condition. Purchase was completed, they added $ 350.00 for delivery and installation. Few days later items were delivered. But I noticed a big gash in one of the panels, which was not there in their showroom Model.I, sent an email to Josue with the picture of damaged part. But,He evaded my multiple phone calls and emails. Evetually, he responded, that I, had to call their delivery department and he is not responsible for damaged part. I, called delivery department, they said they are not responsible and call Josue. I, felt like a football being passed back and forth and nobody wanted to accept responsibility. Lorranie , the manager,left a message for me on a blocked caller ID, and asked me to call her back! Her office phone only asks to leave a message that she never returns. After multiple tries with no results , I, let them know, that, l, will ask American Express to investigate. She, Lorraine, sent me an email. Stating their sale is final, and I, should pay for repairs of damaged bookcase . As, you see, they show you a good,undamaged product. They send their damaged product from their storage, and demand, customer to accept it. They have audacity to ask customer to pay for repairing their damaged product. As of now, bookcase is in my house, they have not tried to respond to my complaint. so much for customer service and honest trade practice. Aram M.

Never ever buy from this store. Bought a coffee table and has been delay for four month and can't get money back. employees are super rude and hungry for money. They got your money and don't let them go.

Nonexistent customer service. They literally ran to the back as we walked in lol. It was pretty obvious how much they didn't want to help us or even look our way. They had some cool pieces, but we'll never consider buying here. Donc adieu!

Roche Bobois has a fantastic selection of unique, high quality contemporary furniture and I purchased a couple of items from them. Their service is pretty good, but not great. For example, there were lapses in communications. Moreover, they are a tad pretentious.

The worst customer service ever! Roche Bobois kept my money and the table that I ordered from them since December 2019! I still don't have the table and they have charged my credit card in full. I ordered the table on June 15, 2019. I have emailed, called, and stopped by Roche Bobois numerous times. Just empty promises...nothing else. Since I was going through divorce and didn't have anything in my house, I decided to hire them to design my family room, dining room, and kitchen area. Based on their design, I have purchased/ordered everything from them on June 15, 2019. On day of the delivery, December 2019, they couldn't assemble the ordered kitchen table since they ordered the wrong support bars. The delivery/assembly person and the designer were at my house at the time of delivery; they told me that it is a safety issue since it is a glass table and they cannot assemble it properly due to lack of parts. They had to take the table back and order the right size support bars. In addition, they talked about the size of the table being too large for the area. Note that they measured/designed my house and suggested the table with that size! Between December 20, 2019 and March 2020, I have seen the store manager, Ms. Matyna Trembinska, at least 6 times. I went to the store personally to talk to her to resolve this issue. In one of our earlier conversations, she said that she has a client with a similar issue that she gave him store credit for the furniture to pick another furniture and probably they can do that for me as well. She said she will talk to the store owner and it shouldn't be a problem. She did not follow up and I had to stop by the store again. During our conversation, she said that she talked to her boss regarding the issue and he said to her that "the client (me) is an adult and made a choice to buy this table"!!! Furthermore, she mentioned that she is going to try to sell the table in an upcoming warehouse sale and she will get back to me, which she never got back to me. Another disappointing matter here is that they had the audacity of saying that I did not spend 100K in their store! I remember in one of my numerous visits to the store, she said that she has a customer that is planning to buy $200K of furniture and if she can sell $200k, then her boss will probably will give me store credit. As always, she said she will get back to me! Well, she never got back to me. I have called and emailed Roche Bobois numerous times but no respond. Before, filling a dispute with my credit card, I called and emailed them for the last time but they never responded so I decided to file a dispute with my credit card in July 7, 2020 which it's still going on. I still don't have a table and I haven't got my money!

Initial store visit: greeted very pleasantly by a sales associate, who walked around the showroom and was able to detail some history and insight on their pieces. The initial visit was not with a scheduled appointment, but I felt as though I was treated and hosted well. Follow-up: During my second visit, I had a stronger bond with one of the other showroom designers, Xaviar. I requested to begin working with him. This request was only because he and I spoke the same language of art and design. The company and the prior sales associate were so graceful and kind towards this ask. They reassured me that my prior sales associate would not be disadvantaged because of this change. Home visit: The designers arrived with short notice. Made measurements, looked at color coordinations and spent a good 2 hours to design 2 rooms. Finalizing purchase: easy! Walk in and pay. They had printed my 3 D model images, prepared fabric samples and final products. They also had my favorite Italian coffee. I can't wait. I will update this post when shipment arrives.

We purchased a Nota Bene sofa on 6/29/18 under two and five years warranty. The couch was delivered to us from Italy on 11/08/18 approx. We paid 5,531.93, including taxes and delivery.The sofa is peeling. Where we sit and place our arms, there are no such wear and tear. The peeling appears next to the stitching, where it has placed more significant stress on the product and has caused the surface skin to peel. This is not normal wear and tear due to the peeling location and the very fact that it appears to be a surface layer delaminating from the leather. The sofa leather is peeling and turning gray on different angles of the edges.I contacted Richard Alegre, the sales representative at Roche Bobois Costa Mesa, via email and phone from April to June 2020 to get an exchange or full refund. He sent us to Maria at the warehouse to follow- up with their internal protocol. They sent a leather technician for assessment to our apartment unit. The technician came and stated "no repair" and sent the report to Roche Bobois. However, Roche Bobois refused to share the assessment outcome with us, saying they have internal protocols.Two months later, the general manager, Mattieu Pascalin, offered us to repair the cushions. We refused to accept a repair due to the low quality of this leather. We asked for an exchange of a fabric sofa or a full- refund.The general manager refused to offer an exchange or refund. The communication process with Roche Bobois has been misleading and not explicit. We want our full-refund and have them pick up the sofa.I wanted to add that I had discussions with an interior designer who expressed concerns with Roche Bobois that were never resolved. She revealed that RB has reportedly misrepresented its product origin. The leather is promoted as fine Italian leather, and she stated that they are known to use some leather products from China instead.They ignored BBB and won't support your warranty. Please find photos attached and see what they call "wear and tear" to a new sofa.
