Thanks to Hugo and the QB team for an expedited CS delivery on a new QB Hexflex 82 paddle. Very light and and responsive for Sup-surfing. Dig the diamond pattern shaft and grip. Dave Kalama's video and research were instrumental to my purchase!

I bought my first quickblade paddle a year ago, and have had a great time with it. Hugo is just a star and had me up and running with the right blade for SUP surfing. I was stunned by the new paddles "feel" and have had a significant amount of time with the paddle and it gets in and out of the water much quicker than my other paddles, and allows me to catch more waves. After a year I broke the paddle and the way Hugo handled the whole situation was fantastic. The customer service was just exactly what you want when you deal direct with the company. Thanks Qucikblade and Hugo you are both stars.

My first purchase was about 8yrs ago the trifecta. I have put through a lot especially surfing. I still have it, it has a little chip on the blade from the ref but it still hanging in there. Durable and strong. I have really flexed the shaft while surfing and it didnt snap. I purchased my second paddle just a few days ago. Hugo was very helpful and resonsive. I emailed them with a few questions and Hugo called me with in a day from when i sent the email. Very helpful with answering all my questions. I just received my second paddle couple days ago and its perfect. look fwd to getting in the water and in some waves. Mahalo nui loa to the QB 'ohana for setting me up with a great paddle. Malama pono, Aloha Kekahi i kekahi

I love my quick blade paddle. I have used it for 4 years and it has held up great! I couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend Jim and his team at Quick Blades.

Hugo is awesome. He was super prompt in answering all my emails. Switching to QuickBlade I wasn’t sure what sizing or model I wanted, Hugo was so helpful on the phone to help me find the right product. Definitely recommend the quality product and customer service.

I bought a V-drive 91 off a guy on Offer-Up, took it home and after 20 mins the Blade snaps in the water as seen in pics below. My cheap plastic paddle lasted longer than this. I asked quick blade if this is something they covered since it looks like it may have been defective but they wont do anything for me. They want me to go buy another blade from them brand new after the last one didnt last 20mins. No thank you!

In a previous dealing I had a very bad experience with the Owner of QuickBlade. I went direct to the factory instead of back to the vendor I purchased my paddle from after I had snapped the head of my Carbon fiber V-Drive and Jim would not cover the defective head under warranty. Jim and I could not see eye to eye that the blade broke under less than trying circumstances. Because I had used in in the surf (tiny conditions ONLY) J.T. would not warranty it, and I was forced to but a new V-Drive head on my handle which now became a VERY expensive paddle. I have been using a V-Drive Vector 81 for a couple of years now and love them for surf. Easy on the shoulders, and very durable. I needed a new paddle and came back into the QB shop on a Sunday and got to deal with J.T. again. Every one deserves a second chance and I blame my first dealing with Jim I believe, as to him being too prideful about his own work. He wasn't willing to just back down and see that his paddle may have just plain failed. Well this time Jim did the set up on my Vector 81 order for me to the length I asked for. We enjoyed a chat on the number of people he has helped with special conditions necessitating custom paddles. At the end of our dealing he asked if I wore hats and threw in a QB hat. Bottom line Jim is a good guy making a great product. This review replaces my scalding single star previous review, that is why only the 4 stars. Thanks QB, still my go to. KLT.

Today is 11/30/18 and I'm here at Quickblade picking up some awesome paddles. Jim, the owner is awesome. He put together a nice blade and shaft combo from his selection of blems. Great way to save some $$. Not sure why it says they are closed. They are good to go.
