Absolutely terrible service! NOBODY knows what is going on there. Every single time I call I get a different answer to the same question. They just keep transferring you to different departments then tell you that you need a prior authorization. Then you get denied. Nobody listens!!!! I spend hours on the phone with people that DO NOT know what they're doing. I've never seen anything like this in my life. It's not worth the aggravation.

Worked for a company, using OptumRX, left that company, working for new company also using OptumRX. Had a script filled using OptumRX at 1st employer, no problem. I attempted to fill script, using OptumRX with new employer, they want me to try other drugs before getting my refill. The Script cannot be suddenly stopped without experiencing withdrawal symptoms!!! FIGURE IT OUT OPTUMRX!!! ???

Front desk were super rude! We were running a little late to my son appointment. Thinking it was at 11:30. We were wrong it was at 11:20. I was so sure it was 11:30. Since I had it in my phone as that. Didn't get a reminder like I usually do with my other appointments. So I didn't think I was wrong. The front desk lady was like oh you past the time. I told her I was sure that it was at 11:30. She said she will check to see if they will still take me. I said that's fine. We were waiting on the OK to go up. Finally pediatrics office called and they were talking on the phone. She told them I was told it was 11:30. They began to talk softly but I could still hear. She was super rude. Then she began to speak in Spanish as if I wouldn't understand what they were talking about. I was very furious. She then said OK I will let her know. They told us that only one parent was allowed up. Which I understood the reasoning behind it, but why didn't they let us know this before we made the appointment. This whole situation was very uncalled for.

Worst Pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Waited over an hour on hold after they refused to send my injections to my doctor. Never use this place if you have a choice.

Horrible management .. i was there at 11:15 for my appt at 11:20 they checked me in an hour later i go and ask why i havent been called and i was told they did not put me in the system and due to being lunch time i was not able to be seen until 2pm ... im here waiting (im fasting also).

Everything you've heard about OptumRX reviews are true. OptumRx is the WORST prescription company ever. I've had a prescription for over 3.5 DECADES and after I turned 65 the co-pay tripled--all because OptumRX in-house pharmacists denied approval. I was told by Anthem that I'm stuck with OptumRX because that's the only company in my retirement plan. I've spent 2 days trying to talk to a supervisor with no luck yet. I'm actually on hold while writing this review. Argh!

The reason I can not give a higher score is due to the huge gap between the two floors from checkin where you get your temp taken and provided direction if passed to proceed to your destination and your dept destination. I had an apt at 2:15 , showed up at 2:10 pushing time I know... passed screening and proceeded to my destination upstairs to 2nd floor OBGYN dept. I waited for quit some time finally asking status they come back and said we have you down as a no show. So what happened to me signing in, the lady too the form showing my passing temp score and I'm a no show. I was annoyed at the situation even more annoyed that I asked status Vs a nurse or staff member ask "Have you been helped" after seeing me in the room that only authorized go to AFTER active screening. After in the room the staff were professional, friendly, and attentive.

One of the worst mail order pharmacy I have ever experienced. The mail order medication never comes on time and you are left stranded with no medication. Understand that the us mail is not reliable but this company is so cheap saving lots of money for its board members by not using a reliable mail delivery party for the patients' medications. Shame on you, where is the government. Their customer service staff, supervisors and managers are useless in the true sense of the word and do nothing. I have ripped them in my evaluation and still do not care. I spent hours on the phone with them i with no results other than words of apologies. Oops let me take a pill of apology perhaps if can heal me. my medication did not arrive and they have the guts to tell me to wait another week and then want to send a new refill with a new charge. This was not my fault people. Get real. Shame on this mail order system and Optum RX the pharmacy. Yet, they hold me hostage by not transferring my script to my local pharmacy. The pharmacists have no desire to help the patient: where is their professionalism and decency and their oath of service, ethics & responsibility My best advice: forget the mail order pharmacy and keep your prescriptions at the local pharmacy. Who cares about saving money for Optum executives. I dare you call me or contact me. I am ready for you to rip you and your excuses apart. Keep hiding and collecting illegal money under the table OptumRx. Thank you. Don't believe me, join the Optum experience. Good day.

It's unbelievable that this company is able to dispense medication as they are some of the most incompetent fools I have ever dealt with. My insurance (a whole different can of assholery) is forcing me to get a script through Optum's "specialty" pharmacy. It's been several weeks and I can't get any answers from a single person. To start, they sent me letters dated the same day both confirming AND denying coverage and then can't tell me which is correct, and then told me they didn't send the letters! Ok, so someone is sending s*** out on your letterhead for fun? I'm on my 5th call, and every time I'm transferred at least 3 times and most times "disconnected". I'm told (by varied people) they don't have the script, it's an insurance problem, everything is fine and I should have it and so much more. None of these things are true. If you actually need your meds, fight your insurer on having to use this shitshow of a "provider". My script was ordered 7/6 and it's 7/22 with no end in sight. F****** morons, each and every one.

TERRIBLE PBM!!! Since my group has switched to OptumRx from Caremark, I've had to have multiple of my family's meds go through "prior authorization," and I've spent more time on the phone in the last month and an half with OptumRx than I spent in the entire 3 years with Caremark!

The "Specialty" Pharmacy arm of Optum Rx...aka "Briova Pharmacy" is the WORST F****** Phone-Order Pharmacy IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our Health Insurance carrier...United Healthcare...has required me to use them for the past 5 years...and EVERY, SINGLE, 90 DAYS.....They SCREW UP my prescription Refill Order. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!!! There has not been ONE refill order in 5 YEARS that has been filled correctly or without some MORON on the other end of the phone who either can't find my account, or can't run the insurance through correctly, or can't process an order correctly! HOW F****** HARD CAN THIS BE??? Rats in a LAB Jar could do better than these Morons!!!!!!!!!! It is utterly ridiculous!

I agree with those that say this is the worst company ever! I have tried to escalate my problems to a supervisor after the customer service people can't ever answer my questions properly. The supervisor was suppose to investigate my problem and call me back but never did. I gave them a 1 rating phone survey which triggered someone to call me to ask why. I told that person my problems and she said she would use it as “coaching†and she reports to “leadership†and would make sure I got a response. Still nothing even after that. This company could care less about their customers. My prescriptions use to be seamless with Express Scripts. Noting but issues since my company moved to Optum.
