I live in Costa Mesa and needed some work done on my 04 Duramax. I came across Nextruck met with Mark and have been a loyal customer ever since. That was 15 years ago. I now have a 2017 Sprinter Van. I'm pretty diesel savvy and Mark has never let me down. Had some codes come up with van and took it to over there. Mark was honest with me saying he didn't know what one of the Mercedes codes was. After some research he called me back let me know. Another issue I had was, the glow plugs needed replacement and one was seized in the head but he took care of that with no problem. The work that they have done over the years for me has been great! They're consciencous, Mark makes sure I understand what he is doing and they use OEM parts as much as possible. I STRONGLY recommend them to anyone looking for a diesel mechanic

Visiting from NorCal and my Dodge diesel truck decided it couldn’t make the trip home without some mechanical help (i.e.: stuck in a parking lot with a fried starter) Made a few calls and NexTruk was clearly the best choice just based on the phone call. Dwayne got me in the door on a busy Friday and Mark went way over and above to get me back on the road. Absolute A++ experience. Super professional, fair price, great communication and advice. Definitely recommend NexTruk!Service: Electrical

Completely satisfied with Nextruk's service of my Ford Diesel. I would never bring my truck anywhere else. These guys are competent, efficient and cost effective. A great company.

This place is awesome! My truck took a while but this was due to a lack of parts. Brian literally spent 4 hours calling nationwide for parts. No BS because I myself spent two hours calling for parts with no luck. He found my kit in Illinois and had it shipped. I know the price of parts and they were 100% fair on that as well. The owner Mark is a good dude. A real straight shooter. I've tackled 80% of the issues on my 2012 6.7 Powerstroke and for this job I just didn't have the time. Nor did I want to learn how to program injectors. Being that I know a lot about my truck, my mechanic Steve explained his work and I knew he knew his s**** I was so impressed that he took the time to walk me through his work, on a few occasions when I stopped in. Mark, Steve needs a raise. He's a great mechanic and passionate about his work. The job was pricy but comparable to 3 other quotes. I picked these guys because they were close but I'd drive or have my truck towed to these folks from almost anywhere. I'd recommend Nextruk to a friend. I'll be back for them jobs I don't have time to do myself. Thanks again guys awesome work.

Extremely Poor communication between shop and customer, work was done without prior consent and then invoiced, painfully long wait times, and higher prices than other shops. Shop around.

100% recommend Nextruk. We struggled finding a diesel mechanic in the greater Orange County area and found a FAMILY with Mark and Duane at Nextruk. From the start they gave us a chance to talk things through, decide the best course of action and ensure safety in our vehicle. The installed a brand new engine, fixed our rear end, brakes, air conditioning and the list goes on. It's a one stop shop for almost everything and most importantly, they build a relationship with you. You pay for quality work and you pay for something that will last, and Nextruk stands strongly by their work.

We paid more than 10 000 dollars and it took 4 month to get it back. We were loosing money every day, but the truck was just staying in the shop and no-one was working on it.

Paid this shop $10 000 or more trying to fix the truck. Took about 5 month, because no-one was actually working on the truck. Truckers can understand what is the result of such a long wait - we lost way more money. This is not acceptable. There are so many good shops for such a price (including the dealer). We have a fleet of 10 trucks and growing. Bad you lost your client.

Just thought I would update quality of work. Having to go through and redo the labor myself because #1 they pinched wire harness between frame and bed. That resulted in an electrical system failure burning out the alternator and good stuff like that. #2. Fuel line was also pinched between the frame and the bed and this is what it was there for was fuel issues. In the process of lifting the bed to get these out from under it two of the six bolts were tight good job broke one of the gas tank straps left it there hanging good job. The electrical first. he told me to bring it in and let them take a look at it. Absolutely not would they ever be working on my truck again would I take it back to them just screw it up again. He had the nerve to that asked me if I knew what a hose clamp was when he had the fuel pumps out the only reason he had my truck because I had nowhere to do it I was a licensed mechanic for a long time. People like him I won't give mechanics a bad name. So after small claims I'm going to have to go cuz he charged me way too much to screw up my truck didn't even offer a dime back

If I could give this place less than one star I would. Took my truck in as it was the place the previous owner had used for years and swore by. Maybe it's because I'm a girl and he (Mark) thought he could swindle me but he gave me an estimate for over $4,000 worth of work and said is was urgent these repairs needed to be made. He couldn't provide me with any specifics as to what the repairs were and said he would get back to me. Weeks went by and I never heard anything. So I called them- after a lengthy back and forth and them trying to find the Invoice (the office is a mess) with the list of repairs he told them to me over the phone. And again quoted me over $4,000. They wanted me to bring the truck in immediately as again these repairs were urgent and then I'd have to leave it for a week at least. Immediately my suspicion was up so I took the truck in for a second opinion. NOT ONE of the issues I was quoted was a legitimate repair that was needed for my truck. Instead of spending over $4,000 I spent $67 on new filters (which were the only things that needed to be changed) and my truck is stilling running with no issues over a year later. I will never go back to Nextruk nor will I recommend it to anyone else.

I took my Truck into Nextruk a few years ago(2015), I had issues with my 2008 Freightliner, that i had just purchased new, and the DP(Diesel Particulate) filter for smog requirements. My experience was not good and extremely expensive. I also had an air leak which needed to be looked at as well. First problem is they have no space, so it's the rubic's cube parking job, and double or triple the time they say it will take. After cleaning my DP filter, and "baking" it, i still had the problem, then after bringing it in again, and having it take another couple of weeks, I was informed by Mark that i needed all new injectors, and after that repair and them finally figuring out my air leaks, AGAIN, I was out 25K!!!! The worst part was, after I left, within 2 years I had the same problem, and my engine eventually wouldn't run, because the DP filter stopped working and the engine went into "Protect mode". I vowed never to take it back, and had it towed to the freightliner dealer, where they told me, I needed "NEW" injectors, AGAIN, and i had driven less then 10k in miles! I paid them 12k more to put in new injectors and I have not had a problem since. I looked into hiring an attorney because of this, but decided I didn't want to spend a bunch more on attorney fees, and i just wrote it off on a horrible recommendation to go there from a friend. I sent an email detailing that i needed new injectors after 2 years, and the price i paid them for repairs, and i never received a response. The final straw, and the reason I'm writing this review is I worked with a guy just recently, who just informed me that he had the same problem just recently with them, took three times longer then he thought, and cost him much more then he thought to have a clamp put on his turbo and new alternator belts, and it was over 2K. I would never, ever, recommend them, go to your local dealer, might cost more, but it will be done correctly, and much faster, and the problem will be fixed, the first time.
