Worst customer service and their shoes are not a good representation in their boxes. The last pair they had I wanted but it had a stain. The person helping me (did not get his name, but was really tall kid) was not really into helping me. I asked if I can place an order with him online. He said yes, but then asked me to take a picture of the box/info and walked away. He didn't help me with the order online, another employee did. I ordered the shoes on 6/23/24 and still no info or email. I tried to track # from receipt online and I was told the store and online systems do not communicate, if I did not order them online I needed to contact the store where they were ordered. South Coast you need to do better with these stores and employees. Should had gone to Nordstrom's like I originally wanted to go. Last time shopping at this store.

Experienced the worst customer service!!
Seems like the sales associates do not want to work. I had to look for the associates, when they were just standing at the corner chi chatting. When I ask for help, they gave an attitude like they do not want to be bothered. Your job is to help customers!!!

They picked up the phone when I called. Nearly unheard of any more. Verified a specific shoe and size in stock; awesome. Drove down, picked up, in and out in minutes.
Very helpful young lady on 9/22/2024 and I wish I had grabbed her name. Pretty sure she has also answered the phone call.
Already NB fan, five stars for the service.
I recommend the Made in USA M990v6. I find they last longer and fit better.

I forgot to get her name but the girl with blonde hair who helped me today (9/3/2024) was sooo nice and helpful, she laced like 4 shoes for me, let me try on 6 pairs, and searched up different shoes for me online!!! i love her, this was some of the best customer service i ever experienced

I always thought that New Balance shoes are for old people, but I decided to come with my husband to check out this place. I saw a cute pair of shoes but I thought to myself I want a good support and with style. I talked to Andy, who is very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with me. After a week of walking in these shoes, the shoes are light and my feet does not hurt after 12 hours on them. I’m glad Andy took the time to help me find the perfect shoe for myself.

Just left the store after buying some shoes and a sweater. The store is nice and offers a good selection. However, the staff is pretty dry. The red head girl in the store has no personality. I asked her to bring out 3 shoes for me. She drops them off doesn’t ask if I need socks, doesn’t open the box and loosen the shoe laces whatsoever and doesn’t even ask me how they fit or anything. She sees me walking around with the shoe I want to purchase and still doesn’t offer to hold it up front while I look around. Mind you the store isn’t even busy, so there no excuse for the lack in customer service. The staff here brings the vibe of the store down.

Michelle has to be the worst customer service here. She is so rude and was not helpful at all when mentioned I was confused on sizing. I have been here three times already and her attitude always makes it unenjoyable.

Worst customer service experience ever. I’ve never seen associates be so self involved with their own conversations that they can’t help customers. I needed help figuring out my sizing and I had to ask three times in three different ways because the girl sales associate was just not listening. I ended up leaving without buying the shoes I wanted because their bad attitudes and stuck up personalities made the whole experience suck.

First let me say I’m a senior citizen. I entered this store knowing exactly what shoe and size I wanted. After being avoided by the sales staff I cornered a young man and told him what I was looking for. He disappeared into the back room for over ten minutes and kept ducking in and out of there without making any follow up contact with me. Realizing I wasn’t going to be helped, I left the store and purchased my desired shoe online. As I age I’m noticing an unwillingness by young salespeople to serve older customers. Store owners might want to address this and explain commerce.

Gutted phoned about some new trainers out told me I could collect next day then when arrived couldn’t release them even when I explained what had happened and that I had come out of my way before our flight home - still stuck to guns and would not let me get them. Crazy as they were in the shop ?
