The customer service from the salespeople was excellent but the one star is for their engraver. I brought my pen in to get engraved and it was messed up twice. The clamp left marks on the pen the first time. They exchanged it for a new one to be engraved and it was messed up again with the same issue the second time. This is unacceptable for a higher end store.

1. I didn't care about the asian man' s attitude, when I dropped off my pen for repair. I was told 6 days or so for repair.2. Two weeks later I called and asked when will it be ready. A lady asnswered and said, "oh no, 6 weeks to 8 weeks.3. I was on my way back toward home the same day and about 4 hours after I had called. Received a text that my pen is ready. I live 75 miles away and had to come back a whole week afterward to pick up my pen.4. They did an EXCELLENT job fixing my pen for $95.I expect a much better service from a spactacular name like Montblanc, altbough the job was very well done.

Bad experience , I am trying to exchange the pen refill cause the size is not right. I totally understand I can not exchange or return if there is some condition issues, but the guys mentioned three times they can not take it back because they can not resell it. I do not know resell is only for refill or everything they have, but I bought couple thing before and I worry that I got some items are good condition RESELL product. It makes this brand unbelievable, no body want to spend couple hundred or more for a Second hand brand new stuff. I give one star cause there is no zero.

I purchased a pen as a gift for my friend in the other department store, but after that I found out they can’t offer engrave service, then I had to contact with Montblanc online customer service see if there’s any option for me to get help with my engraving. They first offered me a third party company but the paper work was so complicated I can’t understand and no one picked up the phone when I tried to reach out, so I had no choice except walked into the boutique. Long for short, there was a guy named Hien(or Ian) who helped me for this, OMG he is definitely a god send, I explained what was happening with the online service then I had to walk into store (because I felt so bad that I didn’t purchase from him / boutique but he still needs to help me for the engraving) he was so nice and so helpful, explained everything and apologized for the bad online service(I mean he doesn’t need to) and took the pen back( tips: the fee is pretty much cheaper compared to the third party) About a week, it supposed to be my pick up day for the engraving but he called me ahead of that said the machine was broken and he was not able to finish the engraving on time, and week later as today, he followed up with me as 2nd time. To be very honestly, I know he wouldn’t even earn 1 penny commission from this service, but the way he treat customer as a professional, is so sweet and decent. Montblanc should be proud of him and the store is so lucky to have him. I strong recommend him if anyone needs any montblanc. And I definitely will back to him once I needed anything. Thank you again and see you soon. And, I understand online shopping is easier for life But next time I will still go to boutique instead of online, luxury is about the service and experience not just convenience.

I went with my friend to buy some ink last Saturday. This young lady said hi how are you to the other party (family of 3) but we thought she was talking to us and replied good how are you as any normal person would do. This lady rolled her eyes and quickly walked pass us so she can go help the other party. I don't know if this was a racist issue since my friend and I are Asians and the other party was white. I hope she is not racist since there are lots of Asians in the community but it felt like I happen to run into a racist. We were helped by a gentleman in store but I just can't get over it. She really didn't have to roll her eyes at us

If I could give this a zero star, I would!!! I went in and asked the sales people if there was a money back return on this product and they said yes if it is within 20 days. I went in multiple of times and asked multiple sales people and they all said the same thing. My girlfriend brought me the pen as a birthday gift as a surprise and when I tried to return the pen, they said it is only an exchange. I had called within the 20 day grace period. I will never recommend this product to any one and suggest you do not purchase this for any one either. Overpriced and sales people lie to make a sale. I did not even get a receipt.

I came in today ( 01/01/2022 at 4:35pm), the lady in the front was looking at me like ( poor person can never buy this here). She did not even smile at all, seemed like we were begging for her attention . You were dead wrong lady. Good luck to your owner to keep you here.

Really poor service for such a fine product and a premium price. I've purchased 6 pens from This store over the last 8'ish years ... the last time I went in, they (2 staff members) acted as though they were doing me a favor by allowing me to view their pens. Left without buying anything. I will purchase online from now on.

One of my favorite boutiques to visit at South Coast Plaza. Amazing store and very friendly staff always. I love Montblanc, their emphasis on quality is a common thread throughout every single item they make. This is what I like about this brand.
