I'm writing this review to express my disappointment with my recent visit to Mercado - Northgate Market. I purchased seven tamales to go and, as is customary at many locations, asked for some salsa. To my surprise, the worker provided me with the smallest 1oz container of salsa--something that would typically suffice for one tamale, but certainly not for seven. When I inquired if this was the only salsa included, she confirmed and mentioned that I would need to purchase a larger portion if I wanted more.
While I understand the workers are simply following store policy, this is totally out of the norm and quite disappointing. This store, which is new to the area, has usually been excellent with samples and customer service, so this was unexpected. I don't expect this type of service from Northgate, especially given the store's reputation and the glowing reviews it's received on social media.
As someone who has been a loyal customer, spending thousands of dollars here over countless visits, this experience makes me seriously question whether I'll be returning. I hope the management reconsiders this policy, as it does not align with the high standards that Northgate Market is known for.

I felt like I was in Mexico again. Good prices on food. GREAT bar with substantial margaritas en las rocas. Friendly staff. Loved it.

This is more of an elevated Mexican cuisine, with reasonable prices. Both the food and service are outstanding. They also have a full bar with several margarita flavors and a decent beer and wine list. We've been here twice over the past couple of months. We'll definitely be coming back again.

ITS HUGE! Lets talk variety too. They have restraints inside of restraints. Tortilla factory as well as a massive bakery. Live music sometimes as well as great prices.

We came here for the first time and then immediately made plans to come back again two days later. The food is so good! The fresh tortillas are amazing. It's just a cool place to walk around and check everything out. We haven't gotten the churros yet, but we did get dinner at Maizano and we were really impressed with everything we had there.
