Be very careful ordering from McGee & Co.! I ordered a $400 stool that was truly an awkward feeling, lumpy piece of furniture. After contacting the company about my disappointment in the quality and comfort of the product they advised that no returns will be offered on furniture items regardless of quality or customer satisfaction. I asked for an option of returning the unused, still in the box piece for simply company credit or if there was an option to visit with a manager or someone who may be able to assist further and the communication from the company stopped completely.I have ordered rugs and other pieces from McGee that I have enjoyed, but I will never choose to order again as it is too big of a risk to order something from a picture that a company will not stand behind. It is also interesting that the website does not show customer reviews on furniture pieces that would give an indication of quality and customer satisfaction for a better buyer experience. I would suggest that you think very carefully about ordering from this site.

6+ months and counting for a $420 lamp I ordered that was on back order. I knew it was on back order but this entire time not once has the team reached out on their own and given a status update. I’ve had to reach out each time which is a direct contradiction to what their website states. Do better.

I recently worked with Greta Carse and Leslie McMahon for Studio McGee's Holiday Party. They were so lovely to work with and I truly enjoyed their partnership. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

I ordered simple small Christmas ornaments back the beginning of October. The items ordered said 5-7 business day for shipping. At least double that and I hadn’t heard anything. I reached out and they said they were overhauling their shipping/fulfillment center with a new company and it was causing many delays, but my order was in the queue to ship in another 10 business days and they’d kindly offer me a 10% discount since I had been waiting so long. Why on earth you would choose to update your whole shipping and fulfillment right before the holidays is beyond me. I got an email yesterday that my items were finally shipped. They arrived the next morning and I see that the fulfillment center where they came from is literally 10 minutes away from my house. The box was a used box that had the McGee and co tape on it, but it had clearly been opened and my items were put inside and the box was taped with clear packing tape. The ornaments were all bubble wrapped well, but some of them were still bent which tells me they put it in the box bent since it literally came from down the street and the box was undamaged. I guess I’m glad they finally arrived like 6 weeks later, but I feel for the people who order any Christmas decorations in November because you will not be getting them before the year ends. Most annoying experience I’ve had in a long, long time. And honestly the ornaments are really cheap quality but I’ll keep them because I don’t want to deal with the hassle of dealing with this company again.

Horrible experience with McGee and co and I won’t ever use them again. Waited for over five months for a cabinet that was back ordered (twice) and delivered damaged (also twice!). After the second damaged delivery, I canceled and ordered the same product from pottery barn. Pottery barn shipped it immediately and it arrived in perfect condition. The worst part about the experience is that I had to beg Mcgees customer service to get on the phone with me (they wouldn’t for weeks fyi). And when they finally called, couldn’t do a darn thing about anything.

I have not yet received my any update on my claim and it’s been almost a month to have a new replacement for a broken Darcy cabinet. Customer service doesn’t follow up and I have to constantly email to ask. It’s so disappointing to have to wait for another 6-8 weeks for this. I was told claims take 2-3 weeks and then shipping up to 8 weeks. Why pay 1000s of dollars to wait for almost half a year? What makes it worse is they didn’t even offer to expedite this process nor waive the pricey moving fee.

Do NOT purchase furniture from their website. This will be the First and last time we ever order from them.Purchased 6 dining chairs in May (for $$$) and knew it would take 6-8 weeks for it to arrive. When it got close to the date it was supposed to be shipped out, we received an email saying it’s been delayed. I had to reach out multiple times to check in on shipment FOR WEEKS and EACH time I did, customer service said it was delayed even further. When Furniture finally arrived at the end of August, one of the dining chairs is completely broken. Instead of offering to ship out the replacement asap and also give a refund of some sort, they gave me the option of getting the refund OR to ship out the chair. Obviously I still need the one chair because it’s a dining room set. I was deeply disappointed, but I still chose the chair. I got an email from Customer Service saying they will let me know when there’s an update. About a few weeks later, I finally get an update, saying that the chair will be sent out, but it is back ordered and will not arrive until November. I’ve called the customer service line multiple times and no one picks up, and even left voicemails with no response. Everytime I look at these beautiful dining chairs, I get angry and think about the poor customer service. I’m not sure what’s going on with the company, but if you consistently are getting the same feedback from customers, you should do something about it. I wish I had checked reviews prior to purchasing.

First and Last order with Mcgee and Co.We had the Laura sideboard purchased for us as house warming gift that we were so excited about. The item was scheduled for delivery after 8 weeks of shipping and wait time. When it arrived it was the wrong item (not even relatively close to what we ordered)We have been back and fourth with support for 5 WEEKS now just trying get our furniture with no resolution. First they couldn't find the item, now we are waiting for the delivery company to call us to schedule delivery and so fourth.Mcgee and co customer service has been mediocre at best and only responding when we send emails ( which is every week to follow up) and with little to no explanation or ETA of when we can expect our item. This issue to is still on going and will update with a resolution. (whenever that may happen) but for moving forward I will not order anything again from them. Just sad and disappointing.UPDATE as of 6/12/2023- I still have not heard from a manager on this issue (as they stated in the response from the owner I would) we still have not received our sideboard nor have we received any "substantial" update on where it is, when we can expect for it be delivered. 6 weeks, going on 7 weeks with no resolution.

I ordered 2 chairs and they both arrived with their chair legs missing! This was 3 weeks ago...still no legs, still can't use the furniture after 17 weeks of wait time. There seems to be no urgency on solving the problem of the missing chair legs.

UPDATE: to respond to the comment back by McGee, we have multiple items ordered in the past and currently have an item purchased over 4 months ago that’s been delayed multiple times. It’s a rug. Match that info up with Adam D and see what you find.Anyone giving over 1 star I will assume hasn’t actually purchased anything from here. 90% of anything we’ve purchased takes many months to be delivered. They certainly take the money from you immediately though, then don’t care about delivery. They just keep pushing the already delayed delivery date back over and over and just shift the blame to suppliers/other issues.

I ordered the Faris Bed “READY TO SHIP” and paid over a $1,000 extra for the ready to ship one so that it would be here in time. The website said 6-8 weeks, it’s been over that and still no bed and also no updates. Now they don’t know when my bed will be here.Having a customer pay over $1,000 dollars to ensure that something will be here in time, and then not, is completely ridiculous. I want my bed to be shipped and expedited immediately.

I love this store! They make great pieces! They may take a while to get they're but totally worth it! I may be a little biased since the owner Shea McGee is the best interior designer the world has ever known and will know but I think that they deserve 5 stars!

WILL NEVER BUY FROM MCGEE AND CO AGAIN. Would give zero stars if I could. Long story short, they shipped my order with a missing item, I reached out and asked for the missing item to be shipped out and they assured me it would be shipped out within the week, did follow up emails daily to assure it was actually being shipped and almost 2 months after the fact, they just emailed me to say “well sorry this didn’t get shipped out but it’s now out of stock and we have no idea if we will get anymore” The missing item was apart of a 2 piece set and now all I have is one of the two pieces due to their problem.
