We are very new to Loro Piana. The quality and design are very superior compared to other LVMH brands. Also there are no visible logos on the ready to wears so if you like low profile clothes, this is a great choice. The store has very friendly associates, Maxmara is too salesy compared to Loro Piana. Our sales associate is Silvia. We tried on a lot of items and she helped us with transferring items from east coast to the store in short notice. She always offered us H2O on every visit even with no purchase history or profile. Finally bought a few items from Silvia. She was very sincere helping us and gave us some cloth balls. So if you are shopping for a coat, sweater, or walking shoes, come to Loro Piana, skip Hermes and Maxmara South CoastPlaza.

I've passed this location many times while visiting South Coast, but never stopped in. (Partly due to the fact that I believed it was a men's only store.) Recently I found a cashmere silk blend sweater at an outlet store and discovered it was a Loro Piana, but the sweater wasn't my size. That sparked my curiosity and I decided to visit the boutique at SCP the next time I was there. It's on the second floor of the main building, next to Alexander McQueen and Louis Vuitton. Whenever I've walked by, it's never busy. Parking options include multiple flat lots and structures. Typically you can find a spot to park. When I stopped in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and they let me browse on my own. One girl did share that there was a sale going on and showed me the areas where I could find the sale items. I did try on a few things, but nothing caught my eye during this visit. They are very pricey, but the sweaters are all made in Italy of natural materials like cashmere, wool, and cotton. They're meant to be life-long staples in your closet if you take good care of them. Additionally, they have a custom sweater/knitwear option open to anyone where you can choose the style, material, and color of the sweater, and it will be made to fit you. (You may also add embroidery for your name or initials, if you wish. I believe that you do not have to have purchasing history if you want a custom piece, unlike some brands who require you to have a long buying history to request something custom.)

I love Loro piana, especially their baby cashmere coats. I do think their style never gets too old and I probably don't even need to talk about the super high quality materials they use. Whenever I wear Loro Piana, I always get asked, "who is the designer?". I feel like many ppl don't recognize (or know) the brand but "EVERYONE" can notice the sophisticated and luxury look this brand has ; and I love that! When I went into this store , I was greeted with a nice smile. As I was browsing I was left alone so I could shop comfortably, yet the sa was staying close enough in case I needed something. That is perfect for me. This store is not where I shop usually. It was actually my first time visiting this specific LP boutique. However, I know it wont be my last :) I will definitely be back!

It's LP, everything goes well when it's the REAL cashmere, boys and girls!! Not the cheap stuff from the other land!! However, my Yoda looks especially beautiful and handsome with LP. Don't you think? I love LP, and what's not to love, right? Yes, I highly recommend LP for all of your waredrobes!!

I had to make a few visits to this Loro Piana branch for some outerwear and ready-to-wear garments. The products speak for themselves. The quality is purely immaculate with fabrics ranging from vicuña to baby cashmere. I personally believe that the quality is on a similar caliber as Hermès...perhaps arguably even surpassing the renowned French fashion house. My first few visits were not as pleasant as some associates were unattentive. However, I commend Ryan Tuazon for his professionalism and his assistance adjusted my thoughts on the overall customer service. Throughout the buying process, he was eager to find the proper sizes and offered insightful recommendations on an array of garments. He really went the extra mile and I appreciated that. I would advise working with Ryan for your future Loro Piana needs.

If you are on the hunt for sophisticated and well-made garments, Loro Piana should be on your shortlist. The first garment I owned with a Loro Piana label was actually a collab they did last winter season with Brooks Brothers and it is easily the grandest Downtown Coat I have ever owned. The fabric, the stitching, the hardware & styling... everything was a work of art. Since then, I have stopped at this location twice; once to pick up an insulated vest for a trip back out east and another to snatch up a quality scarf to go with the Downtown Coat. Neither of the products fell short of the quality I now come to expect from Loro Piana. Yes, you are damn right it is an expensive brand. But the cost per wear is low as these items are built like tanks and will last you for a decade with proper care where a similar piece from say, Hugo Boss or Calvin Klein will look like garbage in less than 50 wearings and completely fall apart at some point sooner making the value proposition in favor of this luxury brand. Plus Loro Piana looks so much sharper. It really is a no-brainer. The service is about what you would expect at any high-end purveyor in fashion house wing of South Coast Plaza and that means the salespersons will be all over you if they think you are a serious buyer and probably won't be very helpful if you come in with an OP tank top, board shorts, and flip flops on - whether that is good, bad, or indifferent I will leave for you to judge. Loro Piana is my go-to for outerwear going forward.
