I really regret not checking the reviews before deciding to come here. Honestly, if I wanted to feel invisible and dismissed, I could have saved myself the trip and stayed home. Sure, the selection of items is spot-on, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I spotted a few things I was interested in buying, but the complete lack of attention and avoidance from the staff made me seriously reconsider giving them my business. I mean, seriously, it's 2024. Isn't basic customer service supposed to be a given by now?

Mostly western wear which was fine but damn the staff look unhappy. It was definitely an unwelcoming environment and they could use some vintage cheer. “Hey there, welcome to Landers. If I can help you please just let me know” please pass onto staff.

I stumbled upon lander's after spacing out and looking to my left at the red light leaving the salvation army across the street .. holy cow !! (since it's western themed) It's a decent set up but might as well be self serve since the workers completely disregard you . I was pretty much rubbing elbows with the employees as they yapped away talking to each other about their plans for the night ... insane . Not to mention the prices ... get ready to pick up your jaw up from the floor . I'm convinced the 5 star reviews are from their own buddies because no way on gods green earth does this place deserve 5 stars .. First and last time coming here . Snobby vibes as soon as you walk in . Y'all gotta get off y'all's high horse. How's that for western themed ? Seriously though , There's many more spots in Costa Mesa literally down the street ... sheeesh .

Love the vibe, but it's a vintage shop so it's pricey, like comparable to buying brand new. Definitely some great finds in there though.

The aesthetic of the store is very fun and western themed. The music played a huge role in that, the sweet smelling candle at the entrance was a nice touch. Their selection of clothes are beautiful but very pricey. A t-shirt was $50 which surprised me. I'm going to try not to place any harsh judgments on that because I know the store needs to make a profit but... wow. The staff was not very welcoming. I was not greeted and ignored the whole time. There were 4 workers, two behind the counter chatting very loudly & the other two were running around setting up mannequins. Not one worker said a word to me or asked if I needed assistance. Overall, I do think I would come again for the ambience of the store and the curation of items.

Boooo thumbs down on service there bud. Non friendly staff, overpriced items like brand new key overalls (brand new $50, priced at $148). I love vintage shops but this is more of a poser factory than "vintage wear" maybe try selling on depop.

I was so excited to visit Landers with my daughter for the first time. I was shocked at how rude the two staff were. They didn't greet us, which is normal these days, but when I asked a question both of them looked at me like I was bothering them. They barely shook their head yes. I felt so uncomfortable. Both staff were engaged in conversation about the music while they leaned on top of the jewelry case and barely moved when my daughter wanted to look at a piece. Then the one staff member got right in her phone and barely looked up to help anyone. I told my daughter to put her clothes down and we were leaving. We will never be back. So sad.

The employee was disrespectful and assumed we were stealing. They could have at least greeted us before being rude. When we walked outside to leave the employee asked “I’m going to need that back-“ referring to the our purchase from Salvation Army. My friend and I had our receipts and offered to show them but the employee just walked away. I understand the misunderstanding but an apology or kindness would have been nice. Bad service and expensive prices, I recommend supporting business that show their customers basic human decency.

J love the entire vibe and design of the shop. The prices are fair for well kept vintage items. The owner was rad to visit with, it's nice to see individuals proud and involved in local business. Thank you for such a rad store! Will be back

Definitely my go-to for leather goods, but the staff is slacking. Even when I struck up conversation she hardly looked up from her phone, never offered to help, basically grunted in response to questions. Lame.

If your website and google says you open at 11 then you should open at 11 not 12. It's frustrating driving an hour to get there and then the store not be open. Update your hours

I really tried hard to like this place but honestly most of the items are just overpriced. Most of their inventory you can find at your local goodwill or Salvation Army. They were even charging $60 for a worn out t-shirt with the sleeves cut off. I get that the area is expensive but the prices they were charging for the quality of items available was just ridiculous. It's a nice shop I guess and the staff were really friendly which was a plus. But if you're coming for their inventory alone, you can find better deals elsewhere imo

Just went in, was really impressed with how beautiful it was inside, loved so many of the pieces. I saw 4 employees and not one said anything to me, (which I was also 1/2 customers in the shop). Which is disappointing for a boutique style shop that is expensive. I was looking for a few specific items, and the staff weren't approachable. I probably would have spent a few hundreds dollars here if I didn't feel so unwelcomed

Rare one of a kind items that remind me of home. Right here in socal. I paid my first visit today and only had an hour before they closed. I have to go back tomorrow when they open. I love this place. It's pricey but it's worth it!
