This place was great value and super yummy! The nigiri sushi and rolls are really good (preferred over sashimi) and same with the robata. Staff and atmosphere are nice too. Plus it’s mostly Asians dining so you know it’s legit :)

Hachi is outstanding. They have excellent authentic Japanese food with great service and a nice atmosphere. They are always in the running for the best Izakaya in OC, and our go to spot for celebrations and social gatherings meant to impress.

Great atmosphere to drink a pitcher or Sapporo while taking in some eats. Chefs are focused on their tasks and wait staff knew when to ask and when to leave us be.
Hachi is an Izakaya that specializes in seasonal bincho grill dishes, freshly farmed oysters, and specialty hot pot soups along with small Japanese tapas dishes and a variety of alcoholic drinks to pair with the dishes.
This is what makes Hachi an authentic and one-of-a-kind Izakaya.
