First time in my entire life I have have went to a grocery store especially a gourmet one and the cashier has a tip jar!!! Completely turned off by this are we in a third world country now??

I am not one to do bad reviews or reviews in general but this is one of my favorite places and I go to the one on balboa too. I'm standing here now and this has to be a joke. We have been waiting for over 25 minutes for a sandwich that doesn't need to be toasted and probably 15 customers have received their stuff before us. They have called about every number in the 20s. And now we asked for a third time and they seemed confused again. Didn't you just say your working on it? Twice? I know I sound petty but it's just rude and we are now the ONLY ones standing here because everyone has received their orders. We should have to ask 3 times and wait over 30 min

Had not been here for a long time and boy is it great. Everything is updated and great selection. Had a breakfast sandwich and it was delicious and their capachino was perfect! Tried tasters of salads and what a great selection and all tasted were outstanding. The service was spot on and friendly. We'll be back a lot more frequently!!

i love there a lot of higher end products here. although we went to store later in evening and all the premade food looked old and there was not a lot of selection. the people working registers do their jobs but are not friendly. would be awesome if they smiled more or engaged with customers paying an arm and a leg for the food they sell

Don't know when they expanded, but they've still got the best soups and sandwiches around. I'm partial to the Ahab sandwich, but my wife is working her way down the list.

Who doesn't love this deli and Bakery? So many things to choose from, and their deli is fresh and delicious! We often make it a regular lunch order stop to take back to the office with some sweet treats to share.

My husband and I were looking for something quick, easy and fresh....then remembered Irvine Ranch Market now accepts deli orders online. Highly recommend! FYI - Burgers served till 2:30pm

This is a neighborhood grocery store. Everything is high quality; the store is well organized. Fish and meat section had almost everything you want (jumbo shrimp, different fish, different steaks) with high quality. The gentleman at deli section was very helpful and generous in giving samples. The negative points are high prices. Also, the cashier seemed unprofessional and didn’t ask/offer a plastic bag.

I am so disappointed in IRM since the remodel. The layout of the market makes little sense. The deli/bakery area is poorly planned so trying to shop or order is nearly impossible! The cheap tables in the middle of the area are in the way and furthermore they are filled with brightly iced cheap cookies that they sell at most markets. The previous bakery area had much better products and was such a treat to see when you entered the store. That area now looks like Stater Bros with all the liquor. No charm left when coming in. I am sad that I find nothing good about this market. And speaking of charm, the Balboa Island location is a HUGE disappointment from the outside. Just plain boring with no beachy charm at all. What is going on??? Too bad, as IRM use to be a really great, fun place to shop.

Love this neighborhood market. It feels like a more family owned Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. I love their food bar area for lunch. The staff are also always so nice and friendly. I come here a lot for my day to day lunches and groceries because they have everything big grocers have with comparable prices but it feels more cozy and local. Support local!

A boutique grocery store with outstanding fruits, vegetables, butcher, bakery and deli. A great salad bar, too. The best of everything for every occasion. A wonderful place to shop.

I love this place. It's not cheap, but their fresh fish is fantastic. Their deli dept is also great; I always get the potato salad, thai noodle salad and fresh fruit. I love their desserts too. Check out the bakery dept.
