How can you get upset at a customer asking about prices? I wish I had something good to say, sadly my first negative review.

He has lots of Hawaiian shirts of many different styles and colors. Very nice and friendly and was super accommodating. Also had 3X shirts for my husband as well as shirts for my kids and me. Very reasonably priced, though if you wanted higher quality he has those too. A Costa Mesa staple.

Guy has a good selection, but truly cant support a business with a cranky owner like this guy. Never has anyone shouted at my for trying to buy something. Owner might be forgetting that customers are the reason he has a roof over his head. Might do him some good to remember that. I put my shirt back "exactly back where i found it" and left.

I got such a great deal here, I got 4 rad Hawaiian shirts here. I love and fully support small locally owned shops. There are hidden gems here if you look, obviously the really rare ones are dope af , but if you can't afford the collectors items, you can find other things on the sales rack (which I did). I'll totally be back for more especially for summer vibes!!

Owner is super nice, anyone saying he is not is upset they got towed from in front of the clear "NO BAR PARKING" sign in front of his shop. He is a Body Surfing legend and has an encyclopedic knowledge of Hawaiian shirts. Need a great Hawaiian shirt, look no further... Need a special historical Hawaiian shirt for the friend that has everything? This is the place to go. Locals know the good spots in the area, and this is a locals spot along with a few other places on 17th street that are slowly being pushed out by more corporate stuff.

I was on a mission to find a couple of Hawaiian shirts that would fit me and looked cool at the same time. Am a 3xl. I looked all over Orange County in the stores you might think would have something, but found either nothing that would fit me or nothing that I liked. A lot of lame looking stuff out there these days, I am more a fan of the old style silky type. Finally googled and saw listing for "Dirt Cheap Hawaiian Shirts" in Costa Mesa. So I went there, almost missed it because its in the back and was not visable from the street, and was shockingly surprised to fine the EXACT store I was looking for. They had a LOT of exactly what I am looking for. This is now my GO TO store. Corky Carroll

Avoid this place like the plague! The owner is an EXTREMELY RUDE, old, super bitter, sad excuse of a man! I went there to buy a shirt and was cursed out for simply asking why a basic looking shirt was $100! Save A LOT of money and BUY ELSEWHERE!!!!!
