People with bad experiences need to file a complaint. They get enough complaints they'll shut them down. They take your money promise it will be done in 2 weeks just to get your money and then it sits for months. They did so much damage to my car from just sitting unprotected, parts missing, poor paint job. Wally even asked for the rest of the down payment in advance because they needed to make payroll. Told him no. Another scam. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Filed a complaint. They are being investigated.

Henry and his crew did an excellent job repairing some damage to the entire left side of my car. They exceeded my expectations, even fixing some damage that was not related to the accident. I really like my car, but it's 16 years old and was concerned that the insurance company would total it, and that I wouldn't be able to replace it for what the insurance company was willing to pay. But Henry worked with them and came in at a price they were willing to cover, so I didn't have to come out of pocket for the repairs.

I recently had some damage caused to my vehicle from a local car wash. I took my vehicle for an estimate to Costa Mesa Collision and received a very good price estimate. The process was very quick and I received great service. I will definitely be back for any future paint jobs needed. Thank you Costa Mesa Collision for great service!

From quality and craftsmanship, to service and reliability - I cannot give enough accolades to Henry, his daughter Savana and their entire team. I have taken my 2018 Audi Q5 to them three times for both major and minor body repair and paint. They go above and beyond, and take care of my repairs as if the car was their own. I know when I leave them the keys, they have it completely taken care of, and I have nothing to worry about. Every experience I've had with them has been consistent, and gets better with time because they take the time to get to know me, and invest in my needs. I never had this experience at an Audi Service center. I have recommended them to all of my friends with similar German cars, and they have all been equally content. Just amazing. Thanks guys!

A truly excellent family owned and operated shop! Took my Honda Ridgeline into Costa Mesa Collision and they worked out ALL my paint flaws and dings and made it like new. Both Henry and Savannah were fantastic in their communication with me, and were able to get it to a price that made the other shops I went to look just silly, Plus, they were very pleasant and accommodating through the entire experience. Plus Henry had his team of detailers come out and really give it that extra shine. I'm beyond happy!".

PATHETIC. I have wasted dozens of hours and considerable expense just to try to get this shop to do their job. I am out of breath and energy at this point and ended up in a worst spot then when I brought the car in 1 1/2 years ago and am out $6,500. I have posted my complaint to the BAR below which discusses the story. The only thing I will highlight is the BAR will investigate and respond to complaints so they are worth getting on file and do not require too much time. Do not trust a shop that requires a large upfront deposit. File a Complaint - Bureau of Automotive Repair (ca.gov) Edward Hughes Program Representative II(s) Bureau of Automotive Repair 10949 North Mather Boulevard Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 I have known this guy for years and I thought that would mean I would be treated differently. His motto has always been "Touch everything" and now I know why. It's so your stuck!! This is a rare 1962 2 door Mercury Comet with S22 body trim with some parts specific only to this year car. It is a Unibody car and very susceptible to rust so few have survived. I was reassured when signing the contract, it would be completed in 3 months and always left inside. At times I went to the shop and it was packed in his back lot so tight I couldn't even get to it. It looked like it was in a wrecking yard. The attached pictures are dated. After he missed numerous deadlines, gave me fake promises and it was getting damaged in the heavy rains I finally had to pull the car. You can see the condition the car was in when I DROVE IT IN and when I TOWED IT OUT almost a year later. He would do something small occasionally then push it to the back of the heap so he can keep taking large deposits in. Unfortunately, my story ended up the same as the folks with the 1star reviews on Yelp (you can sort by that). Most of the good reviews online are from locals he knows that he does small jobs for. I know others that have been caught in the trap and without occurring major costs by stopping out their losses they have been stuck there. When I asked one party if he filed a complaint with the BAR who pulled his car after 3 1/2 years he stated "Nope, my understanding is that for them to even entertain opening up an investigation, has to have quite a # of complaints". I know others that said they would but my guess it all ends up the same. There are probably no assets to seize for repayment and people just give up. I'm surprised they are still allowed to operate. My short story in the complaint is as follows. I, drove my 1962 (I entered 1980 as your system wouldn't take 1962) Mercury Comet to this shop in June 2022 to repair some fender damage. I got sold a new paint job to be completed by the "Cruise for a cure" Car show on 9-24-22. The job was never completed, was left torn apart out in the rain for months and after realizing it was getting damaged, I finally needed to flatbed it out in April 2023. I received most of my parts in boxes but are still missing some. They kept my $6,500 deposit and have not responded to 2 demand letters and numerous calls and emails. I know of others that have had the same issues with this shop and it looks like they have 15 outstanding state, client and employment liens against them. This has been a nightmare. I worked 11 years to get my 1962 S22 Mercury Comet in the shape it was in and was able to drive it for about 6 months prior to this incident. As it stands it currently is back into pieces. I have sent a demand letter to their office twice certified and also via email and have just been ignored. My costs have escalated since then. Their motif operandi appear to be, wear out your customers by ignoring them until they give up. Dozens of hours of my time and numerous nights of sleep have been lost. This is all in addition to not having access to my car. I am out the $6,500 deposit he took and I have to store car parts in my apartment. I am still missing RARE car parts and it is going to now cost me about an additional ~$15,000 to get the car back on the road. Please let m

Wally and crew fixed my wife's brand new car that she decided to run into a parking pillar with. Their communication was top notch, they were spot on with their estimate and had the car done when they said they would. And the best part is the car looked just as good as when we drove it off the lot. Seriously can't recommend these guys highly enough.

BEWARE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! I would really like to give the zero stars, but it won't let me. Without a doubt the worst body shop to take your car to get ANY TYPE of work done. Henry the owner is a crook. This is my second time taking my car to him and I should've learned the first time. I had my car towed to Henry's shop on Dec. 16th, 2022.. where that following week Henry prepared an estimate for my vehicle. I have a brand new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Henry urgently rushed me to upfront him the money via cash, zelle, Venmo. He kept calling me and texting me to send the money for parts, and he had some on hold for my vehicle. I sent Henry over $8000.00 for an "security deposit " and assured me my car would be done in two weeks! Fast Forward, we are now almost in July and I still don't have my car, and "still waiting for parts". The lack of communication is so unprofessional for a owner of a shop. As soon as he got $8000,00 - no sign of Henry anywhere. I reached out several times and nothing. Until, I started to make comments about coming to the shop to see the work finished, he would respond barely, telling me "two more weeks it should be ready." It's all just bullshit honestly. I showed up at his shop unannounced last week to get my belongings out of the car , and still no where even close to being done. I asked for a refund because I know longer want him working on my vehicle, and he refused. So now I'm filing a suit against Costa Mesa Collision. Just takes me back from the first time he fix my Mercedes. I met this scumbag at a Pub 33 which is a Bikini bar in Costa Mesa and when I got into an accident , I took my car to Henry. I spoke to Henry in his office, and him knowing where I worked, took definitely took advantage of me. He would ask me for a hug just to grope me, and repeatedly would text me to send him some "sexy pics". He sexually harassed me on several occasions. I didn't say anything and felt so uncomfortable because I just wanted my car to be fixed. I still have all of our messages I will be using in court just to show, how terrible this place abs Henry actually is. This time too, paid for $5000.00 upfront to get the car fixed and assured me it would be only a " few weeks ".. it took almost 3 months for my car. I should've learned the first time but not really knowing any other body shop and just trusting people , I got fucked over once again. I'm reporting this to the BAR. Beware people!!

The paint was peeling and bubbling on parts of my '05 Subaru. Savannah at Costa Mesa Collision worked with me to get me a quote and give me a price that I could afford. The work they did was incredible-- my car looks brand new, and you can tell that the people here truly care about the work they do, and are passionate about cars. Pedestrians were pointing and staring at my car as I drove home from the shop, no joke. I will be happily referring friends to this place in the future.

If you're looking for something to complain about, you won't find it here. These incredible people made getting my wife's car fixed so painless and easy I, I felt like I was having friends or family handle it for it. A month or more ago my wife got backed into by a neighbor. Nobody was hurt, but the damage to her car was pretty bad. Trying to deal with insurance can be pretty nightmarish. After talking to my regular mechanic (who is incredible btw) I was recommended to this company. I went in, told them what happened, that we're going through our insurance. They gave me the quote and we then we waited for the insurance companies to "handle it" or duke it out or whatever it is they do, (I don't know, I'm not a doctor). Finally I just brought the car here and said "It needs to get fixed, my wife is gone for a week, and I'm here to get it fixed." They then proceeded to talk to the insurance company, get the details worked out, get the coverage and payment taken care of... AND even set me up with a RENTAL CAR walking distance from them... AND have that covered by the insurance company. Look, this all might be what they are supposed to do, but as someone who hasn't had to deal with car repair of this nature or insurance claims or any of it, this was by far the easiest I've ever had it. Did they communicate with me about everything, when it would go in, when it would be finished or delays? Yes. Did I forget important items in the car that my wife needed? Absolutely. Was I able to come back and get those things with no issues or problems? Sure thing. The short of this is; If you have never had to deal with insurance, a dented car, or getting it fixed, then go here. They take care of you, they are friendly, easy, and very communicative. Would recommend, if you didn't already get that.
