The correct address for Chet's Automotive Services is 670 W. 17th Street, Costa Mesa. It is not on Terminal Way. Hope Google fixes this error soon. Robbie is not only a great mechanic but an honest one at that. A rare breed these days. My mother-in-law has been using his services for over 20 years. I'm from out of town and had an unwelcomed screw in my tire. Robbie was able to fit me in right away and fix the flat faster than I can write this review!

After a decade in LA living down the street from an incredible mechanic, I was hard-pressed to find a new go-to shop after relocating to the OC. On a friend's recommendation I took my car to Robbie for some major aesthetic repairs (broken trunk, broken window, broken door handle) and within 24 hours he fixed it all and for well under $1K. I was amazed at not only the speed and fair price, but also the great customer service. I won't be going anywhere else so long as I live here and Rob's in business!

I have been going to Robbie for decades, because he not only does a great job, and in a reasonable time frame but is incredibly honest with his pricing. You always can be assured that you will be treated fairly and honestly. I Absolutely & Highly recommend Robbie!!!

Everything Jeff said is very true because everything he said I was going to say! I will say he will only fix what needs done and not over charge you! Robbie is the best all around and he is Honest and has a lot of Respect for his Customer's! Robbie is the very best mechanic I have ever met, and he is honest. Robbie will tell you exactly what's wrong and let you know how much it will most likely cost and how long it will take to fix your car. Additionally, if there is a way to save you money or time, he will do it without hesitation. I have been using Robbie to repair all of my vehicles and have referred all of my family and friends - most of which drive well out of their way to use him.

Robbie is so helpful. I needed to get my brakes fixed urgently, so I came in when he opened. He also installed my air filter & completed an oil change. I'm very satisfied. I also like all the vintage memorabilia in his office!

I took my 2002 Corvette in for service. Robbi took care of the issue I had with my coolant leak. Price to do the service was way better than expected (it didn't break my wallet) and he got the work done within a few hours. Very honest and up front guy! I don't trust too many people with my Vette, but definitely trust Robbi with it. Definitely have a peace of mind with this shop.

Such a great experience here, twice! I got new brake pads here less than a year ago, the service was great, the price was great and the attitude was great. I was having some squeaking issues so I called, he got me in this morning. Called me a few hours later, had taken care of the issue, driven it around to ensure the squeak was gone, and all at no charge! Such a great place to bring your car. I tried calling the dealership first and after trying 3 numbers that didn't work I got a person who transferred me to another person who didn't answer. I won't bother with the dealership next time, straight to Chet's!

Just used Chet's today for the first time. He came highly recommended and did a great job on my vehicle, I received excellent customer service and his prices were very reasonable. He has an amazing museum worth of vintage auto stuff around that could keep someone like me amused for days. Even though I walked in a new customer, I walked out feeling like I had just been to my local neighborhood mechanic I've known for years.

Been using Robby for over 30 years and have never been dissapointed. Not only his he knowledgable but he is honest and fair. In other words a car owners dream. His shop is also a museum of racing and other paraphenalia. The only place to go!!!
