Thuy is the best tailor at this location! I brought my wedding gown to be hemmed and also to have sleeves added and she did an amazing job and was super fast! I could not be any happier. Thank you Thuy so much!!!

I love Nordstrom (honestly, who doesn't?), but I've had some challenges with this location. I love the curbside pickup option, but have ordered items on multiple occasions expecting them to be ready by a certain date and three times I've had issues - twice the items weren't ready (just says "preparing for pickup") and once I got the notification less than one hour before closing (technically that's on the day, but seriously?).Furthermore, I'm grateful that Nordstrom is dog-friendly, but I experienced some discrimination when trying to make a return. A salesperson actively avoided helping me, and then made every attempt to pass me along to another employee (who ended up being on the phone during my entire transaction, even once I left). The initial employee begrudgingly helped me, barely saying a word. I was surprised given Nordstrom's reputation for customer service (and even more surprised because the employee's name tag showed that they had been with the company for over 10 years). I wish that they had communicated that they weren't comfortable with dogs, I would have understood. With all that said, this is my closest location but I'm considering making the switch to Fashion Island as my go-to Nordy. Hoping that this location will make some changes for the better!

The blonde at the kids shoe section is probably the rudest sales associate we've encountered in this entire mall. That's all I'll write here. We asked to be helped by someone else. She scoffed. I'm sure the excuse is the holiday hustle must have gotten to her but hey when we ask if you have a size, don't act like we asked for you to bend over backwards and spin 2 times.

Nordstrom is my one stop shop! I love visiting the store and enjoy online shopping. It's a great place to check everyone off my holiday list and special occasions. The store is always busy and very clean. Shopping at Nordstrom gives me a peace of mind. They have superb customer service, quality merchandise and Nordy Club perks. Maria at the Chanel cosmetics counter is amazing! Ruscellos is a nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, perfect to grab a quick bite. I always treat myself to an iced Mexican Mocha or iced lavender chair tea latte at eBar. Also, as a new mom I'm always looking for restrooms with a changing tables, and they have a family restroom by the kids section

I love going to Nordstrom because their employees are always so knowledgeable and welcoming. In particular this review is for a Men's Shoes Associate- Alexa. I had a $100 gift card and wasn't sure what I wanted. When I was browsing around the Shoe Department, Alexa greeted with me a nice smile and very gracious approach. I asked if she had "Superfeet" Insoles. I figured they probably didn't - but Alexa politely said: "I don't believe so but let me go check in back." She returned to the sales floor to inform me they didn't have them. Regardless, I appreciate that she went in back and made the effort to check. I decided to continue browsing through the store. I went into the "Rail" or "Men's Furnishings" Department. One or the other...two associates saw me walking around and didn't acknowledge me. I picked up a jacket that fit me perfectly and then asked myself: "what can I do with the remaining amount on the gift card." I walked past the associates with the jacket in hand and still no form of acknowledgment. Found a great hat and decided to proceed back to Men's Shoes. I asked Alexa if she was allowed to take the sale on these items and she said YES. I told her a couple associates didn't approach or acknowledge me so I wanted to make sure she got the sale. She apologized and I said: "it's okay it happens."I understand I didn't make a "BREAK THE BANK" purchase, but a sale is a sale. Alexa's service got her the sale! Thank you Alexa for the great service! If I ever go back for Men's Shoes - you will be the one I ask for. I unfortunately didn't get your fellow Shoe Associates name - but he was WONDERFUL as well. Might I add - got lots of compliments on the hat and jacket last night.

One of my favorite Nordstrom locations in California because it's definitely one of the nicer and bigger ones! This Nordstrom is huge and has a one of name brands from exclusive Nordstrom brands to designers! This Nordstrom also carries CHANEL! It's very hard to leave this store without anything in hand lolI also love the fact that returns and exchanges are usually very easy at any Nordstrom and they don't give you any problems. I have returned both new and used items (sometimes quality is bad or skin care/make up does not work well with my skin etc) and there's never been an issue. I think sometimes people will abuse this if they ever get refused a return because they are honestly really easy with returns!Easy parking, lots right in front of the entrances as well as disabled parking. When you leave the store, towards going inside the mall, you will literally see your favorite designers, Hermes Chanel and Dior !

Tina and Michelle in men's fragrance gave me incredible service and i walked out w cologne within 15 minutes of arriving.I needed a cologne for my wedding and i couldn't have dreamed of better service while choosing my most important scent. I was surrounded by service and sticks and smells and i felt like pretty woman in the 90's -- it was an experience. Highly recommend coming here. Best service I've gotten all year.Will be coming back here !!

Today 6/11/2023, I stopped by this Nordstroms to return a Tory Burch (TB) purse and a pair of Nikes. I went to the purse department and the Sales Associate Sharon was so helpful and let me return the Nikes as well as the TB purse since I had the receipts. I returned the TB purse because it was too small. Sharon suggested another TB in the same unique color, but it was bigger and it's on sale. I was able to purchase the new TB purse online with the assistance of Sharon and also a MCM purse that was on sale. I don't shop at this Nordstroms as much since it's not nearby and do most of my shopping online. The customer service I received today from Sharon was definitely Top Tier. Sharon reminded me the anniversary sale is in July so I will definitely be back....Management I hope you see this review and give Sharon a raise or an extra day off with pay. :)

I wish could give zero star to Nordstrom south coast plaza some rude and uneducated people working there their name is jaayn and Janettt they both work at shoes and when I wanted to talk to the manager of the store, Emilly introduced herself as the general manager, with no experience of management who were so rude with customers. Not a good location to shop .

Nordstrom doesn't really need a review, but I wanted to give one to the amazing Manager who helped me out with my Promo Card. I hit a wall with retrieving the funds off it, bounced from team member to team member, in store and more than an hour on the phone, finally Shanza got involved and professionally resolved everything. I wanted to thank Shanza for making sure I left a happy customer. She really went the extra mile. Thank you!

This review is for Chris V. who helped me make a men's shoes exchange on 01/25/23. Despite not having the shoe box, receipt, or tags attached, he processed my exchange. I was disappointed that the Vans shoes I purchased for my boyfriend just 1 month ago had their soles/some rubber coming apart. Chris was understanding and made sure to check the shoes carefully to confirm my claim. He checked the back room and displays on his floor to see if he could find me another pair with the same size. To no avail, he quickly got me a new pair ordered online and confirmed my shipping address and contact info. The new shoes showed up 1.5 days later to my doorstep with no issues. It's really rare to find employees that are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you're satisfied, especially given this was just an exchange.

Horrible experience , I went with my boyfriend to shop my Christmas present at the store , Tom Ford parfum was not available at store , Lady at the department said that store could ship it to store or my house . I chose to pick it up at store . She then proceed to run his credit card and took my info in order for me to pick it up this week . Now I check my email order was canceled by Nordstrom because they don't have that item in stock , and they money was going to be reimbursed to credit card on file . My boyfriend is out of town . Now I have to wait for him 2 weeks to come back to get my Christmas gift . I called to Nordstrom to at least get a gift card or give me the option to pick a different item with my order number . Due is a Gift from my boyfriend . They said NO . Thank you Nordstrom or Tom Ford at Nordstrom for ruining my Christmas gift ! Worst customer service experience I've ever had . Thanks for not helping , and for not giving me the option to at least exchange the item .

I receive excellence service from Jeffrey at the handbag department Josh from the sunglasses department and Angela from the customer service over the phone. I visit the store on December 4th and have some good time. I got a Chanel sunglasses with the help by Josh, he is so nice he introduced himself and I let him know that I would just like to shop around and he pointed to a corner that if I need anything he'll be right there. I try on the sunglasses and I like it a lot so I took it to him and ask him that I would like to buy it. He said sure and he'll get back to me and he put down the sunglasses. Couple minutes after he come back with a Chanel box with the soft case and a brand new pair of Chanel sunglasses. I didn't even ask him for a new pair he just did it. This is wonderful. I went to the handbag department and try to buy a bag to reward myself for Christmas. However they don't even carry that bag in store. Jeffrey R was the one who helped me he looked it up online, the system would not allow him to place the order for some reason.So he called the other store and see if they can place the order for me instead, it took a while but finally it went through and he was able to place the order over the phone, I could just pick it up a week later. The bag was super nice and it was exactly how I imagined it on me. I only wish that the pickup experience was as smooth. I have been keeping an eye on the email and for the whole week is says preparing for pickup but when I click on the shipping status it showed that item had actually been delivered by FedEx 3 days ago. I called and spoke to Angela at customer service she promised me that she will look it up. A few minutes later she called me that she spoke to her manager that the tracking number shows that it had been delivered to Costa Mesa but it didn't have the suite number so it probably not in the store it would be still in the truck, it sounds weird and I said okay and Angela ensuring me that she going to give me the call and then I said okay and we end the call. Like 15 minutes after Angela call me again and said she actually found the bag!!!! I was so happy and I told her I will be there in 2 hours, she said ok she will label it and she put it away for me. 2 hours later I was there and the parking situation was crazy. I made it to the store went to pick up show the email to guy in blue jacket at pick up. He scan the barcode of the email and he didn't say anything. He came back with the package and did not offer to open the package for me to double check the item. So I asked him if he can open it so that I can double check before I leave since it is a final sale. I purchased the bag for full price but on the email it says item is not refundable, I'm not sure why. I opened the box check everything carefully and he was about to walk away, I asked him if he can discard the packaging for me and get me a shopping bag, he didn't say anything but he did come back with a shopping bag. Shout out to Josh at the sunglasses department who wear the magnetic Chanel double C brooch, Jeffrey R from the handbag and Angela from customer service! They exceeded my expectation of Nordstrom. The order pick up department need to step up their game, how can a package been delivered for 3 days and no one scan it in the system and change these order status from preparing for pickup to ready for pickup?! Next time if I order anything to be picked up I'll just order that to be pick up at the Brea Mall, not at South Coast plaza.

This is my one stop shop. I've loved Nordstroms since I was old enough to shop!! The selections are always vast and wonderful. The cafe is my FAVORITE lunch time go to.

5 stars for Jasmine and her excellent customer service, she was professional and very attentive. She boxed and laced both of my sons gifts with ribbon and went above and beyond my expectations. I definitely will be recommending this location because of her. Thank you Jasmine!
