This review is strictly for the billing department / Bree Ashurt, head of the billing department. FUTURE AND FORMER PATIENTS BEWARE!!!!Before this year, I had no bad things to say about California Therapy Solutions. I frequented the Irvine location two years ago when I had knee surgery and was able to receive the care I needed through wonderful physical therapists and their assistants.Despite receiving care two years ago, I recently received a letter in the mail about a balance due. It stated that I owed a total of about $1,500 from my appointments. I thought this was strange, considering the Irvine location helped me with understanding my copays and even celebrated with me when I didn’t have to pay my copy anymore! I called the Irvine location to confirm with them that this bill was outstanding and I was referred over to the Costa Mesa location where Bree works.I gave them a call, left a message, and didn’t hear back. So in the meantime, I contacted my previous insurance to ask them about the payments. As it turned out, my insurance had paid IN FULL! TWO YEARS ago! I waited for Bree to call me back, as I wanted to give her the appropriate time to gather information to reach back out to me.After no response, I called the next morning at 11 and got into contact with her, only for her to tell me that she got my message and was going to call me after her lunch. She told me that she took a look at my patient profile and that it was accurate — that I owed $1500 to the company.When I told her I spoke to my insurance and they had proof of payment on their end and my patient profile end, she snapped back at me and said “that’s impossible, because we didn’t get anything. Who did you speak to?” She even laughed! I calmly told her that I spoke a representative yesterday and she demanded a name and time at which I called — as if she could reach the same person to argue with, instead of just contacting the insurance company to speak to them? She quickly ended our conversation and said she would get back to me when she was able to contact my insurance.Lo and behold, I get a call not 10 minutes later of her snarky attitude and a fake apology of how the billing department messed up and it was a mistake on their end. And get this —- California therapy ended up OWING ME money. She said she would get a check sent out to me, confirmed my address, and ended our call.A month later, the check never came. I called back and asked to speak with her - the receptionist asked what I was calling about and she put me on a brief hold. She told me that Bree was there but that she (the receptionist) was the one to continue helping me out. She said she was looking directly at the check in her hand and it said it was returned to the sender.So not only did she have my phone number, my correct address, my email, and the check returned to her, she didn’t want to bother sending me the money that the company owed me due to overpaying. So not only did they fail to contact me, Bree decided I wasn’t worth talking to, so she had the receptionist take care of it. Mind you, they had already sent me a bill to the SAME ADDRESS when I allegedly owed them money.When I apologized to the receptionist for my frustration, I asked her why I wasn’t contacted and she responded with “honestly, I have no idea. I couldn’t tell you.”I gave her a different address to avoid anymore issues and went on with my life. I received the check last week, it looks like the billing department got one of the numbers wrong. Make it make sense.I would refer my friends to CTS for any of their PT needs and tell them about what a wonderful experience I had, but this whole situation has turned it sour. I can’t imagine how often CTS’ billing department has gotten away with scamming their former patients (especially the older clientele they have) into sending them money for bills insurance has already paid for. Will never come to any CTS establishments or refer ever again.

The worst customer service I have experienced in 20 years! You can’t call and speak to a human - or book online, you can only leave a message - (which they take about a week to return). I have also left messages in person with the staff that took a week to return a call! Plus they have very limited availability!

I am very impressed with the treatment I received at California Therapy solutions. After knee replacement surgery, I was referred to them by friends and I received excellent care. Both Bill and Khang were professional and caring as well as entertaining. My mobility has improved greatly thanks to them. Linda H.

I made an appointment with Bill and waited over one month to see him. I was referred to him by my physical therapist who came to my house a few weeks after hip surgery. I arrived and the receptionist said my appointment was 30 minutes later than I scheduled. I waited 45 minutes and then someone other than Bill came out. She informed me that Bill left unexpectedly in the morning. They didn't bother to try calling me. When I asked when she could book again she said it would be over one and a half months. Don't go to this facility!!!! They treat people like ,,,,,,

I would not recommend this facility to anyone! Hygiene doesn't mean anything here! No hand washing / wear gloves between the patients with open wound!!!!!

This is the best Physical Therapy I have ever experienced. Susan is exceptional and she knows what she is doing. Everybody here is extremely helpful and pushes you to your limit,this is good.

I had the same type of experience as rowdy d who posted a review in 2019. Bill could not seem to remember my name or which side my injury was on. He called another woman by my name and had me push some huge apparatus until I was breathless then tried to counsel me on breathing when I was there for a shoulder injury. Something is definitely off and, unfortunately, he seems to be quite mean spirited. I thought about not leaving a review but i would not want to choose this provider based on other reviews that seem to be quite good. Maybe he prefers a specific type of client. I would never go back there or recommend it to anyone else.

California Therapy Solutions, a wonderful place to fix what ails you!Super impressed, love the top of the tower setting and no parking issues. That's the least of it.The therapists who work there are considerate, positive, friendly and communicate on a level that engages you and teaches you how to continue on your own after your sessions end. They kept me coming back for more. They did a wonderful job helping me regain use of my shoulder after two bad injuries and years of using other muscles to compensate for that. With their help I was able to regain more natural movement and eliminate a lot of pain. They absolutely know what they are doing. Just plain excellent! I would never consider going anywhere else. I am so grateful to have experienced their care. I am super happy with my results.

The CTS team has been absolutely wonderful in my time since I started coming for my injured knee. Whether it was Sandy or Bill or an aide like Delanie or Brianna. I felt very supported and attended to especially with the nuances of my bodily concerns. I cannot recommend this PT clinic and staff enough.

The team is great. Very caring about your issues and developing a comprehensive care plan. The facility is extremely well cared for and follows exceptional COVID cleaning practices. I have been going for several weeks and Leo customizes my care plan on each visit based on my current condition and Holly is very kind and encouraging as we go through my exercises.

All of the staff at CTS Cost Mesa is awesome!! From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the sweet and friendly receptionist you feel so happy to be there ? My physical therapist, Sandi, and her assistant, Brianna are amazing!! They’re such a great team!! Sandi and Brianna are extremely caring and they’re doing an amazing job of helping me to gain my strength and balance back so that I can walk again after a pelvic fracture! They even make my PT sessions fun!!? I feel so blessed to have these two ladies for my for my physical therapists!!
