Terrible customer service, their handbag looks cheap.I'd rather use a ziploc bag at least it's waterproof and it's better quality.I'm never coming back!

Had a credit from this store, when I went to go redeem it, they declared my balance to be $0. I know for sure 100% that I did not utilize this credit. Their system has changed therefore; unable to check if I used this credit, when and how. Funny, their corporate office is unable to verify too. I truly wonder how many customers got their credits ripped off. I have six Bottegas, this is my last for sure!5 days later, they sent me a text stating that my credit has been reinstated. So shady!

I was house sitting in Orange County over the Fourth of July holiday weekend and decided to shop for a handbag at the South Coast Plaza Mall. After walking into many high end boutiques and looking at a variety of bags, I decided on a handbag at Bottega Véneta. I was waited on by a very knowledgeable professional and attentive sales associate Mr Ed Lopez. After I got home with my bag a piece of the hardware broke. I immediately called Mr Lopez, he was most responsive assuring me that this was quite unusual. He made arrangements for a replacement bag and provided me with up to date status on the arrival of the replacement bag. Although I was very disappointed with the breakage, Mr Lopez made up for the mishap! What a pleasure to do business with a store that commits to providing outstanding customer service! I highly recommend the store and if you happen to stop by, definitely as for Mr Lopez, you will be amazed!

So what is the most prized merchandise in my closet? Hands down my Bottega Veneta Lug Boots! Not only does it make me feel a lot more confident wearing them, it goes with virtually anything I wear and adds a little more something to it. The boots are also more versatile in situations than my other favorite wardrobe piece, my Veronica Beard scuba blazer. I'm definitely not a handbag gal and a lot of my clothes are boutique pieces I find in thrift stores but I can fall in love with the right shoe. For a few years now I have been trying to get the "perfect" Chelsea boot that I can wear in more formal settings. My "casual/workhorse" utility boot I already have in the form of a Doc Martens 1460 in a softer leather for easier break-in. I love the idea of the boot but finding the perfect boot didn't happen until I went shopping at South Coast Plaza. My sister got her boot from another store but I heard one of the employees of that store say that this sold the classier/less "edgy" version of the boot. If anything I was just merely curious when I stepped in the store just because there is no BV location in SD; this is the closest location to me. When Isaac approached us I was just merely curious to try on the boot. What resulted is the closest thing I had to a Cinderella moment and I got it on the spot. A lot of my most beloved clothing and accessories have been from impulse buys but in my defense I had been thinking about the concept for a while. The boot is quite comfy. There was no real break-in period for me but I also don't wear these boots when I anticipate 8+ hours on my feet. The boot itself is big - toebox is wide so I actually got a half-size down (comparison: I get size 9.5-10 on most other shoes). The boot is solid black and all shoes handmade in Italy with the best craftsmanship. Each boot has its own individual sleeve for storage but in this particular instance I also store the shoes in its own original box. No wonder why people love the designer brand shopping experience - very personalized every step of the way. Many thanks for Isaac for helping me find my dream boot.

Big thank you to Szu for taking good care of me in the Bottega Veneta store in Costa Mesa. Her knowledge to the brand was very informative and I was able to learn a lot of things that made me fall in love with this designer brand even more. Came here to just try on my size for the Lug boots and I ended up buying it instead! Next purchase is a mini cassette bag, wallet, maybe pants or low Tire boots. Their store was very clean and all the employees was dressed to perfection! Can't wait to go back! Bottega Veneta became my new favorite designer brand and Szu is my go to person at the Costa Mesa store!

Ed is my go-to guy here. I don't usually write Yelp reviews but my most recent experience had me take the time to write something. Shopping for my girlfriend is never easy and like clockwork Ed sends me photos the weeks leading up to every major holiday. This week I sent Ed a photo of an exclusive bag I knew my girlfriend was in love with but no one in LA had it. I text Ed and within 10 minutes he found the bag at another store, sent me a link and boom, the bag is on its way!

Worst service ever! Older Caucasian lady is sooo unprofessional. Couldn't tell me my size and said she's just guessing cause she's not sure of the sizing but who knows? Your suppose to sell me the brand if you work there and know your products. She also didn't know the items they carry as me a customer had to tell her the price and pictures of what they sell and what I'm looking for? Seriously? Than she says it's this one and I'm like ummm no it's this one and says oh I don't know Ive never seen that? What??? It's one of your main collections. I'm shocked they hire someone to work there not even knowing the products they carry and having me educate them. I work high retail and will never complain or give anyone a hard time but wow I'm shocked. I love this brand but too bad even their sales didn't appreciate or value their products.

When your first pair Bottega Veneta shoes shows up in this package. Where's the signature green shoe box? Extra heel cap? Was this shoe sitting their warehouse for years before someone dusted it off, threw it on the floor a couple of times(joking shipping process), then sent it to me? Lucky me! didn't even bother to try them on because I was so disappointed in the overall packaging. Considering their popularity and price point it should be flawless. Bottega fail! I suggest ordering shoes from Farfetch because they have their s*** together.

Unfriendly store staff. An older lady helped me she was not willing to help out all that much. I was there to purchase shoes which were sold out. She wasnt enthusiastic about having me try any other shoes. Store was almost empty and they weren't busy yet she jyst trued to get rid of me! I am not a regular customer there but i purchase lots of luxury items from department stores i found her attitude disturbing and not welcoming. Not going back unless I really have to!

My experience at Bottega started earlier this year while planning for a trip to Europe. The salesperson Toni helped me with checking out a few options and I decided on one. Once I took it home I realized it was a little too small for its purpose and called Toni to see if I could return it for something else. When speaking with her she said it wasn't a problem so I headed to the store and resumed my search. Toni was patient as I decided to tell her I think I was going to wait. I received a store credit and headed home. After about 8 Months and countless hours of online searches I finally found what I wanted and gave Toni a call and told her what I found on the website and she told me she had it in store and ready to go. I made an appointment with her for later that evening and she had it ready for me. The bag is perfect and can't wait to use it in Europe and wherever else I go. If you want A+ experience at Bottega in south coast plaza ask for Toni and you won't be disappointed.
