I worked with Wendy and the staff for a year to develop a furnishing; lighting and window treatment plan. they also consulted on cabinetry and stone selections as well as hardware. I thought we had a good experience but I guess I was wrong.... I thought I could ask for rescourcing when I needed items or work done...after we moved in. However I have requested replacing and repairing a few items that over time need attention It has been 4 years. Refinish/ touch up few wood pieces as well as reupholstering two of our sofas or replacing them. After writing to them, I get a one line response. Sometimes no response. No referrals or help for these. I guess once they design the home....that is it. Covid was used n the one response I received. I don't think their work has stopped due to Covid...so this Leaves Clients to find help on our own. This seems counter productive to the long term beauty of their design work. Disappointed,

This is not your average design center. They have a small office in front, and a large warehouse filled with amazing, contemporary and colorful pieces. What starts your experience off is someone greeting you at the door and taking the time to learn what you are looking for and what is important in your next furniture decision. After walking the floor through their products on display, and can't seem to locate that ideal piece, don't worry. The lady was more than nice enough to spend time at a table reviewing a sample book full of great ideas and offered to order whatever we needed. I would have taken some pictures, but they are pretty strict about no photography. The prices are not on the inexepensive side by any means. I will however, justify that statement, by saying the quality of their goods supports the price. We located a few pieces, put them on our wishlist, and anxiously await the completion of our house to comeback and get them!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Found a bed that I just loved, and Blackband Design was listed as one of the vendors. I called all of the southern CA vendors (at least 10+), and Blackband Design was by far the best. Best price (as in $1000 below some of the LA shops - wha?!?), super incredibly fast/friendly/professional service... The bed was delivered and installed in less than a week from ordering. Looks fantastic. Would definitely buy from them again. Greg and Blackband Design are amazing!

Very nice higher end type furniture - casual vibe. Same as many designers use and good manufacturers. Some great items for a coastal or beach home. Smaller showroom but tons of options. Good decorator items. Great service.
