Went in this morning to get some change, but this location is so slow. Took about 15 minutes in line just to get change. Only two bank tellers available while 3 other tellers were in the background laughing and there was about 7 people behind me. This location needs better and new bank tellers.

Be warned, do not come here and expect to receive good service. This was the most unprofessional staff I have encountered at a bank. Not only was their service slow, but their communication was poor and they didn't seem to know what they're doing. I would expect better staff at an establishment like this. Zero stars if I could, I am shocked!! It's unfortunate, I believe in second chances and came back to do just that... was disappointed again. Do not bank here!!!

Another BAD BANK SITUATION--this time: BANK OF AMERICA, on 19th St, across from the gym there at Triangle Square, Costa Mesa, CA. This PERENNIAL LOSER BANK won't allow my friend any amount of his $16K from a SSI award. BofA admitted to the error (the bank issued incorrect name on a card) yesterday BUT today bank staff said, "WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, so staff closed my friend's window, leaving him to stand there nearly a half hour, as well as 1 teller and the L O N G line on a FRIDAY AFTERNOON, before a long weekend. This, after the bank's $3.7 billion agreement in 2023 to settle charges over widespread mismanagement of car loans, mortgages and bank accounts. BANK OF AMERICA STEALS MONEY. Watch your cash, y'all--we have a recession you know.

I would give this Bank zero Stars if I could every time I go it always takes 15 to 20 minutes to do a transaction tell her standing around chit-chatting acting like the world revolves around them very annoying my next trip I will be closing my account as I'm tired of the nonsense and the disrespect . Additionally I have left messages with the regional manager and nothing has changed I highly advise you to go to another bank unless you want to waste half your life in line let them lose all their customers maybe they'll get the hint

Took my daughter to go cash her first check she was super excited and when it was her turn she gave the teller her check and her ID that I got from the DMV that doesn't expire until 2024, the teller looked at the ID and said that she was not the one in the ID!!! D*** lady she was 11 years old when we got her ID. Of course she doesn't look the same, in the state of California her ID is valid until 2024!!! You need better customer service managers and tellers!!

my last review of this bank was 7 years ago. Just wanted to let everyone know It still is the worst banking experience in Southern California. So slow. No tellers. Long Lines. No customer service. A complete waste of an afternoon.

Set up an appointment to give docs regarding my deceased brother's account to Juan. Was told to expect a mailing within a week to continue the process. Haven't received the docs, and after several email inquiries to Juan over a period of three week's I have heard nothing. This is the worst service I have experienced at a bank. Makes me glad my accounts are with Wells.

Always a long line. Never a quick visit to this branch. I usually drive to the 17th street location for better and faster service.

Occam's razor: The explanation that requires the fewest assumptions is correct. At this BofA the simple conclusion to all situations is that you are a criminal. I spent 40 min in line to be told they can't cash my check because the amount was to much. The check was written to me, from a BofA client and I had ample proof of identification ect...nope can't cash it. I asked the manager how much the threshold was and was told that was a BofA security concern and due to their policy they can't cash their own checks. I did go to another BofA that cashed the check without any problems or concerns. This BofA is on the dark side of town and must get ripped off all the time to have a policy that won't cash their own checks, deducing that all people have Illegally intentions, just avoid this place. I had a friend that had their card scanned by a scammer and they used it at this branches ATM, they accused him of potentially being behind it, stating, "how do we know you didn't give someone your card and have them drain your account." This was around December 2019 and ultimately left them without money for Christmas. They did nothing to help them recover the funds or find the perpetrators of the crime, along with not being able to provide footage from the ATM camera. Again, you go here and you are the criminal if you want your own money or if someone else steals it!

This place works as a "bank" but I would treat this like the dmv. If you do not have to come into this bank branch... don't. The lines here are ridiculous in the middle of the day. I currently had to spend my entire lunch break here for 45 minutes. There are 30 people in line while there are only 2 people on the register. They also have 4 people who are on the investment side waiting to help people, but they need to hire more people to work the teller positions. On weekdays, there needs to be more people to help out on these lines.

BofA as a bank in general is not known to be very well known for customer service. But this location is by far the WORST. If you're going to come here, book out your day. They never have more than 2 tellers working at a time. Even on Fri afternoons when people will be cashing their paychecks. The tellers they do employ are some of the slowest moving people I have ever witnessed. The customer turnover is baffling, leaving you wonder what possible complicated transactions must every single customer be asking for that it would take so long for each person to be helped. They offer a facade of assistance by having an employee with a tablet asking each customer in line what they need help with. Laughingly, this person is never actually able to help anyone or move the line along any faster other than rerouting you to wait elsewhere for a personal banker. Either way, you end up waiting. If you do end up saying something to one of the bank employees, as futile as it is, about the line that goes out the door and the ridiculous wait time, their helpful suggestion is to use online banking. When asked why they don't open more counters with more tellers, the corporate-centric reply that it's not cost effective. Once (finally) at the counter speaking with the teller and asking what they do to make up for the unbelievable amount of time spent waiting, you'll be told you make the choice to wait in line in order to use their baking services, therefore they owe you no solace. You're better off just hiding your money underneath your mattress than dealing with the exasperation of having to bank at this location.

Rating this branch a 2 out of the consistent observation that they have 8 teller windows and only 1-2 tellers working at a time. This location always has a line out the door, and around the building. One wonders why the problem persists? They have the capacity to serve the community, but don't bother to staff appropriately. I always wait at least 20 min, longest I've waited was over an hour. There's never not been a wait

15 people in line and they have 2 tellers. I count a total of 13 windows but only 2 are in use. Not only did Bank of America close half their locations in the name of "Covid" but they don't even bother to properly staff the few locations that remain open. Why do we put up with this? Why has this become normal? Waiting an hour just to get some change for my business. Customers are clearly not the priority here. It's all about the bottom line. Even if that means ridiculous wait times and zero customer service. Bank of America sucks and the way they run their branches is absolutely horrible. Also, they ended up locking the doors at 4pm, even though they're advertised as being open until 5pm. I feel bad for all the people trying to open the door just to find that they've closed early because they can't handle the amount of people here. Way to go b of a!
