On a Saturday at 5pm, they refuse to cash in a lotto ticket purchases from their own store that was a $20 winner because they don't have $20 change in the register. Seriously? This is 2023 and you should not sell lotto tickets if you can't break change. Rude staff as well and homeless people always loitering outside

Another one with a horrible selection and they over charge wag too much and even if ur a respectful paying customer they won't let u use the bathroom (it can depend on who's working) but the owners (a man and a woman) are the complete NightmareCosta Mesa didn't always use to be like this and I didnt use to have such negative things to say about Newport Beach / Costa Mesa (which is where I'm from born and raised)SO DISAPPOINTING...

Access gets a little tight if it's busy, but you have easy access to Harbor Blvd, Victoria, Newport Blvd north, and the Eastside.

I always stop here for gas. They have competition prices and very low when you pay cash. I have never had any negative experiences there and when covid hit, ( I was a regular customer) they let me use the restroom when I was in a pickle. Staff is helpful.

With soaring gas prices, this Arco still manages to be competitive in the market. Some folks are gasoline snobs, I've always used Arco premium 91 gas on all my vehicles that required premium gas and never had any issues. The higher quality gas definitely keeps my cars running great. My last vehicle lived on Arco gas for nearly 18yrs.For years, Arco only took Debit Cards at the pump with a $0.35 service fee. As of last year, they now take Credit Cards. Credit Cards result in higher gas prices (about $0.10/gal on average) if used. Bring Cash to bypass the $0.35 service fee or jacked up Credit Card fee for deeper savings. It's pretty convenient off the freeway and the staff here are usually very nice. I'd say the only issue would be the transients that frequent this area, but to be honest, it's kinda part of life these days. All in all, I continue to come here for convenience.

Paid cash for gas, however, while I was pumping my gas I realized that I'm paying the credit price which is about. 14¢ more per gallon for the premium gas. I know it's only 14¢ but it adds up! Especially when filling up my tank! Questioned the employee working about it and he didn't get it... Makes me wonder how many times I've been duped like this, but just this gas station but from all of them? Pppfffttt

I gave Larry at the counter $90 in cash on May 1 and said $70 on 4, thinking that is what I had given him. I turned to go to the pumps and Larry said "You gave me $90". I am impressed. It would have been easy to pocket $20.

This station is not safe. The aggressiveness of the homeless is untenable. There is no security guard or any way to make my family safe so i will take my business elsewhere. I advise my family to not come to this ARCO, and I'll also alert my friends and neighbors until this location decides to clean up their business, and make it safe for the patrons.
