I visited this shop to remove a nail that I had in my tire and they removed it for free. They also reported to me issues that I had with my struts that I could already hear going out in my car. I appreciate that they informed me about that and I appreciate their thoroughness. The removing of the nail in my tire was done quickly. Another plus is that as you wait, you can walk across the street and have a bite to eat at all the different restaurants. And the staff was friendly and professional.

Update - they fixed our tire for the third time and didn’t charge us. We are so grateful and tipped! Thanks so much.
Old review - David and Martin were great. I have purchased tires here before and I had a leak one another tire and they patched it for free.

Honestly I left this place in tears I’ve never been treated so rude and so badly by a business in my life. I work at overnight at Hoag Hospital literally a mile away and came out to my tire being flat so I waited 2 hrs until you guys open. I pulled in 8am and saw this man I smiled and said hello and before I could say anything else he rolled his eyes shook his head and walked away. (At this time I didn’t even know if he worked there or not, I thought for sure that can’t be an employee being that rude when I’m coming to your business to spend money) I waited a few minutes and then called out “hello” and he started yelling at me in Spanish. I told him I didn’t understand and that I just needed a tire. He continued to speak aggressively to me in Spanish, and his body language was extensive aggressive and just shocking honestly. I started to look around for someone else and another gentleman appeared who didn’t work there but was able to translate that he was saying that they weren’t open yet. Mind you it was 8:25am at this time. The gentleman said they are supposed to open at 8 am and that’s what it said on Google. The employee was rolling his eyes at me like I did something wrong and truly made me feel so low. And as a black woman I can’t help but to think it’s because I’m black he treated me like that. And it’s so disheartening. I went and sat in my car to find another tire place and about 8:49 he appeared still annoyed gesturing like what do you want. I told him Nevermind (cause why would I trust this man to do anything g to my car when he was so hateful and rude?!) long story short I went to coast tires and they welcomed me with open arms, they had great service and greeted me with a smile. I was a waitress for 15 yrs so I tip everyone and I’m glad that I was able to tip the young men at Coast Tires because they actually deserved it. Now with that being said I’m going to tell anyone and everyone in Costa Mesa how rude and just straight up mean this employee is. I’m going to put his picture and company info on the bulletin board at work, I’m going to contact corporate, BBB, my sister Jackie Aina has over 2 million followers on TikTok and 6million on IG she has already agreed to do a video regarding this incident. And I will also contact the news if I have too. And my best friend is also a police officer for CMPD. It’s absolutely deplorable how your employee treated a paying first time customer. I bet if I was a man, especially a white man he wouldve never been such a monster. You never know who people have connections with. But I’m grateful this happened because now I can share with everyone how amazing Coast Tires is.

The tech was very knowledgeable and made helpful suggestions. The tire install was quick and they put everything back in its place neatly. He even suggested a great place to have lunch while we waited.
