Because of our advancing ages, it's been difficult to live in our 2-story house, climbing the stairs. We did not want to move, so pursued options. We got a recommendation from a neighbor about their good experience with 101 Mobility. Gary came to our house to discuss possibilities with us, taking time to answer all our concerns. We decided on a chair lift and were told the timeline since we needed a custom-built lift because of 2 landings on our staircase. When our lift arrived, 101 Mobility scheduled an appointment and it was installed yesterday by 101 Mobility's great team. Everyone we dealt with was very professional -- from the office to the installers. It's transformed our house and our lives! We're able to "age in place" and are thankful that we didn't have to leave our home.

Gary and Cindy were able to assist and provide an outstanding level of service and get my Mom a custom stair lift chair that she just LOVES. It's keeping her independent in her home. I have had two visits from 101 Mobility. One was great. The rep came out and explained various options for getting my husband up the stairs including a stair climber which I haven’t seen any where else.The second visit was to have grab bars installed. The gentleman who came was very kind but needed to explain things a little more clearly. I was under the impression that all grab bars had to be installed into studs. He felt using anchors for both ends of the bars was fine. He didn't explain that each of the anchors can support up to 150 lbs. so with a total of 8 anchors, my bar would be very safe. I got that information later from the company rep who was kind enough to call me right away when I expressed my concern. The man installing the grab bars made some extra holes to try to find the studs and left some marks on the walls. The bars did get properly installed, but the explanation could have been a little better. My husband has used them and put all his weight on them with no problem, so I'm happy that they were properly installed and provide the safety I was looking for.
