“I visited San Francisco while staying at a local hotel and found this Walgreens to be a great place for affordable breakfast, lunch, and water. Like a lot of city drugstores, this location has challenges with homeless people dropping in to grab things. Normally they have private security guarding the door but one morning we did see a person grab something and leave while nobody was guarding.”

“I went in looking for athletic tape for an injured finger. All I found was bandage style tape. I asked the clerk for help. She couldn't find what I needed. I left and went shopping next door. After I left the other store the clerk called to me from the doorway of CVS holding my item. She had found it while I was gone and waited hoping I would pass by. She was so kind and friendly and helpful. I felt cared for. I felt like I was participating in a community like I'd been brought up to believe in watching Sesame Street as a child. Thank you to that young (Indian/Pakistani/Desi?) woman. I wish I could remember your name. I strongly recommend her for manager. ??”

“I've been here a couple of times since moving to the neighborhood. The place is clean, neat and efficiently run. A number of different people have helped me and I've always had a good experience. I have never had to wait long. I feel fortunate to have access to this well-run pharmacy so close to home in this very urban setting. It's also nice they there's a Trader Joe's right next door. I've seen all the negative reviews and I just don't get it.”

“Who says pharmacies aren't nice? I know there are employee shortages at all the major stores so I didn't expect much when I took my son to this Walgreens to get a vaccine. The pharmacist was so nice! She was clearly very busy dealing with lots of customers and helping her own staff. But when it came to dealing with my four year old she was kind, patient and funny! The rest of the staff was great as well. I generally have not had any bad interactions at Walgreens and this one was no exception.”
“I was in the city for a meeting and felt like I was fighting something and decided to vitamin and mineral up and that brought me to this location. I got some Zicam, zinc lozenges and mineral water. It's on the smaller side as you would expect from a downtown location but they had everything. I am bumping up a star for them just being open despite all the closures in the area.”
