I brought my TSG scouting group (9 Dads with their 14 boys ages 8 to 28) and we all had an absolute blast! The Redwood Ops guys really run a beautiful operation. Safety and explanation is covered quickly but thoroughly. The game play is indescribably fun! The trees and shelters in the play area well thought out. Poison oak is completely cleared away. They can accommodate kids with special needs by giving them some super powers. We didn't need that this time, but it worked out extremely well last time. The game modes are highly enjoyable. This place overflows with awesomeness! We'll be back for sure!

This is not normal little vest laser tag, it’s so much cooler. Came here for a birthday party (all adults) and had an AWESOME time. Some of us had never played anything like this and others were really into video games like Call of Duty; the awesome staff made sure to give us enough flexibility/options/hints so everyone was engaged and had a great time! I loved how the different goals of different games kept the experience fresh. Great workout too. Highly recommend regardless of experience level…my friends already are asking to go back for another round.

Took a youth group of 10-year olds and their parents for laser tag, and everyone had a wonderful time. The drive from South Bay was totally worth it. The staff were super helpful and gracious. Tactical laser tag in the redwoods was incredibly fun. And the 185-ft giant slide was also a huge hit. Thank you, Koinonia, for opening up your beautiful grounds to the public and folks from different faiths.

I went back at the end of April with some friends and it was such a blast! Think: laser tag meets FPS video games. I loved the fact that it was an outdoor experience with real rugged terrain. Nothing super fancy, but it felt way more exciting than indoor laser tag. I loved the teamwork aspect and friendly competition. The staff was really great and helpful, especially with tech difficulties. They were pretty fun characters too. I've been raving about it by word of mouth so far, but I'm really excited to go again someday soon!

We had a lot of fun yesterday. The location is amazing and stuff is very friendly. 16 of us on a team bonding event enjoyed the laser tag activity very much. I was organising the event and it was a good and smooth experience. Daryl also arranged lunch for the group and made sure we had everything we needed. Great experience!

This was the best experiences I've ever had with laser tag.The hike up to the play area is a bit of a doozy and it really gets you warmed up! The activities were very engaging- you could tell they put a lot of effort into the gear such as the multiple guns, the different game modes, and the equipment/powerup boxes. The fact that the area is so varied terrain wise makes it even better. The quality of the equipment, especially the laser red-dot sights, are superb. It felt like I was really aiming through the sights. Not only would I recommend it, I would go out of my way to go again with others!

Took my 13 year old for his birthday celebration with a few of his friends. It was extremely well organized, they all had a lot of fun. The place is very clean, well maintained. They seem to have some amazing areas for cake cutting etc, wish we knew before we went there. Daryl and team, you guys were awesome hosts - thank you.

Awesome experience! Are you afraid of the pain and bruise from paintball/airsoft? Well, I am. Imagine my excitement when I found out about this place. Laser tag outdoors, in the midst of nature. We get all that action without the bullet scars - spoiler, I still managed to get hurt from tripping over a branch. No data available, so you won't feel the urge to use your phone. (In fact, I even forgot to take pictures...). Don't forget to download offline map for the returning trip in case you want to stop by Santa Cruz for lunch/dessert. I gathered my friends/friends of friends/etc and we managed to get 16 ppl for our ~2hr game session. They can host up to 20 players due to limitation of supplies. Minimum is $300 (up to 10 players). Players must be at least 10 years old, most likely because of safety - we are in the middle of forest after all. Reservation was done via email. They were responsive on FB messenger as well if you have quick questions. I sent them the contract and individual waivers via email ahead of time. Full payment was due on the day of, so that reassured me since they didn't have many reviews. The laser tag is located on the Koinonia Conference Ground - they have a lot of parking space, but it's still recommended to carpool. My group was coming from different direction and we came at different time, but the game host somehow knew we were all together and gathered us at an easy-to-spot location. There is a slight hike to get to the actual playing ground of the laser tag. It's only ~7 min hike, but it was a lot steeper than I anticipated. Definitely bring your own water bottle. We played a total of 5 rounds - 3 different type of games, but they do have other variation so you won't get bored. You'll definitely get a workout from running around. FYI - the laser guns were a lot heavier than expected, but we liked the fact that it has the red dot focusing scope thingy.

A laser tag birthday party for 12-13 year olds was very different from the usual with the event being held deep in a quiet redwood grove. There was nobody around except for the 2 instructors.Equipment was sophisticated geared towards outdoor video gaming using advanced weapons with functionality such as multiple weapon selection and enhanced powers from extra station 'treasure boxes'.Kids enjoyed running around and playing as a team. Instructors were interactive, available and extremely knowledgeable. Games also changed during the session. Requires a 10-15 minute hike to get to the top but it is nice and shady and a good workout.Overall a great day in the woods, kids had a great time. Thanks!!!
