This credit union is not good. I went in on a 80 degree day on my way home with my two month old in the stroller to get cash from the atm to pay our nanny. In no uncertain terms the lady guarding the front desk told me the facility is only for members who are navy and to leave and go to smart and final to use their atm. I said hey - “I’m just a mom trying to get cash quickly because it’s very hot and I cannot walk with my newborn that way in the heat. I pay you a lot in atm fees.” She basically called me a Jack-A and told me to get lost. Don’t use this place. They do not represent the same morals or caring as the navy or any other branch of the government. What a shame that they attach the Navy to their reputation. A disservice to service members everywhere.

Came here to open an account had an address change and this branch did not even attempt to help me but directed me to contact customer service and advised me it would be to complicated and difficult before I did that I stopped by another branch and they were able to help and open my account within 30 minutes. Overall even though there were hoops to go through all they had to do was be willing to make calls and sit there and help me get through it instead of referring me to do it online where I would have to mail documents and wait when it could of been solved instantly in person they are defiantly a horrible team at this location

Lanissa was defiantly very rude and gave me a poor experience at this branch and not just her I’ve had multiple interactions here with members and there very uptight and not helpful at all I even inquired about business account and loans and she had no interest in helping me but refers me online

I've been an NFCU member for literally decades and I went into the Coronado NFCU to see if I could change my regular NFCU Visa card into one of the rewards cards NFCU so highly advertise on television. I was basically told I couldn't do it without unlocking my credit, which made zero sense to me. Seems like a simple switch for a longtime customer. As I walked out, one of the assistant managers asked if I was upset. I explained the situation and she said she could help. This happened several months ago....crickets!!!!NFCU try to get better workers and spend less on advertising?!?!?

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! If your sign says open til 430 don't close early. Hard enough for working individual's just to get to bank and to be turned away. I looked at my phone and it said 429 barely made it. Nope doors locked. I'm sure if you are the manager you can clearly watch the video from 9/2 at 429pm and see that you closed early. Drove 30 minutes in traffic to get there so thanks for nothing.

I don’t usually write reviews but EVERY TIME that I have gone here-which has been often, I have to go to get help with things I feel like I know nothing about and they have ALWAYS been SUPER helpful and they take time to explain things. I always leave there understanding what I’m doing. They are quick too. I’ve never been there long. The people who work here are so nice and friendly and it’s overall a great experience.

Customer service is crap. 30+ minutes on hold waiting for customer service rep - all the while being told to use mobile or online services when the problem is their online software that's not working right. Then, having waited that long just to be told I had to be transferred and wait some more! Very frustrating.
