“I just finished going through the process of obtaining a HELOC. At first I wasn't 100% sure on whether or not I wanted a HELOC or to go with other options. I called a few credit unions, and I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air Wheelhouse Credit Union was. First, they actually called me back. They weren't able to answer my call the first time I called but called me back promptly (I was shocked because the other credit unions that I had left messages with, to this day have yet to call me back). Second, the conversation I had with my first point of contact was informative, helpful and frankly so friendly that I knew then I was going to work with this credit union. The gentleman I was speaking to was hilarious, polite and actually seemed as though he wanted my business, something which is very rare these days. Victor Leu is a gem and Wheelhouse is lucky to have him. If you are going to get a loan, make sure you are working with him. He keeps things moving and answered my calls with a great attitude every time. He promptly responded to my emails and always answered my questions. I couldn't ask for a better experience which was mostly due to his involvement in the process. Thank you Victor! I highly recommend working with Wheelhouse Credit Union for your loan.”

I recently had my user name and password stolen. Obviously wanted to change account info. as soon as possible. Delia K. and Deanna P. to the rescue. They came up with a solution to my problem. They fixed my accounts and all the worry associated with stolen info. They not only resolved the situation but stayed long after the credit union had closed to make everything right. Talk about customer service! How many other banks or credit unions would do that? Just amazing.”

“It was my first time in the bank. I normally do everything online. I was greeted by a polite gentleman at the door who was helpful and answered all of my questions. The teller was polite. I was seated fairly quickly and got my business taken care of with another helpful banker. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The bank was clean and had a peaceful environment. “The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I use a mobility scooter. Unfortunately, it is too big for the little elevator that they have for wheelchairs. I only have to go down 4 steps. Again, the staff are friendly. The location works too, and it has a walk-up ATM.”

“Came here with a friend, the ATM outside was not working, as it was being service. The staff is truly amazing here very friendly sociable and gets you in-and-out very quickly, even when there is a line. They have a very cozy area to wait for a banker and the line for the teller moves very quickly. I also noticed a front customer service agent who was answering questions for a member. Definitely a welcoming bank. Very clean and located at the Chula Vista Center near Las Tres Catina and what use to be Sears. Plenty of parking and entrance to Chula Vista Center.”
