I go back and forth between Texas and Coronado every couple months and the last time we were in CA, our dachshund got super sick. We were very worried about him.. His primary veterinarian is in Texas and we’d never actually been to the vet in CA before this. Dr. Noppinger was the absolute best. Even despite our concerns with this being our first visit, our expectations were exceeded! Our fur baby is doing so much better and it hasn’t even been 2 days. Even the front desk staff and technicians were so helpful. Aside from their extensive knowledge with what was happening, they seriously have the best customer service I’ve personally ever experienced at a vet clinic. Thank you all so much for everything! Doc says Destiny is “his girl”!❤️

With our recent experience, we feel Doctor Knoppinger and staff always showed sincerity and compassion, and listened to everything we had to say concerning our senior dog, Mattie. We would recommend Coronado Vet Clinic to anyone who asks.

I had an excellent experience at Coronado Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Noppinger and her team were amazing—very professional, kind, and attentive. Their approach was warm and reassuring, and the quality of care was excellent. The facility itself is welcoming and spotless, equipped with everything necessary to ensure your pet receives the best treatment. I also love that this hospital has been a trusted source of animal care for over 70 years. I highly recommend them for any pet owner seeking excellent veterinary care.

Hands down best vet I have been to. They got me in same day appointment, and then proceeded to spend hours calling all previous vets I have been to for a complete chart. I spent over an hour there while the vet and tech sat on the floor with me and my anxious pooch. By the end of the visit my dog was giving the vet kisses, and she usually hates the vet! They did not try to oversell, and genuinely just care about animals. 10/10 recommend for all your veterinary needs!!

My excellent experience started the minute I called and spoke to Rosie about new patient care and scheduling an appointment the same week. She was friendly and knowledgeable.
We were warmly greetly with a smile as soon as we stepped through the front door. We arrive early to give Theodore time to acclimate to the need space.
Next we were greet by Odyssey who was absolutely wonderful with Theodore. She could read his energy. She played and spoke to him before doing anything. She was very thorough asking questions about his health history.
Dr. Noppinger came in next, same kind, warm and friendly demeanor which Theodore took to very quickly. What I really appreciated was how clear she explained everything and how willing they were to work with him when he got anxious and stress out.
You know you picked the right Vet when your pup is happy, cooperative for the most part and leaves on a good note. We are confident that he will be getting the best care at Coronado Veterinary Hospital with Dr. Noppinger's team.

Coronado veterinarian office is a great facility. The Dr’s go above and beyond to take great care of your pet. They make you feel like family as they get on the pets level and communicate any issues on healthcare and treatment plans. I highly recommend a visit to our fantastic family at Coronado veterinarian!

I have never wanted to leave a review more in my life than for this veterinarian office. If you want to feel like you’re speaking to car salesman then this is the place for you. We included photos to show how incompetent Dr. Liz Noppinger was in treating our dog. Dr. Liz Noppinger will use anxiety, stress, fear, guilt and other negative emotions to get you to think that the dog you have raised for 9 years and had 4 specialists treat over different cities are all stupid compared to her. We spoke with Dr. Liz Noppinger because our dog has a chronic eye issue that we treat with $20 eye drops that need to be prescribed. We brought over 6 years of records when she was diagnosed by an eye specialist who only treats dogs for eye issues. Dr. Liz Noppinger didn’t even care. She wanted to retest my dogs eyes at her facility for $600 dollars before prescribing our needed medication and actually quoted us $130-140 solely for eye drops. The car salesman reference was because they kept going back and forth with about 6 different invoices that they would bring into our room when we would laugh at their outrageous prices. They truly want to buy another custom fancy golf cart with diamond stitched leather seats that they park directly in front of the office. Our dog was seen by our specialist who saw her records and was familiar with her issues. We bought the eye drops and within 3 days her eyes are nearly cleared up. (Please refer to images) Dr. Liz Noppinger wanted to perform an entire eye test which involved SCRAPING HER EYES, drawing blood, putting her in a cone for 2 weeks, putting litmus papers in her eyes, and putting our dog on pain killers. Dr. Liz Noppinger was really obsessed with pain killers even after voicing our dogs foul reaction to them. We walked out after refusing 6 invoices and still had to pay $135 for the appointment. Please heed our warning about Dr. Liz Noppinger as she is in this business for the money and will find anything to have you leave paying an extremely high invoice. I really hope the owners swap her due to all the poor reviews and please heed our WARNING about Dr. Liz Noppinger. No matter what you tell her it is her way and it will involve an extremely high bill. We are new residents to Coronado and will be telling all of our neighbors to stay away from this toxic place.

The worst experience I’ve ever had at a vet. We have been to vets in Ventura, Malibu, Los Angeles, Houston. This was hands down the WORST. The prices are 3x what you would normally pay so don’t say yes to their first quotes. The vet recommended dog foods with the most glyphosate but I’m sure purina and pays them a lot for selling kibble. They try and guilt trip you with extra exams and we ended up declining everything and still walked out having to pay $135 for a freaking wellness check after declining an extra $500 in tests. Save your money. There are better veterinarians that actually care about your dog. Vet had such a terrible attitude when we caught on that we don’t agree to first invoices. First she said allergies in SoCal are similar and then she went back on her word when we declined extra tests and said that we had to do more tests bc we are new to Coronado and the allergies are different.

Our two dogs have been clients of this animal hospital since their infancy and we have never had a single complaint. Doctor Noppinger is extremely sensitive to our pets' needs and makes every effort to fit us in when we have an emergency. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
