Such a cute store...unfortunately, I have to agree with these negative reviews (aka Pretty Woman reference). I asked a sales lady to hold a coat - it was the last one + I told her I would be back in less than 30 mins. Came back in 10 and it was placed back on the rack. She couldn't even make eye contact with me Probably because she knew that was...rude (I don't want to call it something more harsh - bc she was initially nice to me). I took the jacket off the rack + was going to leave + order it from the brand site directly but since another sales lady, Azalea, asked if I needed help ...with a friendly smile + genuine kindness - I ended up buying it anyway. Hopefully customer service becomes more consistent...as a local who wants to support small businesses/shops - it makes it difficult when you experience bad service. Thankfully, Azalea made up for the other girl's lack of service bc this shop does have cute items.

They have really nice clothes and cute stuff; however, I felt as though the staff ruined my experience. I was walking around and felt the staff was not helpful and ended up leaving without buying anything as it was a negative atmosphere.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I’m writing this review based off my mothers experience. Terrible customer service, even from the owner. My mom went in here very excited to shop at what she thought was going to be a fun experience. She spent about $650.00.About an hour later she realized one of the items she bought a pair of shorts, had a small stain on it. She went back in and asked if she can return the 1 out of several items she bought. They said they will try and get it out or check if they have another pair. They didn’t have another pair and refused to do anything but store credit. I do understand store policy but this seems to be the stores fault. We live in the Bay Area and she will not be back in the Coronado area. The owner responds with “no one lives here”. I personally think that’s a pretty rude response for something that is the stores fault.My entire family owns small businesses including myself and I’m the last person that would talk ill about another small business. I think you guys can do better and treat your customers with more respect. I’m writing this in hopes that the next time one of your customers has an issue like this you do better, or at least pretend to have a little more respect for the customers.

Absolutely the rudest and most judging employees. Last time in Coranado we spent thousands in this store . It doesn’t take a lot to just be Nice!!! Your employees should try it!!6-26-23 1:20 pm— response— Also she wasn’t verbally attacked.I told her I didn’t appreciate her treating my wife and 2 young daughters that way and it wasn’t necessary. My daughters 1 being special needs and the other 17 were very upset by this treatment and beyond a little shaken!!! Maybe the other customers that walked out that were saying we’ve never been treated so bad in my life should have came to management as well. You lost a bunch of money yesterday. And the manager was there!

I have to agree with the negative yelps. I really do love this boutique because I always find a few things to buy, BUT I continue to tell myself I'll never go back because of the employees. They make me and my friends feel so uncomfortable and not welcomed. That "pretty woman" review that someone had left is pretty spot on.

I love this boutique. My go-to for breezy summer dresses. I just got the perfect long dress for an office event. It can be dressed up or dressed down. Love it! I can't wait to see their fall collection!!

I was standing near a pair of pants and they fell off the hanger. I told the clerk and her reply was “you don’t know how to use a hanger?” Lost a sale right there lady!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I bought jeans from this place and just after two wears the zipper broke. Mind you, the zipper breaking was very random and not due to any other issues, such as sizing. I call them to let them know how ridiculous it is for me to pay $100 for jeans just for them to break after 2 uses and the worker admitted to me that this was due to a manufacture defect of the zipper, and to come in and they will exchange them for me. I drive 30 min in traffic to go in, I meet the girl and again she assures me that I am going to get new jeans, and that she wants to just show the owner of the store. The worker comes back and tells me because I washed my jeans she cannot exchange them. I was in shock. They ADMITTED to me it was a manufacture defect, then told me to come in and I was getting a free exchange, just for me to turn around and go home. How ridiculous. I will not shop at a place that cannot accommodate a faulty piece of clothing. Furthermore, I will not shop again at a place that provides low quality products for a high price. Unless this is properly fixed, they have lost me and all of my friends as customers.

Loved this store instantly when walking in. The clothes are so soft and comfortable. They have a modern fresh feel and seem like you could year them for years without going out of style. Found some clothes I can wear to work that were must haves. Loved the pant joggers and a classic white button down. The staff was super helpful and attentive without being overly aggressive. They wanted to help find you the right pieces and styles for you. I had a great shopping experience here and thought the staff was tip notch. Wish there was one up north.

SERVICE DOG AND OWNER DENIED ACCESS BY RUDE STAFF MEMBER! I was shopping with a friend who is a disabled person with a medically necessary service dog. She was denied access. I told the EXTREMELY RUDE SALES WOMAN that it was illegal to deny her access and she told me that She couldn't come in. They have a fake sign at the entrance that dogs can't come in today because they sprayed their floors. That sign has been up there for months and months. And spray or not it is still illegal to deny access. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. Since we were never and are never going to buy a thing at the RUDE HORRIBLE store we left. Karma karma karma. Maybe the owner should invest in polite sales people and informing them of what they legally can and cannot do. Unbelievable how wrong and rude they were. SERVICE DOGS AND THEIR OWNERS CAN NEVER EVER BE DENIED ACCESS!

Avenue and it's sister store Paris & Me offer that chic and boutique experience to both locals and visitors walking Orange Avenue to enjoy the shops. I quickly replaced all of my online shopping with these two stores and my wardrobe feels much more unique and fresh. The girls flow between both store fronts and are as fresh faced and chic as the clothing. I was a personal stylist at Nordstrom in my 20's and enjoy both the personal attention you are shown as well as the suggestions on items. Samantha or Sam has an especially great eye for offering a great basic you pass on the rack or pushing your style with a surprise element. There is truly something for everyone, my sisters and mother can all shop there together and usually buy 4 pairs of the same shoe. Carefully curated clothing and a staff that is clearly trained to give you an experience not just open a dressing room door and check you out.

I have never had a bad experience here. I am a local and really like this newer addition to the Coronado shops. Their clothes are perfect for the chic mom on the go like me. Casual but gorgeous. You can dress their clothes up and down. The service is top-notch. Good little sale rack too. And the clothes are not much more expensive than directly on the designer's website. I'll pay an extra $20 to be able to shop three blocks from my house. Recently I was late for a dinner party, and I needed/wanted a pair of pants. I called in a panic because I was stuck at work- they worked it out with me to pay for them on the phone, and the wonderful Alexa offered to drop them at my house! My husband complimented me recently on an outfit I was wearing ( I might sneak a few bags here and there through the door. ha! All of us women do it from time to time), and I told him about my Avenu experiences. He was thrilled to have a "go-to" for gifts and such for me throughout the year and was delighted to hear about the service so one of the ladies could help him if needed. Moral of the story.... 5 stars for clothes and service. Ignore the bitter Bettys that posted reviews during a pandemic. We all need a bit more patience and compassion as we navigate through these times. See you soon Avenu!
