Regrettably, my experience with this place has been disappointing. While it initially seemed promising, issues arose concerning the care of my six-month-old puppy. Despite their policy allowing unaltered puppies up to eight months, they repeatedly attributed behavioral problems to my puppy's unaltered status. In each report card, it felt like they were using his lack of alteration as a constant scapegoat, creating the impression that they were dissatisfied with him simply because he wasn't fixed. The reports seemed odd, with conflicting statements such as describing him as playing too aggressively while also calling him very sweet in the same note. This contradiction raised concerns about the accuracy and consistency of their assessments. Moreover, in my personal experiences with him and other dogs, he displayed normal and appropriate behavior, adjusting his play style according to the energy of the other dogs. Additionally, they mistakenly sent me pictures and videos of another dog that looked extremely similar to mine. Surprisingly, the videos depicted that dog playing quite aggressively, while the videos they sent me of my dog were significantly less intense. This mix-up further added to the confusion and undermined my trust in the facility. I also observed concerns about potty breaks, as my puppy often seemed desperate when I picked him up. A call with Candace ended abruptly, and although she initially ignored a few calls, she eventually picked up on the third attempt. After addressing these issues, they removed all videos, but I had screen recordings as evidence. Overall, my dissatisfaction stems from miscommunication, questionable care practices, and unprofessional conduct. It's disheartening when a facility appears more focused on arbitrary criteria than the well-being of the pets entrusted to them. I wouldn't recommend this place for pet boarding.

I've been a FAITHFUL customer for almost ten years. Micah starts wagging his tail the moment we turn onto the block that it's located. He automatically thinks fun, fun, fun. I automatically think my fur son will be safe and happy while I'm away..

I have been taking Koda my miniature schnauzer here for almost a year. He stays once or twice a week for doggy day care, and has stayed a few days for boarding. The staff is always wonderful, and Koda absolutely loves it! I appreciate the care of my Koda, who has so much energy!

Only have good things to say about this place. They do great with our dog even for extended stays. Our dog has a previous neck disc herniation, and while it's not a current medical condition, he has specific rules that must be followed when it comes to play/activity with staff during his boarding stays. We have not done doggy daycare due to his play limitations but every time we board him, the staff are very attentive to his needs and take great care of him. They also send updates in doggy Report Cards each night about how your dogs day is going, if they are eating, etc. which includes cute photos of them during their stay. My boy even had irritated eye folds (this happens to him even at home) and was scratching at it. The staff let me know in the report card and included a close up photo of his eye. Anytime I called to check up on him, they would also let me know if his eye was better or worse, and got my consent before applying any ointment on it. They truly care about their clients, and our boy gets great care while he's there. Absolutely recommend this place, especially because with my boy's previous neck injury, I get so nervous or hesitant to leave him anywhere because if he plays too hard, jumps, shakes toys / plays tug of war he's at risk for another injury. I felt bad not allowing them to play with my boy during his stay but it's necessary and they completely understood- in fact, in all his photos he looked super happy and even without being able to play with toys or be his hyper self, they still sat with him and cuddled him, pet him, and gave him the happiest stay. We picked him up from a long stay, and while he's happy we're home, it's clear he was taken excellent care of. We didn't pay for bathing either, and yet his fur is still soft and he isn't stinky. Even after almost 2 weeks of his stay, he is smelling clean and looks happy and healthy. Thank you Pet Patrol!

Rude and poorly managed. Not going back. Up charge after agreeing to a specific price.UPDATE: Not surprised the manager responded with her story, which is completely untrue. Her unprofessionalism was quite shocking. The truth is, our dog was only going for daycare. But since she is a super senior, she was kept in a boarding suite so she didn't get too much stimulation from the pack. The price agreed upon was the daycare rate. But twice when we came to pick her up, the boarding rate was charged. The problem with this establishment is the truly unprofessional way their management deals with simple situations. The manager progressed from 0 to 100 with vile hostility. How would she react if there was a genuine conflict? I assure you, the only anger and hostility was coming from The Pet Hotel employees and it was disgusting how we were treated. You Erika should have reached out to us to find out what happened.

They don't take in dogs that are over 10 years old. Very disappointed when I was refused service. My dog is 15 years old and is in great health and condition.

Pet Patrol is an excellent place for dog boarding. It's a little out of our way but definitely worth the drive for the love and attention they give the pups. Getting daily "report cards" is always a highlight of our day when our pup is there and it's wonderful to receive photos. I definitely recommend this place for extended stays.

Our pups first time at the hotel was a success! The daily texts with pics were such a fun touch. The staff was so kind and the facility was spotless. We will definitely be booking for future trips.

Ordinarily I would give this place a great review. However recently I had a negative experience with them. I wanted to board my dog Whimpie with them. He always goes there and the care is great. They post/email you pictures of your dog and they also give them any medication if you give them the meds & directions. But this time, even though my dog had just seen the vet that week and received a good report, they refused to take him because he's 19, they flat out refused to have him board there. Even with the doctors report that said he was in good health as long as he took his meds. So unfortunately, even though I really like this place, I have to give it a one star review because I don't think it's appropriate for a business to discriminate against dogs, simply because they are elderly. They did explain that they had another elderly dog go downhill really fast and pass away. So the owner didn't want to take the risk of having another elderly dog go downhill and potentially pass while in their care. But my dog is in excellent health as long as he takes his meds. He got a clean bill of health from the doctor who stated he was doing fine on his medication and his energy level was great. There was no reason for them to refuse care or board. So I had to find another place willing to take him. Fortunately, I have a back up place that I use when this place is booked. So I explained the situation to them and they said it would be no problem as long as the doctor cleared him to board, which he did. If you have an elderly dog, I would look elsewhere for care. This place doesn't want to take elderly dogs because of one bad experience. It's a shame because I really did like this place but I do think it's important to provide care and board for dogs, regardless of whether they are elderly or not. Also, I feel it's important to add that just six months prior, they took my dog and had him board there and had no issues. Although the owner has replied, I still stand by my review. They were willing to take my money six months before but now they are not. Referring dogs to a geriatric care center is not the answer, especially when my dog is used to going there when we take trips out of town. If you PM me, I would be happy to let you know the name of the other Borden care place that I took him to that had no issues with his age.

Reasonable prices for boarding. I like that they give you daily updates when boarding with pictures of your pet included. Grooming services are reasonably priced as well.
