Sycamore Creek Animal Hospital gave us 12 excellent and exceptional years of service. Dr.s Card and Verrault are very professional, straightforward, and informative, yet very caring. They were able to catch a few diagnoses and help treat them, as well as pain management for existing health issues. The whole staff are very friendly and will treat your fur babies like their favorite patient. Thank you so much for your dedication to our family and pets. I will forever be grateful.

Took our dog Tula in on short notice to be seen for out of control itching. The staff was friendly and the doctor was nice and knowledgeable. She has a dog about the same as ours. She made several recommendations for our dog. We decided to get her a shot for now and see how she responds to that. Overall we're very happy with the service that we received today.

We took my Newfoundland in on 8/15 to have him put down. It was only the second using the Sycamore Animal Hospital. When I first called and explained the situation, the receptionist, Nicki, was truly incredible. She was genuinely compassionate
to my boy's sudden inability to ambulate. I explained I was recovering from a broken femur and needed to have my son come to help put my 140 pound dog in the car. Nicki said she'd explain things to the vets and get right back to me, which she did. Dr. Verreault so very kindly said she'd see my boy whenever we could get there. When we arrived, several back office staff members had to help my husband and son get Diego out of the car.
I don't how many of you have ever tried to move 140 pound dog who is unable to move himself, but it is not an easy task! It probably took the four of them a good 15 minutes to get my dog out of the car. I was very touched when Nicki started crying when she saw my boy. He truly was a beautiful dog inside and out. One could never ask for a sweeter, kinder, or better behaved dog, which is actually true of most Newfoundlands. Once we were put into an exam room, two vet techs came in to insert the catheter into my dog's vein. They also brought him a chocolate frosted donut, which Diego truly enjoyed. The techs were lovely and spent quite a bit of time talking "dog" with us. Dr.Verreault was beyond wonderful! . As difficult as the situation was, I felt an instant report with her. We spent a fair amount of time talking about different breeds, her dogs, my preference for giant breeds, etc. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Verreault! My Vet of 45 years had recently retired. I'd been very hesitant about establishing a relationship with another Vet. Just two times seeing Dr. Verreault totally assuaged my nervousness. In the 53 years I've owned Newfs i've put down close to 20 dogs. While obviously it's always a difficult to say goodbye, Dr Verreault and most of her staff made as it pleasant as possible. They will forever have my eternal gratitude! They deserve WAY more than JUST five stars
The only ding I have is regarding one of the front office staff. She had quite a tendency to talk down to my husband and myself. I had already mentioned I'd put down many dogs over the course of my lifetime. I am 70 years old, former vice president of the Newfoundland Club of America, chair of their breeder education committee, a breeder and judges' mentor, and a member of their health longevity committee. I did not appreciate being talked down to as though I'm a neophyte when it comes to dogs.
In closing, if you are looking for a veterinarian to care for your beloved pets, Dr Verreault and her staff are an excellent choice!

The staff was absolutely amazing! We were worried because both of our boys (tabby cat and Shiba Inu) are very reactive. They don’t like being at the vet at all. The staff handled it so well, very patient, kind and understanding. They did what they needed to get the boys taken care of. So so thankful for their services. We’re new to the community, and we’re happy to have found an amazing vet that’s so close by!

The staff is so caring, efficient, and supportive. Millie’s care was thorough, and I felt relieved to hear about the lab results. The doctor explained the lab findings and recommended a course of treatment in terms that I could understand. Overall, the best veterinary care you can imagine!

Wish I could give them a ZERO!
Here is my email I sent them,…
Please remove us from your system as patients. Your front office staff are incompetent and your business doesn’t deserve good paying patients. Your hold times are ridiculous and the attitude of the staff when there is rude, stuck up, and lacking. I have tried to be polite and patient but enough is enough and I’m done with you all. There have been NUMEROUS times that I have called to get help and you are never there for us even when we need semi urgent care. I will be putting out negative reviews on all the platforms.
Not sure any more needs to be said except STAY AWAY and give your money to a better deserving Dr. And Staff that actually cares.

First time calling for my sick pug and they asked if I could hold - 20 minutes later I finally hung up with no response ?♂️. Looks like some of these other reviews are very correct.
