The staff here was awesome today! I was at chevron to get air for my tire. The staff saw I was having difficulty with a broken air machine and Invited me to the shop next-door to help me. They had me off and running in less than 20 seconds. Thanks guys for helping my son and I today. It's nice to see kind people still exist.

I got an oil change at this location about 3 weeks ago. I trusted them and did not feel the need to check my oil after the service was completed. BIG MISTAKE. So after about 3 weeks i had to replace the thermostat on my car, took it to the Mercedes dealership in Monterey. They told me whoever changed my oil, has put way too much engine oil and it could of easily blown my head gasket or done some damage to my engine. So sure enough he shows me and it was about 3/4 of an inch over maximum. Long story short if you love your car don't take it to this location.

I will start off by saying I almost always do my own oil changes. I was limited on time and decided to give Gieg's a try because I have known Ron and Dale most of my life and I am a big fan of Mobil 1 oil. I took my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee in for an oil change and it seemed everything went very smooth. Then it came time for another oil change so I crawled under the car and what I found was very disappointing. Oil everywhere, and I was able to spin the filter off with two fingers. I was very unhappy to say the least. I immediately snapped some photos of the issue and sent them to my father who is a friend of Dale Gieg's so he could pass along the issue. Dale said he would look into what happened but questioned the color of the oil filter thinking maybe they didn't do the work. He stated we use Mighty Filters that are black. I responded back it was a Mighty filter and if he needed pictures I could send them to him. So 13 days go by and no follow up from Dale. I sent him the pictures and told him I was surprised that I hadn't heard back from him. He basically said nobody remembered anything and to make it right he would offer me another oil change or if something was damaged to come in and he would turn it in to his insurance. I explained to him I learned my lesson and was not interested in another oil change and I was looking forward to see how he would like to make this right? His response was, "Take your business where it makes you happy, we are not above making mistakes"!!! I simply responded,"Mistakes happen, it's how people fix them that show customers the integrity behind the team . I guess the reviews weren't wrong, lesson learned!!! My wife's car has a Lifetime Warranty from Jeep if I would have taken the car into a Jeep dealer for any type of recall or service, you can bet that Warranty would have been canceled due to this. So people unfortunately I am here to tell you to think twice before taking your car or truck here. This is how a "Family Friend" chose to deal with this situation. I can say that all my dealings with Ron have always been good in past businesses so it pains me to have to give someone I know a bad review but this type of classless customer service should not be tolerated by any customer.

The guy named Jesus was cool but the other guy working yesterday at 2pm was rude and yelled at me for being upset when he took another customer in front of me after I had been waiting 20mins. Normally I would smack a punk like this but Jesus was professional and addressed my concern and kept a loyal customer coming back.. if I owned this place that kid would be gone already!

Fast and Great service. Wouldn't go anywhere else locally ! ðŸ‘
