Jennifer gave me one of the worst haircut experiences of my life. I have been going to this Fantastic Sams since I was a little kid. I literally wait to come home for haircuts (I live on the east coast now) because I know I can trust the stylists here, but because of my most recent cut with Jennifer, I'm never coming back here again. Came as a walk-in and she was immediately unfriendly with me, I later find out she was nearing the end of her shift (still two hours before close though, so other people could have taken me) and she 100% was just trying to be as quick as possible to get me out of her chair. She sat me down, kept interrupting me when I was describing what I wanted and obviously didn't listen or care about what I was saying. She immediately started cutting. She didn't wash my hair, she didn't even brush through it, then had the nerve to charge me extra for long hair when I have never been charged anything other than the $25 women's cut rate. Later when calling to complain, she lied to the manager and claimed I declined a wash when she didn't even ask or offer, even though getting a wash/condition is a standard practice that I've never once had to ask for. I had to ask her twice throughout the cut to give me actual layers. She had pulled a 2-3 inch section of hair forward at the top of my hairline, cut it shorter and tried to argue with me that those were my layers. She also cut my length unevenly, which I had to point out to her. She only fixed the most obvious part, didn't doublecheck that the rest was even, then started putting mousse in my hair and took the apron off. Checking my hair once I got home, the length is still uneven by more than an inch between my left and right side. If I hadn't protested about the layers and the uneven length, she would have had me out of her chair in about 5 minutes. What women's full haircut, heck even a men's haircut, would be done in 5 minutes??? The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because Magda, the manager, gave me a partial refund and a voucher for a cut in the future. She tried to make it right, but the damage is done. Magda, Rebecca, Pat... they've all cut my hair before and have been amazing, but obviously I messed up in thinking all the hairdressers here were at the same standard.

I have been going here for years and this Saturday I kept calling them to make an appointment and the phone just rang & rang, then when it was picked up they just hung it up. Confused I decided to go to their website and the website said they were permanently closed so I called another place and made an appointment there no problem. So today I needed to search out the directions for my appointment at the new place and I noticed that this Fantastic Sams website said they are open. This is very frustrating bc this salon is closer and has been my salon for at least the 12 years. I don’t know why they would say they were permanently closed and now day they are open… Seriously make up your darn mind please!!! ?Services: Haircut

The staff are very friendly and professional. The store is clean and the wait is never long. They do exactly what I want and make some suggestions as to what might be better. I always leave happy from there.
