“It’s a cute little place to take oil painting class. I’ve been wanting to do this for years, now that I have I can keep on painting. My class was $60 for like 4 classes. The teacher was hovering over me like a helicopter, but she was nice. I’m glad I took the class I learned a lot.”

“Weve used American Legion for family get togethers and funeral receptions.Fantastic kitchen available for larger parties, theres also a bar available, bathrooms are well stocked and clean. Plenty of tables and chairs.”

“My wife and I stopped by Lodge 2045 after a day of sightseeing in the area. There weren't many people in the lodge when we first arrived but we had a nice chat with the bartender. Eventually other members wandered in, we were introduced as visiting Elks, and we had a very nice time talking with a few of the members while we had a drink or two. Sadly we didn't get back for a second visit before we had to leave the area, but if we're ever back this way you can bet we'll be stopping by.”

The staff and administration have been great and my brother really loves it there; it is his home. He had been at other places before in NC and KY but this place is FAR better.
