While the beginning of my trip to this dealership was rocky, in the end things went very well. The manager Chris was a delight to work with and he was able to find the exact car I wanted. Joey was very helpful in getting the car to me and made the trip to drop it off at my home. Very pleasant experience overall.

I had a great experience. My sales person was Khalil Fuller. I purchased a 2024 Palisade Caligraphy Night.
I had initially found a vehicle through cars.com or CarGurus, and contacted the dealership about their internet price. I was surprised because the internet price was rather low. I quickly asked them about their dealership add ons. Khalil was upfront about it. To add ons were reasonable, compared to what all other dealerships were trying to do.
He provided me an upfront proposal on the car. We then scheduled to do the deal to following day. I told him I wanted to make sure there is not going to be any surprises when I get to the dealership. I was coming from an hour away.
The transaction was clean and there were no surprises on dealer ship related pricing. There was a slight mix up on the tax rate used because I live in los.Angeles and the dealership is in a different county. It added an additional thousand dollars to the deal, but the dealership worked with me to decrease the add ons to help compensate for the difference.
I left very happy with the experience and the transaction. I would recommend this dealership and Khalil Fuller to others.
Bait and switch tactics are always possible with car transactions. I really appreciated that khalil was up front and provided me a clean proposal on the car from the very start.

Straight up lied to me to get me to come in and then harassed me for months after I told them I was no longer in the market. I was in the market for a used car. I saw specific one I liked. On that car's web listing, it had its main advertised price and in the details it had its price without any add ons. I already know all the add ons are total scams so I called the dealership and asked if the price was negotiable from the add on-less price advertised on the description. Billy told me yes it definitely is. I get there, and after haggling with them for 30 minutes, they drop the price from its main price to the add on-less price and would not go a penny lower. I live far and really didn't want to go unless it was a good lead so I was very annoyed that they straight up lied to get me to come in.
I bought practically the same car somewhere else 2 weeks later for over 2k less. So every time they followed up with me I told them I was no longer in the market and that they should no longer contact me about it. It has now been five months and I have told them so many times to stop and they still keep checking in. Only leaving this review because I've had it with their phone calls.

It was a good visit. They began working on my car right on the appointed time and all the staff were pleasant and the bathroom was clean.

The service department as a whole is courteous and helpful. I took off 1 star because sometimes fluids are not topped off and also system doesn’t get updated when I sold my car. I continue to get called about it despite telling customer service to please remove it.

The search for a vehicle was a pretty muddy road for us lots of dealership visits, test drives and when we narrowed down the car and had a list of all the “needs” and a price we could afford the exhausting process of negotiating started. In all honesty I called CardinaleWay Hyundai to ask about a specific vehicle and if they could come in close to the other dealers we were working with based on the exterior Color, interior color, Calligraphy Trim, AWD and a couple of other pieces that were in our “want” category. The initial phone call we had was not pleasant. The questions I asked were somewhat frustratingly met, and at that time of the process my frustrations with other dealers the response of the Salesman, and mostly my impatience ended with a very unpleasant and heated exchange on my end. 30 minutes later, I received a phone call from John Hudson one of the sales managers he had listened to our phone call and wanted to call back to discuss the miscommunication as well as the vehicle. He was very kind spoken, not pushy presented me with facts and let me make the decision on if the vehicle was right for us. About four days later, I called John back and told him that we would like to come look at the car, he asked what time and when we arrived it was ready and waiting for us to test drive a salesman name Louis Came out and asked if we needed help and I told him I’d talked to John and John came out shook my hand asked me if I needed anything and said that Louis would take us out for a drive. The car was great, met all our needs and more and when it came time to discuss the price with John and Louis. It was unlike all of the other dealers that I had sat in front of. We weren’t leaned on by any means on making a decision right then and there, we told John at this point we’re putting all our cards on the table and told him These are the three cars we’ve narrowed it down to these are the prices, These are the miles features, etc. John asked what What would make us feel more comfortable, what vehicle was the best fit for us? and we talked about this being the best vehicle, but us needing to meet the other prices, he not only matched another dealer (that took couple hours of negotiating) but Helped us with peace of mind by the inclusion Of gap while we enjoy the car. After discussions with him, we got a Fully loaded Santa Fe, that hopefully we can grow into and enjoy for a long time. after my first phone call I would’ve never imagined taking my business here which is a great example of everybody has bad days, bad conversations and I was operating on contempt prior to investigation by basing a whole dealership off of one phone call. John Hudson is a good man. I’m glad he called back so that He could not only help us get the vehicle we wanted, and needed, but also show that just because a 10 minute phone call ends negatively and frustrating that does not mean that an organization isn’t appropriately ran. John taught me that and he called me after listening to the phone call that we had had and he definitely didn’t have to do that. I’m sure he had assumed that I wasn’t gonna come buy banything but regardless he earned my business by being a trustworthy ethical man running a dealership in a way unlike all of the other dealers I had dealt with in Southern California. We are happy with the car, the service the salesman Louis, the sales manager John and how they met us where we were at and insured our needs we met in a way we were comfortable with. Great experience give Louis and John a call I’m confident they will work with you unlike most in the area.

This was my first time coming here for service on my vehicle. I'm not going to lie, initially I was confused when entering the area because I had to drive through a lane that recorded or took pictures of my car. I could tell because I saw my vehicle on of the monitors inside the service area. Rather than wait for someone, I decided to park my vehicle. I walked over to the service area to see who can help me. Once I found someone, they welcomed me with open arms. The did apologize for not greeting me earlier because they had a customer on the phone (I forgave them). While checking in my car, they asked if I had the mileage and I responded no. The look I received that I interpreted was to go get it LOL. After recording the mileage, my service rep asked if I was staying. I replied and said I elected to Uber/Lyft back to my place (it was an option when I made the appointment online). I was told it was only a one-way trip. If they were to drop me off using Uber/Lyft, I need to find my way back. I said the dealership in Ontario dropped me off and picked me up… No response after… I did say if I had known that, meaning if they clarified on the website, I would’ve prepared to be waiting at the dealership. Quite frankly, I was disappointed because my plans changed not for the better.
Instead of making a big deal, I decided to walk around the dealership to see how the new cars look inside the showroom and outside. Not one person talked to me ☹ They kept looking at me and they continue to prospect on their computer… Not a problem… I had to entertain myself LOL.
The service I received was good and my service advisor kept me in the loop. The only thing that took awhile was authorizing my oil change (purchased the maintenance plan). After that was squared away, I was told where my car was and before I was about to drive off, I noticed I didn’t have one of those stickers (usually placed on the top left corner of the windshield) to let me know when to schedule another oil change. I spoke to my service advisor, and they ran out of those stickers… My service advisor said he programed a reminder. The one thing I liked was that my car was washed, but not fully. Meaning, it was half-washed ☹
Then I drove off the lot and heard something clicking on the rear passenger wheel. Everytime I drove I heard a mechanical clicking… I drove around the parking lot and did a visual across the street. I was going to return to the dealership, but it stopped so I paid no mind and went on to continue my day.
In summary, if I had to critique my experience and what I didn’t like, it would be the one-way Uber/Lyft option back to my place. If that is the option, please clarify on the website when someone is scheduling an appointment that it’s only a one-way trip; however, would people choose one-way trip? I know I wouldn’t… I wished I had a sticker to remind me what mileage to return to schedule another service at the dealership. What I did like was the customer service from the service advisor when I entered the building and that they apologized for not meeting me outside initially. I’ll have to think about returning here… At Ontario Hyundai they offered me to and from Uber/Lyft to my place ?

I was helped by Christian Butler who was really friendly, reasonable and helpful. I am very happy with my car purchase and I am going to recommend this dealership to my family and anyone looking to get a new vehicle.
On top of that, the whole dealership is state of the art and I’ll be back to do my servicing everytime.

The staff is friendly, caring and quick! My latest interaction was with team members Hayden and Mike who went above and beyond to exceed expectations, but honestly everyone I’ve dealt with here has been super helpful!
Being someone that isn’t very knowledgeable about cars and car parts, I often feel like auto service shops and companies take advantage and pressure me into over paying for things I need, and convincing me I need parts and services I actually don’t.
That is NOT the case here! The staff is knowledgeable, honest and sincere and I go out of my way to make sure I only come here for any service to my vehicle! I know I can trust the staff at CardinalWay Hyundai to do right be me and my Sonata!
