HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET. They price gouge you and do not care about your pet. They told me one price over the phone, then added an additional $400 when I got there. They charge you an “exam fee” every time you want to come in for something simple such as flea medication. Why would I need to pay an exam fee when it’s the same medication she’s always taken? I should only have to pay for the pills. The nurse was very unprofessional and asked if I wanted to see pictures of my “dog’s guts” that she took during her surgery. Then after her surgery, they left a tight bandage on her leg and when I couldn’t get it off at home, they had the audacity to say, “we can take it off for you but it will be a $75 exam fee.” Unbelievable. Never going back. Switching veterinarians.

The appointment system is inconsistent, drop-off system doesn’t work well with cats. My pet stayed there total of 4 hours and during 3 of those hours, he was just waiting alone. So of course he got aggressive then in return, we’ve been offered sedatives for next appointment. We’ve been asked to come in an hour and a half to pick him up but then it was delayed another 45 min, then another 40 min. When I asked to stay there with him or bring him back when they’re ready, it was refused as it wasn’t an in-room appointment. By the way, it was our first appointment, very disappointed that they were okay with keeping a cat alone for hours and suggesting sedation right from the beginning, I am questioning their values for animals.

Banfield has been caring for my baby for the past 12 years of her 15 year old life. Today I had to bring my baby in and have her put to sleep. The whole team was so caring and I truly appreciate them in this moment. I held in the tears until I got home but they all showed so much love to my baby in her last moments and I am thankful for that ❤️

We take our dogs here for check up's, and to get them up to date for vacancies, the rooms could be a little cleaner and should be cleaned after every visit. I didn't see that when we had a visit with our dog. To avoid kennel cough.

I'm not going to trash on the employees or the vet. They were fine. However, they need to be more clear about how their whole system works. I'm sure it has it's advantages but I would never come here for a routine check up again. They prioritize sick pets which is fine but when there's only one vet it's a massive wait that they give zero warning about. I made an appointment for 1pm. When I showed up they took my cat from me and told me it would be a two hour wait. I was annoyed by this, I didn't expect the long wait or to be separated from my cat before hand. But I got over that. However, after four hours I needed to get to work and he hadn't even seen a vet yet.I didn't have to pay anything but my cat was sitting alone for four hours for nothing. Even the idea of him sitting for two hours was nerve wracking because he doesn't do well in small spaces away from people he knows. But the fact that it took four hours and he didn't even get checked out is beyond frustratingly.I shouldn't be seen as the irrational one when a check up that would normally take less than a half hour takes over four.

This is the worst vet I have ever experienced with my furbaby. First off they are not up front with “all” the fees that goes into an exam. I was asked if I wanted them to put my baby to sleep to do the exam. She’s a poodle, not an aggressive pit (and I don’t think all pits are aggressive). I asked why would I want her asleep just for an exam, she had no comment, but it was clear that they only wanted to tag on fees. Another incident I called in asking for nausea pills because my baby doesn’t do well in car rides. They asked me to bring her in for a $75 exam. For nausea pills???? Really! I said only need the pills, I don’t have any concerns with her other than when we travel. I got the pills and they didn’t even offer explaining how to give her the pills or if I had any questions. It’s true what other reviews say, they don’t care about your baby, only about money. I’m taking her elsewhere, I get more advice and help from social media alone.

I've never had any problems with Banfield. Had a cat who passed from old age, and no problems. I now have a Shitzu terrier dog (I think) who has been going to Banfield since I got her as a puppy; appr 12 year old now, and have had no problems at all. Everyone is nice and appears to really care about the pets they take care of. AND I get no negative comments about how my little one reacts when seeing the vet, except for her being a little squirmy at times.Thank you Banfield.

Horrible , this was suppose to be my first visit to see if I wanted to enroll in the insurance plan w you guys. The reception was rude, I arrived at 112 pm, driving from Riverside to Corona I got caught up in a little traffic. My appointment was at 1 was assuming they would still see my dog being every hospital gives 15 min grace period the lady said they don't do grace periods of they did it would be 5 mins the most. I explained I was stuck in traffic there was nothing I could do and she said sorry you'd have to leave your pet here til 5 or reschedule. Just horrible I'm so upset. This all around put me back in all my other errands. That lady sascha shouldn't even work here. !!! Horrible not accommodating or no good customer service.

I'm going to start with the bad first and move on up. It can be pretty rough to get ahold of them on the phone. But they have A LOT of people coming and going so it makes sense. It sucks but what can you do? When I do speak with them though they are so very helpful. I get a lot of advice over the phone and I'm extremely grateful for it. They are pricey but the wellness plan with pet insurance makes it tolerable. On occasion, I will say yes, I can get someone with a little bit of a "spicy" personality. But I've seen who they deal with so the tougher exterior seems warranted. Respect goes both ways though so when I'm speaking with someone it's usually not that bad. Now for the good, the genuine concern and patience they show for my pet is why I keep coming back. My cat is an absolute cuddle bug at home but is Mr. Hyde when it comes to other people. But the vets and techs are so very patient and sweet with her even when she's screeching their ears off. I've been to a few Banfields and never had a bad vet but Dr. Russey is an absolute godsend and will listen to every concern I have. If nothing else, I will keep coming back because of what a great doctor she is. Definitely stuck with me and my bipolar kitty (sorry Dr. Russey) TLDR;Cons:Hard to get ahold of and it can get expensive. Scheduling is hit or miss. It could be the day of or in two weeks depending what you need. Pros: Their wellness plan eases the price and gives you a bi annual check up for your pets with bloodwork done to make sure everything looks good. The vets and techs are incredibly patient and show genuine concern for my fur babies. Gives me a feeling of being in good hands.

I brought my dog in for an exam last week to a different Banfield location and they did a full exam. But he's been peeing abnormally the past few days, so I brought him in today to this location to check his urine. But when I arrived, I was told that the doctor is out to lunch, so I'd have to drop him off and come back later. When I asked how long it would take, since I drove quite a ways to come to this appointment, I was told at least three hours because there were three animals ahead of mine. So I went to get something to eat and stopped back several hours later and was told that there were still three other animals ahead of mine and that it would still be several hours and that they hadn't even collected the urine sample yet. So my skittish dog has been sitting in a cage somewhere having to pee for hours because I tried to make sure he'd have a urine sample ready when I brought him in. And when I expressed that to the front staff, they didn't seem to care. It's a shame, I had a great experience at the other Banfield location, but this one I would not recommend at all if you can help it. And as I was waiting, I overhead the vet tech tell someone on the phone that this clinic is mostly drop-off, just so everyone else doesn't have to go through the same thing unnecessarily. I also overhead several people come in and say they can never get a hold of anyone at the clinic. I never tried to call so I can't speak on that, but figured I would include that as well.

This was one of the worst vets I’ve ever had the displeasure of visiting. I would give it 0 stars if I could. I just want to say right out the gate: PLEASE do not take your babies here. They have no real interest in helping them; they are only looking to price gouge you. I brought my cat here after several negative experiences with another vet prior, and Banfield was only concerned with things not correlated to the problems she had been having, which were urinary. They asked if she had an updated rabies shot— we said she didn’t. They accepted her anyway and tried to retrieve a urine sample, but the vet was bitten in the process and afterwards, she complained that we then needed to pay for the cat to get her rabies shot. It would have made more sense to just turn us away or insist that the rabies shot would be the first thing administered in order to have a look at the cat for what she was brought in for. After that trouble, they never ended up retrieving the urine sample, and told us to take home nonabsorbent litter to retrieve a sample ourselves and bring it back in. This didn’t end up happening and my cat’s condition only continued to worsen, so she was taken elsewhere and by then she was on the brink of death seemingly overnight. I did end up losing my cat, ultimately. Banfield failed her and I think I did too, for entrusting them with her health. I’m begging you to save your time and money and avoid asking the actual monkeys that run this place to help you and your beloved pet, because they are simply incapable of doing so, and will send you in a roundabout in order to take you for as much as they can.

Wow ! I am very disappointed . Banfield kept on calling me I thought they were calling to resolve the issues I had with their receptionist Sacha very rude and unpleasant woman . I stop by to the Corona place to ask why they were calling , I ask to speak to a Manager Guest who came out Sacha the worst person who treat me , my friend and my dog so bad , she had the nerve to lie and told me my dog was sick no she was pregnant and needed an X-Ray She was trying hard to twisted the truth but I told her that I have evidence and witness heard what she was saying . That woman deserves to be fired , before Banfield was fine , Sacha is bad employee , not in the best interest for the company . With her nasty attitude she is making clients stay far from this place . Please do something before is too late .

ANSWER THE PHONES!! You have to call 5-10 times in a row to get someone to answer if you're lucky...Website it's over a month out for appointments but if you get to speak to someone they are able to get you in within 10 days. Which make calling them even more frustrating when they do not answer.Service is great once you finally get through.

HORRIBLE, called and nobody answered. Recalled and a guy answered the phone laughing. Was not helpful at all. And did not take my situation seriously.
