At first I didn't know what the invoice was about, I called to see what was going on, after they explained to me which they were very kind i understood everything. they helped me to appeal with my insurance, they provided me with the instructions and at the end, what i paid was only a copayment of $20 vs the $350 my insurance was making me responsible for. thank you guys.

Billed me for a procedure that I did not consent to while in the hospital. Typical BS of doing procedures that aren't linked to the hospital and then billing you separately and claiming you signed a consent form. Unethical, immoral and should be illegal. After speaking to my insurance carrier, and seeing all the YELP reviews calling this place a scam, I can confirm that it is a scam. DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING!

Same here as the other reviews. Shady practice and double billing people for "open claims." Make sure you call your insurance company and have them contact Apnea to confirm any charges to you are not approved and that you have been double billed. Also cross-check the service date of the "open claim" with your insurance provider. If I had to guess, there won't be any listed on your insurers end that aligns with what Apnea says.

As others said, they are paid by the hospital and then try to double dip and collect from unsuspecting newborn parents. It takes a few people to say enough and contact the State of California. Imagine how many folks paid without knowing?

Insurance EOB just came which "specifically excludes this service" which is listed as a "well visit" -- uh, maybe because (like these other commenters) it was also covered on my hospital bill??? total scam!

0 stars if possible! Same as other reviews. Tried double billing talking about I'm 100% liable for payments that were already paid by my insurance. My insurance contacted them and stated to them everything that was billed had been paid months ago they don't know what they're trying to bill me for. Case closed If you receive anything from them I strongly suggest to contact your insurance first!

Same as the other yelp review. This company is a scam. Our insurance said they paid it. The company is just trying to take advantage of people.

Tried to double bill us for a screening that was covered by the hospital bill. Took multiple calls to the insurance company before they said "just tell them no." I put that in writing and they finally got the message. Annoying crooks!
