I had a great experience at Scene Gallery. Robert was so helpful in choosing the right frame for a very special original photography piece of mine. Fully trusted him in the process and it came out beautifully. He was also very kind and patient with my situation- I was out of the country then unexpectedly moved right after dropping my artwork off... they kept my art safe for me for almost a year until I could come back and get it. I felt so bad and appreciated this so much! Always support small businesses. They treat you much better than giant corporate ones as well! They really take their time and make sure you are happy. Thanks guys!

THE ART Very beautiful paintings at Scene gallery in Corona Del Mar. Incredible selection of pieces that captivate and draw you in. A well curated gallery for purchase by the most demanding buyers. Lots of pieces by local artists, yet the work looks like it belongs in a meseum. THE BUSINESS The pricing is very reasonable for the quality and appeal. The Staff (especially Robert) is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional. Small little gallery tucked behind Rose Bakery... a hidden gem! THE EXPERIENCE We bought a painting here for Mother's Day, they gave us 5 star service throughout the entire buying process, educating us about the artist and the painting. They wrapped up the painting very professionally and held it for us to pick up on Mother's Day as a surprise. They even offered to store it for a few weeks while our family moves. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SCENE GALLERY!

I've had two paintings framed by Rob recently. Both are gorgeous, and my clients couldn't be happier. Rob consulted with me closely to make sure the right frame accentuated my art and took the interiors into consideration. I'm so pleased with the guidance and buying experience. This is my go to shop from now on.

I have been going to Scene Gallery for all of my framing needs since I moved to Orange County from NYC. Rob has the ability to make all of my art pieces "POP" with the right mats and frames and does museum quality work at very reasonable prices. He does everything from small to super large and can assist with the hanging as well. He treats his customers like family and takes great care of your artwork and/or special family heirlooms. I have been nothing but pleased with my finished pieces. Rob's shop is a welcomed addition to CDM and everyone should know about this little gem in our lovely neighborhood.

This gallery has some cute local artwork in addition to being a frame shop. I went to Scene to have a photo framed and Rob, who I believe is the owner, was very helpful and directed me to an OC shop to have my photo printed before it was ready for framing. I had the finished product matted and framed (simple white mat and black frame, size was 14 x 11), and it looked beautiful when complete. In terms of quality, I'd give 4-5 stars. The main reason I only gave 3 here was that I found the pricing shockingly expensive (and that even included a discount Rob gave me). I've had similar art framed for much less elsewhere (about 1/4 of the price!) and if I hadn't been in a bit of a hurry I would have taken it elsewhere. Sorry, hate to give a small business a bad comment, but would love to see that pricing come down so I can return. I suspect what is happening is what some of us call the "Newport Beach" mark-up ... I suppose as a small business, if you can get it, go for it. But that's probably not going to make the locals frequent your business.

Robert and Danette are amazing, they're insanely helpful when it comes to picking the right frame. They always get my picture back to me on time with no imperfections. The art in there is AMAZING, it's all reasonably priced and beautiful

Um... Best frames ever! If you want some boring, ordinary frames don't go here, they only have awesome ones :) Rob truely cares about his customers and helped turn my house from "no" to "woah!"

Have leaned on Rob and his design expertise for several years now. He works with some talented artists who have created some amazing Tuscany scenes for us. My Yelp today is to compliment Rob for the amazing job he did creating a custom framed display for a set of commemorative Winchester rifles I own. The level of detail and support from coming up with the idea, to execution finish was all outstanding. I now have a one of a kind piece of art.

Scene Gallery was particularly accomodating in trying to find me the perfect frame for a very large, oversized painting I have in my home. Rob worked tirelessly to locate the right size, color, width and shape. Rob, the owner, is an artist himself, and has a unique, creative eye that helps him identify the perfect frame for your needs. He showed me some of his own paintings and he's an amazing artist. It's a great little neighborhood framing store, with a laid-back, comfortable feel. He is also very flexible to work within your budget if you have limited dollars to spend. I will definietly bring more art here to be framed in the future! :)

A good friend of mine recommended I visit Scene Gallery when I moved into my new home and needed some framing work done and advice on decorating. The shop owner, Rob, was so helpful. He has a great feel and an eye for art -- I later learned he is not just the shop owner, but he is an artist himself -- he paints, and is a playwright. Rob even came to my home and spoke with my husband and I helped us design our wall space for our art. Now when I need something framed or advice, I don't even have to worry -- I trust Rob completely -- I just call him, tell him I dropping off a piece of art and he always picks out the perfect frame! He has framed everything from delicate antique maps to my kid's art work -- I won't go anywhere else. Also, his selection of frames is something you will never find in any of those chain frame stores -- he carries beautifully handcrafted frames from all over the world.
