“Had been walking around in search of a little something sweet. The thing is, I'm vegan, so not a lot of options. Popped into B.Candy (for the 1st time) and was immediately greeted with "Hi! Looking for something in particular today?" I said I was looking for vegan/plant based candy. He directed me to gummy bears. I said I was tired of gummy snacks and asked if he had anything chocolatey. While there wasn't any vegan chocolate candy, he did ask if I wanted to try the vegan chocolate ice cream. OF COURSE! the sample was DELICIOUS!! Thick, Creamy, Fudgy. It was like frozen rich chocolate cake batter. 2 scoops on a sugar cone ($5) and Saturday was MADE! You've got a new customer!”

“This particular Sees location supports my postulate that Sees adheres to a rigid policy of hiring among the world's nicest human beings. Their product sells itself, so why not hit all the sugar addicts entering their doors with a nice nice warm fuzzy overload. Among our favorite employees here is a wonderful individual named Noelle. Every company wishing to be successful needs to have individuals like her. Like their sister stores, the place is pristine and the workers are always eager to give you samples. I wish they would give free samples of the butterscotch lollipops, which admittedly is our family's Cryptonite, but that is ok, since they spotted me samples of the Toffee Ettes, otherwise known as a legal form of crack.”

“Upon entry to the store, Brian gave us each a sample. It was delicious! He helped us enthusiastically with our custom orders and suggested new items. It was actually my birthday! All I wanted for my birthday was Sees Candy and a cupcake. He was able to suggest Sprinkles and even looked up the hours so we could make it before closing. He went above and beyond, and we were thrilled to be in the Sees store in Costa Mesa. Any business owner would be blessed to have Brian as their employee!”

“No joke, I always get gifted ROYCE chocolates - Christmas, Birthday, etc. these are easily the best chocolates I've ever had! They're so unique. If you like chocolate mousse, then you'll love these! These chocolates are like little chocolate mousse rectangles. They're soft yet a little firm like nearly frozen mousse. I've never had anything like these before. Also, the quality is superb. I hate Hersheys and American (even popular German chocolates) sweets because they're equivalent to eating sugar, but somehow worse. It's way too sweet and in a really bad way. These chocolates are very sweet, but in a different way because the ingredients used are much better. It's much more cocoa present and complex. Also, I am NOT lactose by any means, BUT you HAVE to keep these refrigerated or else you will die of stomach pain like I did! Totally my bad, but I want to save you from suffering. So yummy, can't wait to get some more! Lastly, the SAKURA ONE IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST. My mans & I really love it. It has a cherry flavor and is so so original. Buy all the flavors are amazing. Really good gift, it left a really special impression on me!”

“I've tried a few things from other J.sweets. However this is the first time I tried a mochi cream, specifically from this location. This place has a lot of different sweets. They have them all set out so you know how they look. So I'd say organized, and you're aware of what you'll be getting with whatever treat you get. The sweets look so beautifully presented, and from my experiences from other location, the quality has never disappointed. I went to get mochi creams twice at this location. The first time I tried the strawberry shortcake, double mango, green tea and black sesame. My top favorite flavors are strawberry shortcake and double mango. Strawberry shortcake had a whip cream blended with cake pieces, and between that a strawberry puree inside a pink mochi. It was light, and full of flavor. it tasted like I as eating a strawberry shortcake. The double mango didn't used an artifical flavored mango. The cream was mango flavored, with a mango puree inside the cream. I didn't like the green tea and black sesame. Both had mung been inside. Green tea was covered in matcha powder and had green tea flavored mung bean and cream. I'm not a fan of mung bean. The black sesame was the same, it had a black sesame mung bean flavor with cream. I wouldn't get these. I didn't pay attention to the service the first time, but I did the second time. The ladies working are very sweet and attentive. They smiled the whole time, and I appreciate a smile when it comes to customer service. I got the banana chocolate and peach yogurt. Both also had mung bean, but the chocolate flavored made the mung bean in he mochi bearable. I believe the mung bean was banana flavor, and the cream was chocolate cream. There were also chocolate chips. Then the mochi was rolled in cocoa. The peach tasted like medicine. The peach flavoring was not good. Overall I'd say get the strawberry and mango which apparently, were both top sellers there. The banana chocolate is descent as well. So I'd go back for these three for sure!”

“We have tried chocolate shops up and down the east and west coast, And in Europe as we travel and we are still talking about chocolate soldier. Except for Switzerland we have not had any as good and we make visiting a chocolate shop or baking a must for every day s we travel. She makes a big square puff of chocolate that is out of this world. We live in Virginia and talk about a west coast trip , but only if it starts at chocolate soldier. Absolutely not to be missed if you love a good milk chocolate. Nothing with a funny ingredients, just basic, yummy, delicious chocolate. A mint one, a s'more, and that square puff. 5 months later I am still thinking about it .”

“I thought this was a really cute shop. I feel it had what most candy stores strive for: novelty candies and the basics if you're looking for average every day sweets. I liked the variety and I found the customer service to be good. As I see the other reviews to be a year to nine months ago where there may have been a change to service or rudeness I did not experience that. I actually had my hands full and the owner or woman behind the counter today gave me a basket. Of course my rule to myself was "my hands are full so I can't buy more" but she changed that! Haha I got my son a bunch of silly candies that may have been over priced but that's what I kind of expect going into these kinds of places. It felt clean and the candies I bought have tasted fine. “All the candy your heart could desire! This is candy heaven. It doesn't look like much from the outside. But inside, is packed with taffy in every flavor. And I mean everyyyyyy flavor! So many taffy options. I didn't even know taffy had such diversity. I grabbed one of the ore-made variety packs of taffy that come in the cute little bags. It says Newport Beach and has a cute dolphin on it. And then we grabbed one of every flavor. So we could try them all. There was only one watermelon flavored left!! That seems to be a popular flavor! They also has some super Mario brothers inspired candies that looked fun. The gummy sushi's and pizzas too. Lots of rock candy and licorice in different flavors. They have ring pops, airheads, and candy necklaces too. Such a cute little candy shop! If you have a sweet tooth, you are bound to find something here.”

I was truly amazed by the huge selection offered, and the store seems to be incredibly well designed. Just an array of colors and decorations, super appealing. In addition, I found the staff to be incredibly inventive and kind. I was looking for a specific old-time candy, "Valomilk", and the staff was super keen on helping find this specific candy. While they were out of stock in the front, the manager was generous enough to look in the back for me, and eventually find one of their remaining Valomilk's. Incredibly kind gesture. “We came in for some chocolates at this little shop. Store itself is very organized but a bit narrow. We had to try not to bump into other people at times. Hubby is a big fan of chocolates or chocolate flavored desserts. I like chocolates but I don't eat them often. Mainly because it makes me breakout now and then. The selections are huge here, chocolate covered apples, marshmallows, all sorts of chocolates even a bunch of sugar free ones. We picked a Pokémon marshmallow and assorted chocolates. The cashier boy was very friendly and fast. This is a great place to pick up chocolate desserts!”
