Been here 3 times in the past couple of years. They did a good job on smog and an ok job on my alternator but about 4 months ago when I took my vehicle in for a new motor mount they told me they fixed it and charged 400 and even tried to show me a "motor mount" that they took out of my vehicle and supposedly had replaced with a new one but they never actually replaced it, the problem still remained. Confirmed when a week later I took it to another shop in town that actually fixed the problem. I could tell I wasn't welcome there for whatever reason and haven't returned since but felt I should warn others after realizing I could help others avoid dealing with an unscrupulous business.

After having my car all day, they said that they could not fix my automatic doors, that only the dealership could do this and it usually runs about $2200.00 per door. He offered to disconnect the automatic doors for me instead, so that I could still use them manually, and I agreed. Instead, he never even took the light off to get to the motor, he cut the lines of the doors thinking I would never find out, and charged me $220 for that. Very shady, very dishonest. I can't believe this happened and this is just incredibly lazy and honestly embarrassing. I hope nobody else gets duped by them in the future.

Had my vehicle break down far from my home in Corning, my adult son was driving. This mechanic was excellent honest and extremely helpful. Unfortunately when my son went to pick up repaired vehicle he was T-boned less than a mile away, son is fine but vehicle total loss! Had to deal with insurance company and had many difficulties but this business was patient helpful and kind from start to finish! Thank you Olive City Auto from this single mom with a young adult son and 2 minors at home in a tough situation dealing with less kind ppl would have been a nightmare!
