1222 Solano St, Corning“Firstly, let me say that I love this bank and have never had poor service either over the phone or in person until today. Today I called about a very simple request regarding my bank account and was told I would either need to give my account number or my social security number to complete the request. I replied that I could give my debit card number or the last four numbers of my social but refused to give the number in full over the phone. The bank employee "Monica", replied she would need the full social number and could not use the debit card number. I located my account number that wasn't on hand and gave her the number. On the phone, I overheard her talking with another employee about completing another assignment not related to my call, and afterwards I heard her sigh and felt as though I was wasting her time or something. After giving her the checking account number she said she couldn't find it and asked again for the full social security number. I felt frustrated and less than important as a customer for at least ten years now. I could go on and on about the wonderful customer service this bank and its employees provide and have provided me in the past but sadly this experience was not included. After calling back I talked to another employee that told me it would be preferred if I could give her my debit card number, as the task I was trying to complete required such. The employee was able to complete the task and redeem her fellow employee in no time. Thank you guys for always making me feel welcome and even remembering my name when I come into the branch. You are appreciated.”
