We have done mail forwarding from Sonora and Copper for 21 years without a problem while on extended vacations.. This year we filled out a forwarding order in the Copper post office with Debbie personally.We had out neighbor check last week to find out why we have not received ANY mail in 18 days. After a another call this week she promissed we would get our mail. Still nothing.

I have never seen such incompetent people working at a post office, I’ve been trying to get my mailbox key since they put a new lock on my mail box but they can’t figure out how to get it to latch.I payed 50 dollars for a new lock because I lost my key. It’s been going on three weeks now I just can’t believe it’s taking so long this isn’t rocket science

They sometime push packages off an extra day and like today I had a package that was post to come in and it said the made an attempt to drop it off and there was something block or stoping them from getting to my mail box or drive way when there is litterly nothing that could of stop them from going up the drive way and my mail box is not blocked by nothin

Be careful, the staff here is unprofessional and they have a reputation of holding onto your mail on purpose. I have not received any mail in months and Debbie “Post Master” who I spoke with, was rude and was of no help. The reviews on this platform is a reflection of their customer service, extremely poor. It’s horrible!! I felt like I was talking to my toddler, the conversation went nowhere and was of no assistance. Copperopolis community beware!!

Worst USPS location. Our mail is constantly being stolen from our locked mail box at our home It's strange how the mail is being stolen. There are only two keys to access our mail box, one is mine, the other is the USPS carriers that is used when delivering the mail. When the mail is stolen there is no damage to my "locked" mail box. They are only stealing checks, bank cards, and packages left in the mail box. Apparently, our mail thief has a special set of skills, where in broad daylight he/she is able to successfully access the mail boxes which are cluster boxes in our housing community with a key, (not a master key) but has a copy mail box keys throughout our gated community. Then have the time to sort through the mail in the mail boxes taking only money and credit cards, but leaving the bills and junk mail.They even take the packages that are scanned delivered to the mailbox, but do no take the packages delivered to the front door. This has been going on over a year. Per I believe her name to be Debbie at the USPS office we needed to get a P.o. box and have it mail forwarded to the P.o. box and that would stop our mail being stolen. We finally broke down got a p.o. box had our mail forwarded, and after paying for that P.o. box, I can report that the monetary pieces of mail are "STILL" going missing . So my mail thief is either psychic and knows we forwarded the mail, or said thief works in the postal service. When i went in today and spoke with Brett he again refused to go backand see if there was mail held at the carriers area. He stated he already checked to see if I had mail that day. Apparently he has those special skills to know i was going to come in and ask that question, so he checked before I got there. What a joke!!

Update: still waiting for Deb to forward my complaint to consumer affairs!! It has been a nightmare to deal with this postal office, I have never encountered such unprofessional staff. Brett called me to follow up and did not let me speak, talked over me and got snappy! The worse customer service! They need TRAINING!!

The postal service in Copperopolis is terrible. I've had three different interactions with them over the past two months and the people working behind the counter are always so rude. Their customer service skills really need some work. They make you feel stupid if you're not sure what you're doing, very unprofessional. I work in customer service myself and never would I treat someone with this type of disrespect. Do better!

Don’t get money orders at this post office they are always having problems with their equipment made me 6 days late on my rent because their system froze then tried to tell me the payment didn’t go through as I’m on the phone with my bank and they are saying yes it did go through.
