By far the worst insurance I have had to deal with, I have been hung up on twice, waiting on hold for over and hour and then still all claims get denied. Now I need to log into portal and need a code to talk to someone? Why can't you just pay your claims that your CUSTOMERS are paying you for! So frustrating, and they keep telling the patient that we are submitting claims wrong after I have done what the rep has told me over and over again. They just dont want to pay.

I do not understand why claims take so long to process. With computers/technology, getting paid for sick leave time should not take 2 weeks. I'm lucky I do not live pay check to pay check but some do. If you submit forms electronically, the process should be streamline. Also, you need the option for direct deposit so people are not waiting on snail mail for a paper check. There are so many people that do not submit claims and go without taking sick time because they cannot afford to wait for the slow process of the trust fund. Changes must be made to make this process work better and more efficiently.

When it comes to reaching by phone and talking to a real person at the Local 5 Trust Fund office it is the worst experience and considering reasons in which members have to call you would think they would make it a priority to answer our calls. The website and the abitity to actually and accurately accomplish what we are told to do with a deadline is a complete joke. They say they are aware of this but yet they still do not answer our phone calls so we can make sure we meet the deadlines. Don’t they know that it us the members who employees them. Answer our calls!

I have worked for the UFCW Trust for 5 years now. It is a great place to work. Our MSR's work so hard to provide excellent customer service, even when the phones are busy. Our teams, work so hard to get the job done and take care of our membership. I know it may not always feel like it, but we really are working hard for your benefit.

I just called re a pension verification and the woman was so unbelievably rude and hurtful. I told her that the verification was being mailed today. Explaining that there had been a death in the family and things had been pretty rough for me! She was very abrupt and rude and told me that my pension had been suspended and I could not have direct deposit on the first. Every word out of her mouth was rude!

I worked in the grocery store 12 years, and now am applying for my pension. What a fiasco!!!They want so much paperwork. Stuff that is really none of their business either.( Full divorce papers with the settlement agreement, child support information, division of property). Past working history from 40 yrs ago. Month and year ( like I can remember the date hired from McDonald's when I was 16).Mailed the same papers twice to them, now, they need something else. Been waiting 5 months, no money sent yet ..They need to simplify this system.

It takes soooo... long to actually get through to them by phone. I have tried for 3 days now and nobody answers (waited over 30 minutes each time). And no, I cannot use the website for a specific question regarding a bill.

I hate absolutely hate the trust fund. Whenever I call it’s difficult to reach someone over the phone. The customer service is horrible it’s the worst and the company is not any better. A complete waste of my time and the company doesn’t not have correct information on me. Their records are not accurate call at your own risk.

Terrible,terrible,terrible!I've had nothing but bad experiences from my first interaction. The Union does not look out for the members of the Union. they are only concerned about getting themselves paid. From an awful contract to not answering emails, they aren't of any use to me.They have done nothing but waste my time since day 1!

The front desk ladies are ALWAYS polite, helpful and very knowledgeable of their job and the union benefits. Customer service is EXCELLENT but so is there friendly and kind demeanor!!!

Not a fan. I was very disappointed with the outcome of this place. Gave me the run around and at the same time I am so glad I did not end up here. The vibes here were NOT welcoming. I guess it is true, looks can be deceiving.I do not recommend them whatsoever.
